Check LDA Ballot Result in Lahore: 95 Plots Won From 1,520 Applicants in the September 2026 Draw

Short answer: LDA's ballot result of 9 September 2026 is on lda.gop.pk/ballot-results. It picked 95 winners from 1,520 eligible applicants for three plot categories in Lahore: 25 in Johar Town Block K, 30 in LDA Avenue-I and 40 in LDA City's Business Bay. Open your scheme's "Selected" PDF and search it for your 13 digit CNIC without dashes.

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sells some plots by ballot instead of auction. Applicants pay a fee by challan, LDA checks eligibility, then a computer draw picks the winners. We downloaded and counted every list on LDA's site on 20 October 2026. If you applied and have not checked, here is how to read your result and what comes next.

The September ballot covered three plot categories

The 9 September 2026 ballot was for 5 marla residential plots in Block K of M.A. Johar Town, 5 marla commercial plots in LDA Avenue-I's Commercial Zone, and 4 marla commercial plots in Business Bay, LDA City. Each category has a selected list and a waiting list of the same length.

Johar Town was the hardest draw. Roughly one applicant in 22 got a plot there. The LDA Avenue-I commercial plots were the easiest, at about one in 12. These odds are our own arithmetic from LDA's lists of eligible applicants and winners.

Search the Selected PDF for your CNIC in four steps

Each list is a PDF with your CNIC, name, father's or husband's name, the challan number you paid with, and an applicant code. The CNIC appears as 13 digits with no dashes, so search that way. It takes about a minute.

1. Open lda.gop.pk and go to Ballot Results, then "Ballot Result, September 09, 2026, Selected List".
2. Download the PDF for the category you applied for.
3. Press Ctrl and F, or use Find on your phone, and type your CNIC as 13 digits without dashes.
4. If your CNIC appears, check that the challan number matches your own receipt.

If your CNIC is not on the selected list, check the waiting list for the same category. If you are on neither, first confirm you were on the list of eligible applicants, which LDA also publishes. If you were never on it, your application was not counted, and you should ask LDA why in writing.

A waiting list place is not a plot

LDA published a waiting list as long as the selected list in every category. Its ballot page does not say how or when a waiting list applicant moves up. A waiting list usually exists to fill a place if a winner drops out, fails to pay or is found ineligible, but LDA has not set out its own rule.

So do not pay anyone who says they can "move you up". If LDA offers you a plot from the waiting list, it will be by an LDA letter. Ask LDA's sales directorate directly if you want to know your position.

Winners must sign an undertaking before allotment

LDA posted an undertaking form with the September result. Each winner confirms they took part in the ballot and names the person, company or firm they applied for. That named party becomes the only allottee, so get it right first time.

By signing, the allottee agrees to four conditions:

• Pay the full cost of the plot in the instalments LDA sets.
• Build on the plot to an LDA approved plan within the building period, and get a completion certificate.
• Not change the land use of the plot against the Master Plan.
• Follow every term of LDA's Sales and Allotment Committee, as amended.

Missing the building period does not cost you the plot outright, but you will pay LDA's extension charges. Before you build, you need LDA building plan approval, and at the end you need an LDA completion certificate. LDA also posted part plans of Block K and LDA Avenue-I, so you can see where the plots sit.

LDA has held at least three ballots in 2026

The September draw was not the only one this year. LDA's results page also lists a ballot on 18 May 2026, for Allama Iqbal Town Fruit Market, Johar Town commercial and residential plots, LDA City Business Bay and LDA Enclave Block D, and an earlier one on 20 April 2026.

If you missed out, the next chance may be an auction rather than a ballot. LDA's auction on 3 November 2026 includes 5 marla plots in Johar Town and 4 marla commercial plots in LDA City, at set starting prices. The details are in the LDA plot auction on 3 November. LDA City file holders can also check their file on LDA's "LDA City Status" page with a CNIC or NICOP and file number.

Whatever you buy, buy it from LDA or a verified seller. Private schemes using "LDA" in their name are not LDA's own, so check them against LDA's approved and illegal scheme lists.
