FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual Date Sheet 2026: Every Paper From 12 November to 16 December
FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 papers run 12 November to 16 December, 2 pm to 5 pm. See every paper by date, the paper codes, PBA practicals and closed days.

The FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026 starts on Thursday 12 November 2026, not in October, and the last theory paper is on Wednesday 16 December. Every paper is in the evening, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and you must be in the hall by 1:30 pm.
That start date matters because the board's own fee notice from September had said 28 October. We read the final date sheet, notification No. F-2(G)/HSSC-TA/2nd AE-2026/41, dated 12 October 2026, on the Federal Board's date sheets page on 27 October 2026. Below is every main paper by date, the closed days, the paper codes that confuse students, and the practical schedule.
The FBISE HSSC 2nd annual papers run from 12 November to 16 December 2026
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) will hold the HSSC Part-I and Part-II second annual papers from 12 November to 16 December 2026. All papers sit in one evening session, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with attendance at 1:30 pm.
Sundays are closed days: 15, 22 and 29 November, and 6 and 13 December. There is no morning session at all. That suits students who work or travel in the morning, but it means Friday papers also start at 2:00 pm, so plan Jumma prayers around the 1:30 pm reporting time.

Every main paper sits on a fixed date in the FBISE date sheet
The table lists the main papers for each exam day, Part-I and Part-II together, as printed by FBISE. Smaller elective and Hearing Impaired Candidate (HIC) papers share the same days. Check your own paper code on the PDF before you rely on any single row.

Notice the order. Part-II papers such as Mathematics-II, Physics-II and Chemistry-II come in November, while several Part-I papers, Chemistry-I and Computer Science-I among them, sit in the second week of December. A student repeating one Part-I paper may have a long wait.

Your paper code decides which version of a subject you sit
Most science subjects carry four codes on the same day. The code on your roll number slip tells you whether you sit the new pattern paper, the 2024 scheme, or an old course. Match the slip to the date sheet before exam day.
Take Physics-I on 13 November. FBISE prints Physics-I (271) for the 2024 scheme, Physics-I New Pattern (291), Physics-I (071) for the old course of 2022, and Physics-I (371) for the old course of 2006. Biology-I, Chemistry-I, Mathematics-I and Computer Science-I follow the same shape.
The New Pattern papers are the ones built on the 50 per cent MCQ pattern that FBISE brought in for HSSC-I. Students reappearing for an old failed paper usually keep the old course code. If your slip shows a code you did not expect, call the board before the paper, not after.
Practical exams start on 21 December, with PBA papers earlier
FBISE says practical exams for subjects outside Practical Based Assessment (PBA) start on Monday 21 December 2026. PBA practicals are written papers inside the date sheet, and the 60 minute ones are for failure and improvement cases only.
- Physics I and II practical (PBA), 2.5 hours, on 27 November; Physics-II practical (PBA), 60 minutes, the same day.
- Chemistry I and II practical (PBA), 2.5 hours, on 1 December; Chemistry-II practical (PBA), 60 minutes, the same day.
- Biology I and II and Computer Science I and II practicals (PBA), 2.5 hours, on 3 December.
- Chemistry-I practical (PBA), 60 minutes, on 5 December; Physics-I practical (PBA), 60 minutes, on 11 December.
- Biology-I and Computer Science-I practicals (PBA), 60 minutes, on 17 December, the last item on the sheet.
The wider plan for practical assessment from 2027 is in the board's note on composite practical based assessment. For this exam, follow the dates above.

Bring the right things and leave the phone at home
FBISE strictly bans mobile phones and smart watches inside exam centres. Bring your roll number slip and the original CNIC or B-Form, reach by 1:30 pm, and check your hall the day before. Centres abroad follow a separate synchronised time.
- Download your HSSC 2nd annual roll number slip from the FBISE portal and check name, photo, centre and paper codes.
- Mark your papers on a printed copy of the date sheet, using the codes on your slip.
- Visit the centre a day early if you have not sat there before.
- Reach the hall by 1:30 pm. The paper starts at 2:00 pm.
- Keep the slip safe until the result. You need the roll number to check it.

Slips were not yet on the portal for HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 when we checked. How to get yours, and what to do if a detail is wrong, is set out under FBISE roll number slip 2026.
The September notice said 28 October, the final date sheet says 12 November
The FBISE fee notification for HSSC 2nd Annual 2026, dated 9 September, gave 28 October as the start. The date sheet issued on 12 October moves the first paper to 12 November. The later, specific document is the one to follow.
We have not seen a separate FBISE notice explaining the change. The date sheet itself says the exam "shall commence with effect from Thursday the 12th November 2026". If you filed FBISE second annual forms expecting an October start, you have about two more weeks to prepare.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the FBISE notification No. F-2(G)/HSSC-TA/2nd AE-2026/41, Date Sheet for Higher Secondary School Certificate 2nd Annual Examination 2026, dated 12 October 2026, from the FBISE date sheet PDF, on 27 October 2026. The table above shortens some minor and Hearing Impaired Candidate papers; the PDF has all of them with their codes. We could not find an FBISE notice explaining why the start moved from 28 October to 12 November, and the HSSC 2nd annual roll number slips were not yet listed on the FBISE portal when we checked.
