The only official website of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) is www.bsek.edu.pk, and its only official Facebook page is facebook.com/bsek.pak. The board warned on 24 August 2026 that bsek.com, bsek.com.pk and similar sites are not linked to it. Do not pay any fee or share any roll number on them.

If you are a Karachi student, a parent or a school, you will see many pages that look like the board. This guide shows how to check a page in a minute, what the board itself lists, and what to do if you already paid a fake site.

Check the web address before you type anything

Look at the full address in your browser bar. The real site ends with .edu.pk and starts with bsek. If it ends with .com, .com.pk, .net or .info, it is not the board's site, whatever the page looks like.

The BSEK public notice, dated 24 August 2026, names bsek.com and bsek.com.pk as examples of sites that are not affiliated with, authorised by or officially linked to the board. It tells readers not to trust admission instructions, results, fee or payment requests, or job advertisements from such platforms.

How to tell the real Karachi board website address from fake BSEK sites

Search results and sponsored links can put copycat pages at the top. Type www.bsek.edu.pk yourself, or tap the website link on the board's official Facebook page. The notice says that page is the only social media page linked from the board website.

The board also lists a WhatsApp channel on its site through a QR code. Join only through that code on the official website, not through a number a stranger sends you.

We read these details on the board's home page on 8 October 2026.

Find the latest notices where they belong

The board posts its notices under the news section of its own site. On 8 October 2026 the five latest titles were: General Group Mark Sheet Issue 2026 (7 October), Tardeed (5 October), Revised Schedule Online Enroll Form 2027 (1 October), Wazahat (30 September) and Online 9 Class Exam Form 2027 (24 September).

We could read the titles and dates, but the full text of those notices did not load for us, so we cannot give you the form dates or fees. Open the notice on the board's site and follow what it says. If a different site gives you a date or fee that is not on the board's own notice, treat it as unconfirmed.

If you only need results, our guide to Sindh board result sites, tested one by one shows which pages worked. Our guide to checking board results online in Pakistan covers other boards.

Follow these steps if you already used a fake site

Act quickly if you shared a CNIC, a roll number or a payment. A fake site can use the details to ask you for more money or to attack your accounts. The steps below limit the damage.

  1. Stop. Do not make a second payment to get the first one back.
  2. Screenshot the page, the address and any payment receipt.
  3. Tell your bank or wallet provider at once and ask them to flag the payment.
  4. Change passwords on any account that used the same details.
  5. Write to the board at crm@bsek.edu.pk with your screenshots.
  6. Report the site to the cybercrime authorities.
Steps to take after paying a fake Karachi board website in Pakistan

Our guide to reporting a cybercrime to the NCCIA has the portal and the details to keep. The guide to checking an online store for scams lists more warning signs that also apply to copycat education sites.

Schools should also stay alert. A school office that pays an exam or enrolment fee through a copycat page can lose the money and miss the real deadline. Share the official address with your staff and with parents, and ask them to type it by hand instead of following links in messages or group chats.

Common questions about the Karachi board website

What is the official BSEK website?

The official site is www.bsek.edu.pk. The board says no other website represents it, and it names bsek.com and bsek.com.pk as examples of sites that do not.

Does BSEK ask for fees on WhatsApp or by phone numbers?

The board warns against trusting fee or payment requests from unofficial platforms. We found no notice that tells students to send money to a personal number. Check any request against the board's own website first.

Where can I see the date sheet and forms?

Open the news or examination section of www.bsek.edu.pk. On 8 October 2026 it listed notices on the 2027 enrolment form and the Class 9 exam form. Read the full notice there.

How do I contact the board by email?

The home page lists crm@bsek.edu.pk. The head office is at Block-5, Nazimabad, Karachi. Write from your own email and attach screenshots.

Can I trust a Facebook page that says it is BSEK?

Only the page linked from the official website. The board says the only official Facebook page is facebook.com/bsek.pak. Treat other pages as unofficial.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 8 October 2026 on the official BSEK website, www.bsek.edu.pk, including its public notice of 24 August 2026 and its list of latest notifications. We could not open the full text of the 2027 form notices, so form dates and fees are not stated here. Always confirm on the board's own site.
