Check the Punjab SEHR Free Courses for Women: Registration Is Closed for Now
Punjab's SEHR free courses for women are not taking new applications. See what the digital and hospitality courses offered, the stipend and fake link tips.

New registrations for the Punjab SEHR free courses for women are stopped for now. The Women Development Department's digital training page said on 8 October 2026: "Sehr's Course registrations are currently stopped. We are not accepting new applications while we update the certification process." It gave no date for reopening.
SEHR is the Women Development Department's skills programme. Two courses were advertised in February 2026, with set age and education rules and a monthly stipend for one of them. This guide shows what was offered, how to check whether a form has reopened, and how to avoid fake registration links.
Check the registration page before you fill anything
The official digital training page is on the Women Development Department website, wdd.punjab.gov.pk. Open it directly, not through a link in a message. If the form is closed, the page shows a notice instead of an application.
On 8 October 2026 the notice said new applications were not being accepted. Check again before you spend time on papers. Our checks cannot tell you when it will reopen, because the page gave no date.

Know what the two February 2026 courses offered
The department posted two courses in early February 2026. One was a six month online digital skills course. The other was a three month hospitality course taught in person in five cities. Both were free. The rules below were those advertised then and may change when registration reopens.
| Item | Digital skills (online) | Hospitality (in person) |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 6 months | 3 months |
| Age | 90% up to 30, 10% above 30 | 18 to 45 |
| Education | 16 years or equal | Matric |
| ID | Valid CNIC or Punjab domicile | Punjab domicile |
| Support | Laptop, internet device and package, Rs 5,000 a month | Not stated |
| Cities | Online | Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan |

The digital course covered English, digital skills, content creation, e-commerce and soft skills. The department also said about 70 per cent of seats were meant for rural women. The hospitality page said the aim was self-employment and job placement.
Prepare your documents now so you can apply fast
When a form reopens, seats may fill quickly, so keep your papers ready. We could not confirm the new document list, so use the earlier rules as a guide and check the new notice.
- A valid CNIC, and a Punjab domicile if you have one.
- Your latest degree or Matric certificate.
- A working mobile number and an email address in your name.
- A passport size photo and a clear scan of each paper.
Our guides to enrolling in a free DigiSkills course and to getting a NAVTTC skill certificate without classes cover options that are open to women across Pakistan while you wait.
Avoid fake registration links and fees
The department said the courses are 100 per cent free. Nobody should ask you for a fee, a mobile top up or an advance. Fake pages copy government names whenever a free programme gets attention.
- Open only the wdd.punjab.gov.pk address that you typed yourself.
- Do not scan a QR code from a forwarded image unless it came from the official site.
- Do not share your CNIC photo in a chat group.
If you are unsure, call the Punjab helpline. Our guide to the Punjab women's helpline 1043 lists skill development among the issues it handles.
Keep a short list of what you want from a course. Ask yourself whether you want a job, freelance work or your own small business. Digital skills suit freelance and online selling. Hospitality suits a job in a hotel or a kitchen. Knowing this makes it easier to choose when seats open, and it helps you answer an interview question if the programme asks one.
Also tell friends and family who may qualify, but share only the official address and not a screenshot of a form. Old forms and QR codes can lead to closed or fake pages, and a closed form wastes the time of everyone who tries it.
Look at other help for working mothers meanwhile
An April 2026 department announcement said Punjab had passed 350 daycare centres for working women. If you are looking for work or study and need childcare, ask your district Women Development office about the nearest one. The page we read did not give a list or how to enrol a child.

Common questions about the SEHR programme
Is SEHR registration open today?
On 8 October 2026 the official page said registrations were stopped while the certification process was updated. Check the page again on the day you plan to apply.
Do I pay anything to join an SEHR course?
The department advertised both courses as 100 per cent free. Report anyone asking for money.
Do the courses give a stipend?
The digital skills course advertised a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, plus a laptop and internet. The hospitality page did not state a stipend.
Can women from outside Punjab apply?
The advertised rules asked for a Punjab domicile or, for the digital course, a valid CNIC or Punjab domicile. Women in other provinces should look at federal programmes instead.
Will certificates be recognised?
The department said it was updating the certification process, and the page gave no details. Ask which body issues the certificate before you join.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 8 October 2026 on the Women Development Department Punjab digital training page, its February 2026 course notices (digital skills posted 4 February, hospitality 3 February) and its April 2026 daycare announcement. The course rules are as advertised in February and may change. We could not find a deadline, a reopening date or a new document list.
