Chery Tiggo 7, 8 or 9 PHEV in Pakistan: Seats, Battery and Range Compared at the New Prices
Compare the Chery Tiggo 7, 8 and 9 PHEV in Pakistan: price from Rs 9,499,000, 5 or 7 seats, 18.3 or 34.46 kWh battery and 90 to 170 km of electric range.

Short answer: Choose the Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV (Rs 9,499,000) if five seats and about 90 km of electric driving are enough. Choose the Tiggo 8 PHEV (Rs 10,999,000) if you need seven seats. Choose the Tiggo 9 PHEV (Rs 14,299,900) only if you want the bigger 34.46 kWh battery and its stated 170 km of electric range. Those are Chery Pakistan's prices and figures on 20 October 2026.
All three are plug-in hybrids, or PHEVs: a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine plus a battery you charge from a socket. We read the specification sections on Chery Pakistan's model pages on 20 October 2026, the day after the price cuts were reported in our Chery Tiggo price cut report. This page compares the three on the things that decide a purchase: seats, battery, range, power, size and what each extra rupee buys.
The Tiggo 7, 8 and 9 differ most in seats and battery size
The Tiggo 7 seats five and the Tiggo 8 seats seven, and both carry an 18.3 kWh battery. The Tiggo 9 has a 34.46 kWh battery, almost twice as large, and three motors. Chery's Tiggo 9 page describes front and second row seats but does not state a seat count.
| Chery page figure | Tiggo 7 PHEV | Tiggo 8 PHEV | Tiggo 9 PHEV |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price, 20 October 2026 | Rs 9,499,000 | Rs 10,999,000 | Rs 14,299,900 |
| Seats | 5 | 7 | Not stated |
| Battery | 18.3 kWh | 18.3 kWh | 34.46 kWh |
| Electric range | 90+ km | 90 km (NEDC) | 170 km (NEDC) |
| Combined range | 1,200+ km | Up to 1,200 km (NEDC) | Up to 1,400 km (NEDC) |
| System power | 255 kW, 342 hp | 370 kW, 496 hp | 455 kW, 610 hp |
| 0 to 100 km/h | 8.4 seconds | 6.8 seconds | 5.4 seconds |
| Airbags | 8 | 10 | 10 |

Electric range is about 90 km on the Tiggo 7 and 8, 170 km on the Tiggo 9
Chery quotes more than 90 km of pure electric range for the Tiggo 7, 90 km for the Tiggo 8 and 170 km for the Tiggo 9, on the NEDC test. NEDC is an older laboratory test, and real driving in traffic, heat and with the AC on usually gives less. Treat these as upper limits.
The practical question is your daily drive. If you commute 30 to 40 km a day in Lahore or Karachi and charge every night, all three can do most of it on the battery, even with a real range well below the quoted figure. If you drive 120 km a day, only the Tiggo 9 has a chance of doing it without the engine. Chery's own pages say charging and range results depend on driving and conditions.
Every offer includes a 7 kW home charger. In theory, if the car accepts the full 7 kW, an empty 18.3 kWh battery takes about 2.6 hours and the 34.46 kWh battery about 4.9 hours. What that electricity costs you depends on your slab, as worked out in charging at home against a station.
The Tiggo 8 costs Rs 1.5 million more than the Tiggo 7 for two extra seats
The Tiggo 8 is Rs 1,500,000 more than the Tiggo 7. For that you get seven seats instead of five, 115 kW more power, two more airbags and a body 172 mm longer. The battery and the electric range are the same. For a family of six, it is the obvious choice.

The Tiggo 9 is Rs 3,300,900 more than the Tiggo 8 and Rs 4,800,900 more than the Tiggo 7. What that buys is the larger battery, about 80 km more electric range, more power and a bigger body. Whether it is worth Rs 3.3 million depends almost entirely on how far you drive each day.
| Size, Chery's figures | Tiggo 7 | Tiggo 8 | Tiggo 9 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Length | 4,553 mm | 4,725 mm | 4,810 mm |
| Width | 1,862 mm | 1,860 mm | 1,925 mm |
| Height | 1,696 mm | 1,705 mm | 1,741 mm |
| Wheelbase | 2,670 mm | Not stated | 2,800 mm |
Length matters in old city lanes and in apartment parking. The Tiggo 9 is about a quarter of a metre longer than the Tiggo 7 and 63 mm wider. Measure your gate before you fall in love with the big one.
Pick the right Chery PHEV in five steps
The choice is simpler than the brochures make it. Work through these steps with your own numbers, not the showroom's.
- Count the seats you need every week, not once a year. Six or seven rules out the Tiggo 7.
- Write down your normal daily distance. Under about 60 km, the 18.3 kWh battery is enough for most days.
- Check that you can fit the 7 kW charger at home, with parking next to a power point.
- Measure your gate and parking space against the lengths above.
- Get a written, "tax locked" quote with the delivery month before you pay a booking amount.
Tax is the wild card. Chery calls its prices "tax locked" for early bookings, and the tax on hybrids has changed sharply this year, as covered in the hybrid tax rise. If you are financing, the bank's limits in car financing in Pakistan may also cap what you can borrow on a car this price.
