Check UHS PGET 2026 Exam Day Rules in Punjab: Gate Closes 9 am, Original CNIC or Passport Only
UHS PGET on 25 October 2026: gates close at 9 am, only an original CNIC or passport works, and Paper II is at 12:30 pm. See what to bring and what is banned.

For the UHS Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2026 on Sunday 25 October, you must be inside the centre before 9:00 am, because entry is "strictly prohibited" after that. Bring your printed admittance card and your original CNIC or passport. Paper I is from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and Paper II is from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. You cannot leave until Paper II ends.
The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, published its instructions for candidates on its public notices page. We read the notice on 22 October 2026. Several details differ from what other pages say, including the Paper II time, so this guide sets out what the UHS notice itself says, point by point.
The gate opens at 8:00 am and closes at 9:00 am
On Sunday 25 October 2026 the examination centres open at 8:00 am. Every candidate must report before 9:00 am. UHS says entry after 9:00 am is strictly prohibited and it will not consider any request for late entry. The test runs at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan together.
Plan to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 am. Security screening takes time, and the notice says candidates must pass entry and security screening before Paper I starts. If you travel from another city, leave the night before, not that morning.

Only an original CNIC or passport is accepted as identity
UHS says you must bring a printed copy of your admittance card and your original, valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or passport. Without the original document you cannot enter or sit the exam. No other document is accepted instead.
The notice names what does not count: a B-Form or Child Registration Certificate, a domicile certificate, a Family Registration Certificate, a birth certificate, an SSC or HSSC certificate, and a driving licence. Photocopies, coloured or black and white, are refused. A digital CNIC on your phone is also refused. Check today that your CNIC has not expired.
Paper II starts at 12:30 pm, which differs from an earlier page
The UHS notice puts Paper II from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, with a 30 minute break after Paper I. Our earlier report on the test pattern gave 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We have checked the notice and the 12:30 pm time is the one UHS prints in its instructions.
The two notices on the UHS page agree with each other on 12:30 pm. If you read a different Paper II time on another page, follow the UHS notice and your admittance card. The earlier report is the PGET 2026 admit card and test pattern guide, which carries an update about this time.
Phones, calculators and smartwatches are banned inside the centre
UHS bans mobile phones, calculators, books, notes, written or printed material, weapons, smartwatches, digital watches, smart glasses and any electronic, wireless or Bluetooth device. The notice says there is no facility to keep bags or valuables safe. A banned item can lead to expulsion and cancellation of the paper.
Leave your phone and your bag at your lodging if you can. If you must bring a phone, you will have to look after it elsewhere. The notice states that no safekeeping is provided at any centre.
- Print your admittance card on plain white A4 paper.
- Pack your original CNIC or passport.
- Take one transparent clipboard and two blue or black ballpoint pens.
- Leave your phone, calculator, watch and notes behind.
- Arrive before 9:00 am and stay until Paper II ends.

Bring a clipboard and two ballpoint pens, and expect to stay until 2:30 pm
The mandatory stationery is one transparent clipboard and two blue or black ballpoint pens. Lead pencils, markers, pointers and correction fluid are not allowed. UHS says it provides drinking water and light refreshments during the exam.
After the entry and security check before Paper I, you must stay in the centre until the end of Paper II. The notice says nobody may leave before the examination is over. Eat well before you arrive and plan your travel home for the afternoon.
If your name, father's or guardian's name, gender, CNIC or passport number or photograph is wrong on the card, write to pget@uhs.edu.pk at once with documents. To find where your roll number sits, read the guide to PGET 2026 test centres and roll number ranges. The paper content is explained in the reports on Paper I and Paper II.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 22 October 2026. We read two UHS public notices on the UHS website: the "Issuance of Admittance Cards and Important Instructions for Candidates" and the notice with roll number ranges and test centres. Dates, times, identity rules, banned items and stationery come from those notices. We did not sit the test. UHS can change an instruction, so read your own admittance card and the website on the day before.
