You download an FBISE roll number slip at portal.fbise.edu.pk/fbise-conduct/slips: pick your exam, then type your full name and father's name, or your 10-digit registration number. For HSSC 2nd Annual 2026, the papers start on 12 November, but the slip was not yet on the portal when we checked on 27 October.

A missing slip three weeks before a paper is not unusual, and it is not a reason to panic yet. This page shows exactly what the Federal Board's slip portal asks for, which exams it lists right now, what your school or college can print for you, and who to call if your slip has a wrong name, photo or paper code.

The FBISE slip portal asks for your name and father's name or a registration number

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) slip page has one drop-down for the exam and two ways to search. Use your full name with your father's name, or use only the 10-digit registration number. Do not fill both.

  1. Open portal.fbise.edu.pk/fbise-conduct/slips on a phone or computer.
  2. Choose your exam from the drop-down, for example "HSSC-II 2nd Annual 2026" once it appears.
  3. Type your full name and your father's name exactly as on your admission form.
  4. Or leave the names blank and type your 10-digit registration number. The box rejects anything shorter or longer.
  5. Search, then download and print the slip. Check every line before you put it away.

The page clears the name boxes when you type a registration number, and clears the number when you type a name. That is by design, so pick one method.

The portal lists ten 2026 exams, and HSSC 2nd Annual is not one of them yet

On 27 October 2026 the FBISE slip drop-down listed ten exams. SSC-I and SSC-II 2nd Annual 2026 were there, as were the HSSC first annual slips and the Iran centre slips. HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 was not listed yet.

Exam in the drop-downListed on 27 Oct 2026
SSC-I 2nd Annual 2026Yes
SSC-II 2nd Annual 2026Yes
SSC-II (Matric Tech) 2nd Annual 2026Yes
Urdu International 1st Annual 2026Yes
SSC-I and SSC-II (Iran) 2026Yes
HSSC-I and HSSC-II (Iran) 2026Yes
HSSC-I and HSSC-II 1st Annual 2026Yes
HSSC-I and HSSC-II 2nd Annual 2026Not yet

The FBISE HSSC 2nd annual date sheet puts the first paper on Thursday 12 November 2026. FBISE does not print a slip release date on the portal, so check the drop-down every few days from early November.

Regular students can also get the slip through their institution

FBISE runs a separate institution portal at portal.fbise.edu.pk/fbise-conduct for schools and colleges. If you are a regular student, your institution can print your slip from there. Private candidates should use the public slip page.

Ask your college office first if the public page cannot find you. The institution portal is separate from the public page, so the office can look up your slip and see whether your form was accepted at all. If the college says your admission form never reached FBISE, that is a bigger problem than a slip, and it needs a call to the board the same day.

Two ways to get an FBISE roll number slip, public portal for private candidates and institution portal for regular students

A name search fails most often because of spelling

The portal matches your typed name against your admission form. "Muhammad" against "Mohammad", a missing middle name, or a father's name typed with "Malik" in front will all return nothing. Try the spelling from your form, then switch to the registration number.

  • No result by name: try the exact spelling on your admission form or previous result card, with and without middle names.
  • No result by number: check that you typed all 10 digits of the registration number, not your roll number or form number.
  • Wrong exam selected: HSSC-I is Part-I (11th), HSSC-II is Part-II (12th). A combined candidate should check both.
  • Slip still missing a week before the paper: call FBISE, and ask your institution to check the institution portal.

Your name and date of birth on FBISE records come from your registration data. If they are wrong on the slip, they will be wrong on the certificate too. The board's arrangement with NADRA on checking student names and dates of birth is meant to reduce such errors at registration.

Check five things on the slip before exam day

A roll number slip is your entry pass. Check your name, father's name, photo, exam centre and every paper code against the date sheet. A wrong paper code means a wrong question paper, and that is far harder to fix after the exam than before.

CheckWhy it matters
Name and father's nameThey go onto the result card and certificate
PhotoIt identifies you at the exam centre
CentreYou can only sit at the centre printed on the slip
Paper codesNew pattern, 2024 scheme and old course papers have different codes
SubjectsA missing subject means no paper for it

FBISE's date sheet for the second annual exam says papers run from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with attendance at 1:30 pm, and that mobile phones and smart watches are strictly prohibited in the centre. Take the slip, your CNIC or B-Form, and pens. Nothing else.

Call the FBISE test administration office about slip errors

The FBISE Controller of Examinations (Test Administration) office handles slips, centres and date sheets. Its numbers on the 12 October date sheet are 051-9269510, 051-9269519, 051-9269520 and 051-9269541, and the email is controller.ta@fbise.edu.pk.

FBISE lists its open hours as 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Call early in the day and keep your registration number, form number and CNIC or B-Form ready. Write down the name of the person you spoke to and the date. If you filed your FBISE second annual admission form late, keep the paid fee challan with you too; it is your proof that the form was submitted.

Common questions

How do I download my FBISE roll number slip 2026?

Open portal.fbise.edu.pk/fbise-conduct/slips, choose your exam, and search by full name and father's name or by your 10-digit registration number. Then print the slip.

When will the FBISE HSSC 2nd annual roll number slip come?

FBISE has not published a release date. The slips were not on the portal on 27 October 2026. The papers start on 12 November, so check from early November.

Can I get my FBISE slip by roll number?

No. The public slip page searches by name and father's name or by registration number. The roll number is printed on the slip itself.

What is the FBISE registration number?

It is a 10-digit number FBISE gives when you register. It is on your registration card or previous FBISE result card. The slip portal rejects a number that is not exactly 10 digits.

My name is wrong on the FBISE slip. What should I do?

Call the FBISE test administration office or email controller.ta@fbise.edu.pk before the first paper, and tell your institution. Do not wait until the result, because the same data goes on the certificate.

Is there an FBISE app for roll number slips?

FBISE links an official app on Google Play and the App Store from its homepage. We did not test slip downloads in the app, so use the web portal if the app does not show your slip.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We opened the FBISE roll number slip portal on 27 October 2026 and read its exam drop-down and search fields, including the 10-digit rule on the registration number box. Contact numbers and the email come from the FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 date sheet dated 12 October 2026, and open hours from the FBISE homepage. We could not confirm when HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 slips will be released, because FBISE had not announced a date.
