ChatGPT Business Plan in Pakistan: Seat Prices, GPT-6 Limits and Team Costs
ChatGPT Business seats cost $20 or $100 a month on annual billing. See Pro message limits, Work and Codex ranges and what a 5-person team pays in rupees.

ChatGPT Business has two seat types: Standard at $20 a month per user if billed annually ($25 monthly), and Premium at $100 a month ($125 monthly). Premium gives five times the usage of Standard and no five-hour limit. Business suits teams of 2 to 200.
A small agency, clinic or software house in Pakistan can put every staff member on one workspace instead of personal accounts. We read OpenAI's Business pricing page and its Business models and limits help page on 22 October 2026. At about Rs 277 to the dollar, a Standard seat is roughly Rs 5,540 a month on annual billing, before any bank fee or tax.
Standard and Premium seats differ in usage, not in features
OpenAI says both seat types include ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex. Premium seats have five times the included usage of Standard seats, with no five-hour limit, so people can work uninterrupted. You can mix seat types inside one workspace.
| Seat | Annual billing (per month) | Monthly billing | About (Rs, annual) | Usage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $20 | $25 | 5,540 | Base, five-hour limit applies |
| Premium | $100 | $125 | 27,700 | 5x Standard, no five-hour limit |

Both seats include a secure workspace, single sign-on, multi-factor sign-in, central billing, usage analytics, spend controls, and no training on your business data by default. OpenAI's page says Business is for teams of 2 to 200 employees. Larger firms are pointed to Enterprise with custom pricing.
Standard seats get 15 Pro messages a month and Premium get 50 a week
OpenAI states that Business Standard includes 15 GPT-6 Pro messages a month, and Premium includes 50 a week. These are shared with GPT-5.6 Sol Pro, so switching between them does not add messages. Pro in Chat is a model option, not another name for a Premium seat.
These Chat allowances are separate from Work and Codex usage. For ordinary Instant chats, OpenAI describes access as virtually unlimited, subject to safeguards against misuse. That does not extend to reasoning, Pro, Work, Codex or other tools.
Work and Codex limits on Business match Plus for Standard seats
For Standard seats, OpenAI estimates 5 to 45 GPT-6 Astra local messages and 15 to 150 for GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6.1 Sol per five-hour window. The main pricing page prints 15 to 160 for GPT-6.1 Sol and 350 to 3,000 for Luna.
Standard seats include limited Astra use inside their existing allowance, while Premium can use the full allowance for Astra. Per-window detail is in usage limits per plan. When included usage runs out, a workspace can buy credits if the admin allows spending. Credit rates are in credits for Fast and Ultrafast.
A five-person team costs about Rs 28,000 to Rs 50,000 a month
Five Standard seats on annual billing are $100 a month, about Rs 27,700. The same five on monthly billing are $125, about Rs 34,600. Four Standard seats and one Premium seat on annual billing are $180, about Rs 49,900. These sums are our arithmetic from OpenAI's prices.

These are before bank charges and any tax. Annual billing is cheaper per seat, but it ties you to the headcount you start with. If your agency grows or shrinks often, the monthly price may be worth the extra Rs 6,900 for five seats. Ask your accountant how a dollar invoice from a foreign company is treated in your books before you commit.
For a freelance agency in Lahore, one Premium seat for the person who runs long coding or research jobs and Standard seats for writers and designers is the cheapest mix that avoids five-hour lockouts for the heavy user. A clinic that only drafts letters and summaries needs Standard seats only.
- List who needs ChatGPT daily and who only needs it weekly.
- Give Premium only to people who hit the five-hour limit.
- Pick annual billing if you are sure of the headcount.
- Set spend controls before you allow credit purchases.
- Write a short rule for what staff may paste into ChatGPT.

On the last point, PKCERT's advice on using AI chatbots safely at work is a good start. A Business workspace also keeps staff work out of personal accounts. If you stay on personal plans instead, compare them in the full plan table.

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 22 October 2026. We read OpenAI's Business pricing page, its Business models and limits page and its Work and Codex pricing page on that date. Rupee figures use the State Bank of Pakistan's 22 October rate of about 277 and are our arithmetic. We did not open a Business workspace or test the allowances. Taxes and invoicing for Pakistani companies are not covered on the pages we read.
