CNIC Transfer Charges in Pakistan 2026: JazzCash vs Easypaisa vs UPaisa, Every Slab Compared
Wallet to CNIC fees for October to December 2026: Rs 55 to Rs 650 on JazzCash, Easypaisa and UPaisa, slab by slab, the cheapest and how to avoid the fee.

Sending money from a wallet to someone's CNIC costs Rs 55 for up to Rs 1,000 on JazzCash, Easypaisa and UPaisa alike, rising to Rs 600 or Rs 650 for Rs 20,001 to Rs 25,000. The three wallets charge the same up to Rs 15,000 and differ only at the top. If the receiver has any wallet or bank account, a normal transfer is free up to Rs 25,000 a month, which saves the whole fee.
CNIC transfer is how money reaches a parent or a worker who has no account: they collect cash from an agent with their identity card. It is also the most expensive way to send money inside Pakistan. We read the October to December 2026 schedules of charges for JazzCash, Easypaisa and UPaisa on 31 October 2026 and put every slab side by side below.
All three wallets charge Rs 55 to Rs 430 up to Rs 15,000
For every amount up to Rs 13,000, JazzCash, Easypaisa and UPaisa print identical CNIC transfer fees: Rs 55, Rs 110, Rs 160, Rs 215, Rs 270, Rs 320 and Rs 375 by slab. The next slab costs Rs 430 everywhere, though JazzCash stretches it to Rs 16,000.
| Amount sent to a CNIC | JazzCash | Easypaisa | UPaisa |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to Rs 1,000 | Rs 55 | Rs 55 | Rs 55 |
| Rs 1,001 to Rs 2,500 | Rs 110 | Rs 110 | Rs 110 |
| Rs 2,501 to Rs 4,000 | Rs 160 | Rs 160 | Rs 160 |
| Rs 4,001 to Rs 6,000 | Rs 215 | Rs 215 | Rs 215 |
| Rs 6,001 to Rs 8,000 | Rs 270 | Rs 270 | Rs 270 |
| Rs 8,001 to Rs 10,000 | Rs 320 | Rs 320 | Rs 320 |
| Rs 10,001 to Rs 13,000 | Rs 375 | Rs 375 | Rs 375 |
| Rs 13,001 to Rs 15,000 | Rs 430 | Rs 430 | Rs 430 |
| Rs 15,001 to Rs 16,000 | Rs 430 | Rs 500 | Rs 500 |
| Rs 16,001 to Rs 20,000 | Rs 500 | Rs 500 | Rs 500 |
| Rs 20,001 to Rs 25,000 | Rs 650 | Rs 600 | Rs 650 |
So Easypaisa is Rs 50 cheaper on the top slab, and JazzCash is Rs 70 cheaper between Rs 15,001 and Rs 16,000. Everywhere else the price is the same, so pick whichever wallet you already use. Every schedule stops at Rs 25,000, which is the most you can send to a CNIC in one go.
Tax treatment differs, which can move the final figure by a few rupees. JazzCash prints this table without saying tax is included, and its schedule lists fees excluding tax unless stated. UPaisa says its fees include FED. Easypaisa says government taxes are recovered on top of its listed fees.

A wallet-to-wallet transfer would cost nothing
The same Rs 25,000 sent to the receiver's own JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank account costs nothing within the Rs 25,000 monthly free allowance. Sending it to their CNIC costs Rs 600 or Rs 650. If you send every month, helping the receiver open a JazzCash account or any other wallet saves about Rs 7,000 a year.
That saving is our arithmetic: Rs 600 a month for twelve months is Rs 7,200. Opening a wallet is free on all three, needs only a CNIC and a SIM in the receiver's own name, and the receiver can still withdraw cash from an agent. The steps for wallet transfers are in our page on JazzCash to Easypaisa transfer.
CNIC transfer still makes sense for a one-off payment to someone with no phone in their own name, or an elderly parent who will not use an app. Just know what it costs.
How to send money to a CNIC from each app
In JazzCash, tap Money Transfer, choose CNIC Transfer, enter the receiver's CNIC and the amount, review and confirm with your MPIN. In Easypaisa, tap CNIC Transfer, enter the CNIC, the receiver's mobile number and the amount. UPaisa uses Money Transfer in the app or *786*1*2#.
- Open your wallet app and go to the CNIC transfer option.
- Enter the receiver's 13-digit CNIC number carefully.
- Enter the receiver's mobile number if the app asks for it.
- Enter the amount, keeping it within one slab if you can.
- Review and confirm with your MPIN or PIN.
- Send the receiver the transaction ID from your receipt.
Splitting a payment usually costs more. Rs 20,000 sent once costs Rs 500. Sent as two Rs 10,000 transfers it costs Rs 640. Check the slab before you decide. Bank customers have a similar option, compared in our page on NBP Pay to CNIC charges.

Collecting the money and cash-in without a wallet
The receiver collects from an agent of the same company, not any shop. JazzCash's schedule lists cash out from CNIC at zero, and UPaisa says money received over the counter is free. The receiver should carry their original CNIC and the transaction ID from the sender.
None of the three websites sets out exactly what the agent checks, so expect the CNIC to be verified and keep the transaction ID handy. An agent should never charge the receiver extra. If one does, report it to the wallet's helpline: 4444 for JazzCash from a Jazz number, 3737 for Easypaisa from Telenor, 7777 for UPaisa from Ufone.
Someone without a wallet can also hand cash to an agent to send into another person's wallet. JazzCash charges Rs 25 to Rs 350 for this, tax included, and UPaisa Rs 25 to Rs 260. That is much cheaper than CNIC to CNIC at the top amounts, as long as the receiver has a wallet.
Common questions
Which wallet is cheapest for CNIC transfer?
They are the same up to Rs 15,000. Easypaisa is cheapest for Rs 20,001 to Rs 25,000 at Rs 600, and JazzCash for Rs 15,001 to Rs 16,000 at Rs 430.
What is the maximum I can send to a CNIC?
Rs 25,000 per transfer in all three schedules. Your own wallet's daily and monthly limits also apply.
Does the receiver pay anything to collect CNIC money?
No fee is listed for collecting. JazzCash lists cash out from CNIC at zero and UPaisa lists received money as free.
How much does it cost to send Rs 10,000 to a CNIC?
Rs 320 on JazzCash, Easypaisa or UPaisa, because Rs 10,000 falls in the Rs 8,001 to Rs 10,000 slab on all three.
Can I cancel a CNIC transfer before it is collected?
None of the three schedules or FAQs we read explains a cancellation route. Call the wallet's helpline at once with the transaction ID and ask.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the JazzCash schedule of charges for 1 October to 31 December 2026, the Easypaisa schedule of charges for October to December 2026, the UPaisa fourth quarter 2026 schedule, and the three companies' money transfer pages and FAQs on 31 October 2026. Easypaisa's FAQ still shows an older CNIC table of Rs 35 to Rs 500; we use its current schedule. We did not send or collect a CNIC transfer, so the agent's checks are not confirmed.
