LDA is selling 45 residential plots in five Lahore schemes
The residential list covers 45 plots in Johar Town, LDA City, LDA Enclave, Jubilee Town and Tajpura. Starting prices run from Rs 850,000 a marla in LDA City to Rs 3.5 million a marla in Tajpura.
| Scheme | Plots | Size | Starting price a marla | Earnest money |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Johar Town | 31 | 3.44 to 20 marla | Rs 1.85m to Rs 3.2m | Rs 1.1m to Rs 3.7m |
| LDA City | 5 | 7.48 to 40 marla | Rs 850,000 to Rs 1.5m | Rs 1.1m to Rs 6m |
| LDA Enclave, Block D | 4 | 3 marla | Rs 1.85m | Rs 600,000 |
| Jubilee Town, Block F | 2 | 5.03 marla | Rs 1.6m to Rs 1.9m | Rs 1.1m |
| Tajpura | 3 | 5 to 5.30 marla | Rs 1.95m to Rs 3.5m | Rs 1.1m to Rs 1.9m |
The cheapest plot in total is a 3 marla plot in LDA Enclave Block D, at a starting price of about Rs 5.55 million. The two 40 marla plots in LDA City start at Rs 52 million and Rs 60 million. Corner plots carry a higher price a marla than the plot next door, often by Rs 200,000.

64 commercial plots are spread over ten schemes
The commercial list has 64 lots, from a 0.40 marla shop site in Quaid-e-Azam Town to a 175.40 marla plot in Johar Town's Finance and Trade Centre (FTC). The highest starting price is Rs 14 million a marla at Jinnah Market, Quaid-e-Azam Town.
- Johar Town: 8 lots, including three FTC plots at Rs 6.5 million to Rs 7.9 million a marla.
- LDA City: 8 lots of 4 marla in Blocks EE and FF, at Rs 11 million a marla.
- LDA Avenue One: 8 lots, most near 4.8 marla at Rs 8.5 million to Rs 10 million a marla.
- Quaid-e-Azam Town and Township: 11 lots. Four tiny shop sites are priced per plot, at Rs 6 million to Rs 11 million.
- Sabzazar: 10 lots at Rs 3.2 million to Rs 5 million a marla.
- Jubilee Town: 7 lots, including two apartment sites of 60 and 80 marla.
- Allama Iqbal Town: 4 lots at Rs 6.1 million a marla.
- Mustafa Town, Gujjarpura and Tajpura: 8 lots between them, at Rs 2 million to Rs 2.7 million a marla.
Five commercial lots start above Rs 100 million in total: the two Jubilee Town apartment sites and the three FTC plots. The 175.40 marla FTC plot alone starts at about Rs 1.14 billion, with earnest money of Rs 114.1 million.
You pay 20 per cent in 15 days and the rest in 60 days
The highest bidder pays 20 per cent of the price within 15 days of the auction, holidays included, after adjusting the earnest money. For a plot under Rs 100 million, the other 80 per cent is due within 60 days of LDA's bid acceptance letter. Miss either and you can lose money.
Plots costing Rs 100 million or more get quarterly instalments instead. The term is 2 years up to Rs 1,000 million, 3 years up to Rs 2,000 million, and 4 years above that. If you pay the whole 80 per cent by the first instalment date, LDA refunds a rebate of 5 per cent of the total cost.

Here is a worked example on LDA's own figures. Johar Town plot 215, Block R-II, is 5 marla at Rs 3 million a marla, so it starts at Rs 15 million. The earnest money is Rs 1.6 million. If you win at the starting price, 20 per cent is Rs 3 million, so you pay Rs 1.4 million more within 15 days. Then Rs 12 million is due within 60 days of the acceptance letter.
Late payment is expensive. LDA gives 90 days to pay a missed amount with a surcharge of 1.45 per cent a month. On Rs 12 million, that is Rs 174,000 for each month late. After 90 days the bid is cancelled and 20 per cent of the total cost is forfeited. LDA may revive it within three months if you pay everything due plus 3 per cent of the cost.
Five rules in the terms that bidders often miss
The terms add costs and limits that the adverts do not show. Read these before you deposit earnest money, because LDA can keep that money if you change your mind after winning.
- Taxes are on you. The buyer pays advance income tax, stamp duty and TMA tax on top of the bid. See how tax on property bought at auction works.
- A single bid needs 5 per cent more. If you are the only bidder, LDA may accept only an offer at least 5 per cent above the starting price.
- The undertaking is due with the 20 per cent. It goes on non-judicial stamp paper and must name anyone you bid for. Check the e-stamp paper is genuine.
- You must build in 3 years. The building period runs from the allotment letter, or from physical possession if LDA cannot hand over within six weeks.
- Plots are sold "as is, where is". If the real area differs from the advert, you pay for the actual area.
Possession comes after full payment. You can ask for early possession after paying at least 20 per cent if you give a bank guarantee for the rest, but you cannot pass possession to anyone else until LDA is fully paid. When you build, you will need LDA building plan approval first.

Bring three CNIC copies and a pay order on 3 November
Every participant must bring three copies of their CNIC. The earnest money goes in as cash or a demand draft or pay order in favour of "LDA UD-Wing". Unsuccessful bidders get it back after the auction the same day.
If LDA rejects the highest bid, that bidder's earnest money is refunded, "preferably" within 15 days of the rejection letter. LDA's Directorate Housing-X, at 467-D/II, Khayaban-e-Firdousi, Johar Town, handles queries. These are LDA's own plots, so you do not need to check scheme approval as you would for a private housing scheme in Lahore.
Common questions
When and where is the LDA auction?
Tuesday, 3 November 2026, at 10:00 am at the Expo Centre, Johar Town, Lahore.

At least 10 per cent of the plot's starting price, as listed against each plot. For a 5 marla Johar Town plot that is Rs 1.6 million.

Do I pay tax on top of the bid?
Yes. The terms say the buyer pays advance income tax, stamp duty, TMA tax and any other government levy.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 20 October 2026. We read the three auction adverts and the "Terms and Conditions of Auction for Sale of Plots" on LDA's auction page on 20 October 2026, and LDA's auction record, which gives the advertisement date as 11 October 2026 and shows the terms PDF added on 19 October. We read the Urdu adverts as images. The plot counts by scheme, the totals per plot, the worked example and the surcharge figure are our own arithmetic from LDA's figures. LDA warns its published areas and prices may contain errors, so check the plot with Directorate Housing-X before you bid.
