How to Check Your Case and the Cause List on the Federal Constitutional Court Website
Use fccp.gov.pk to search your case, read the weekly cause list, get an e-copy of an order and reply to a notice. See each page, field and helpline listed.

Short answer: Open fccp.gov.pk and use Online Case Information to search by case type, number, registry and year, or by advocate or party name. Check the Cause List for your hearing date, and use the e-Copy page for copies. The helpline is +92 51 111 322 322.
Update, 11 October 2026: A notice can be answered with the online e-Notice form.
A hearing date that you hear about from a clerk or a client is a rumour until you see it on the list. The Federal Constitutional Court publishes its lists online, and a few minutes on the site can save a wasted trip to Islamabad.
We opened the court's own website and read its menu, its cause list page, its online case information page, its notifications and its contact page. We did not run a live search, because the forms need a real case number.
Online Case Information searches by case or by name
Online Case Information on fccp.gov.pk lets you search by case type, case number, registry and year, or by advocate enrolment or name, party name and fixation date. The case type list includes C.A., C.P.L.A., Crl.P.L.A., Crl.A., C.R.P., F.C.P. and H.R.C.
The registry field has five options, shown as I, P, L, K and Q. The cause list page groups lists by Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, so those letters most likely stand for those five. Use the letter on your case number if you have one.
The year list runs from 1980 to 2026. You need the exact case type, so copy it from your notice or order.
| What you need | Page on fccp.gov.pk | What it asks for |
|---|---|---|
| Case status and next date | Online Case Information | Case type, number, registry, year; or advocate or party name |
| Your hearing this week | Weekly Cause List (Current Week) | Case type, number, registry, year or judge |
| Your hearing in a given list | Cause List | Registry filter, then a downloadable list |
| Which bench sits when | Roster of Sittings | Nothing, it is a list of downloadable files |
| Copy of an order | e-Copy | Case search, then an application |
| Earlier fixing | Early Hearing Request | Case search, then a request |
| Delay in appearing | Case Adjournment | Case search, then the form |
| Reply to a court notice | e-Notice | Name, email, case number, mobile, attachment |

The cause list shows the week before it starts
The court posts final cause lists for a full working week and supplementary lists for single days. On the day we looked, Final Cause List No. 40 for 12 to 16 October 2026 was posted on 8 October, and supplementary lists for 13 and 14 October were posted on 9 October.
That timing is the practical point. Final lists 38, 39 and 40 were each posted three to four days before the week they cover. Supplementary lists can add cases or change a day, so check again the evening before you travel.
- Open fccp.gov.pk and choose Cause List under Case Info.
- Filter by registry: All, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar or Quetta.
- Download the final list for your week and search the file for your case number.
- Download any supplementary list dated after it.
- Check the Roster of Sittings, which lists the court roster by date, to see which bench is sitting.
- Look again the day before the hearing.

Orders and copies are available online
The Judgements and Orders page lets you search by text, type, judge and dates, and download the file. The e-Copy page starts with a case search and then an application. Use it for a copy of an order. A certified copy for filing a review is a separate need.
Review has a 30 day clock, so do not wait. We explained the deadlines in the Federal Constitutional Court's appeal and review limits. If you need a certified copy from a High Court instead, getting a certified copy of a court order in Punjab has the steps.
On 9 October 2026 the court also listed an Adjournment Form on its Notifications page. Rule 2 of Order XXI says an adjournment is granted only on a proper written application showing sufficient cause, and that a request by letter, fax or email is not ordinarily entertained.
Replying to a court notice and checking it is real
The e-Notice page accepts a reply to a notice: your name, email, subject, case number, mobile number, a message and an attachment. The court lists enotices@fccp.gov.pk and +92 51 111 322 322 in its header. Check any notice you receive against the case on the site.
Anyone can send a message that looks official. If a message about your case asks for money or a bank detail, stop. A court notice does not ask for payment to a personal account. Call the helpline and confirm the case number before you reply.
For Supreme Court cases, the steps differ. See our page on checking a court case status online for those, and the early hearing application in the Supreme Court.
