FBISE 2nd Annual 2026: Inter Forms Close 30 September, Exams From 28 October

If you still need to sit an FBISE inter paper this year, the last window is open now and it is the expensive one. The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) takes HSSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026 admission forms with triple fee from 27 to 30 September 2026. The papers start on 28 October 2026.

Matric students are already in the hall. The FBISE 2nd Annual 2026 exam for SSC Part I and II began on 24 September and runs to 24 October, with papers every afternoon except Sundays. We read the board's own fee notifications and date sheet on fbise.edu.pk on 27 September 2026, and every date and fee below comes from those documents.

Inter admission forms close on 30 September with triple fee

The normal fee deadline for HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 passed on 21 September and the double fee window closed on 26 September. From 27 to 30 September 2026, regular and ex or private candidates can still apply, but only with triple fee. After 30 September, the notification gives no further window.

The normal fee is Rs 3,000 for HSSC Part I and Rs 3,000 for Part II. Candidates from another board or IBCC who are not registered with FBISE pay Rs 4,700 per part, which includes a one-time Rs 1,700 registration fee.

The notification names the window "triple fee" but does not print the rupee total. Read plainly, that is three times the normal rate, so Rs 9,000 for one part. Your system-generated challan shows the exact amount, and that is the figure to pay.

How to submit the FBISE HSSC 2nd Annual form online

Private and ex candidates apply on the FBISE online admission page, and institutions submit forms for their regular students. The fee must go through the challan the system generates. The board says a challan made any other way will not be accepted.

1. Open the online admission page on fbise.edu.pk and pick HSSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026, for Ex/Private students.
2. Check the data the board already holds for you. Change of subject or group is not allowed after final submission.
3. Upload any document the form asks for, such as an IBCC equivalence certificate for O level students, or an NOC or migration certificate and result card if you passed matric from another board.
4. Print the system-generated challan and pay it at an HBL branch or through Easypaisa or JazzCash.
5. Submit the form. A draft that is not fully submitted is not accepted for the exam.

Candidates from other boards or IBCC who are not registered with FBISE do not use the online form. They send a printed admission form, the paid challan and their documents to the board by post or by hand. If you pay short, the board says it will not process the form until the difference is paid at the current rate.

Who can sit the FBISE 2nd Annual exam

The 2nd Annual exam is for students who missed, skipped or failed a paper in the 1st Annual exam, and for those who want better marks. FBISE also lets fresh candidates appear. A student with a compartment in HSSC-I 1st Annual 2026 is eligible.

• Registered students whose forms were cancelled or not sent for the 1st Annual 2026 exam.
• Registered students who sent a form but were absent in the 1st Annual exam.
• Students who passed and want to improve marks in any paper of Part I, Part II or both.
• Students taking an additional subject on IBCC advice.
• Students who passed HSSC-I in the 1st Annual 2026 exam and want to improve.

One cost trap catches people. If you appear in even one failed or improvement paper of a part, you pay the full fee for that part. In Punjab, the rules for a failed inter paper work differently, as set out under the HSSC second annual failed paper rules for the Punjab boards.

New 50 per cent MCQ pattern starts in this inter exam

From the HSSC 2nd Annual 2026 exam, FBISE uses a new paper pattern at HSSC-I level: 50 per cent multiple choice questions and 50 per cent descriptive questions. It covers Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science, under the Inclusive Scheme of Studies 2024.

The new pattern applies to fresh students taking these subjects for the first time, and to students who cancelled their HSSC-I result. Students re-appearing for improvement or a failed paper in these five subjects keep the old pattern. Check which paper code is on your roll number slip before exam day.

Matric 2nd Annual papers run to 24 October

The SSC 2nd Annual 2026 exam began on Thursday 24 September. Candidates report at 2:00 pm and each paper runs from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Sundays are closed days. The last theory and PBA papers are on 24 October, and other practicals start on 27 October.

The next paper after today's closed day is English-II (Compulsory) on Monday 28 September. Urdu-I is on 1 October, Mathematics-II on 9 October and Mathematics-I on 12 October. PBA means practical based assessment, a short practical paper that the date sheet lists for failure and improvement candidates on set days. The date sheet also says mobile phones and smart watches are strictly banned in the exam centre.

FBISE does not post roll number slips. You download and print your own from the board's slips portal before the exam. Pick your exam, then search by your name and father's name, or by registration number.

The slips portal at portal.fbise.edu.pk already lists SSC-I and SSC-II 2nd Annual 2026. HSSC 2nd Annual slips should appear there closer to 28 October. If your name spelling differs from your form, try your registration number instead.

Results appear on result.fbise.edu.pk and the results section of the same portal. FBISE has not announced a result date for the 2nd Annual 2026 exams yet.
