Gold Rate in Pakistan Today: Rs 436,336 a Tola, Down Rs 4,300 on 3 October
Gold opens 4 October 2026 in Pakistan at Rs 436,336 a tola and Rs 374,087 per 10 grams, after a Rs 4,300 fall on 3 October. See 22K, silver and the week.

The gold rate in Pakistan going into Sunday 4 October 2026 is Rs 436,336 per tola for 24 karat and Rs 374,087 per 10 grams. That is the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association rate set on Saturday 3 October, after a fall of Rs 4,300 a tola.
So treat Rs 436,336 as the rate gold opens with on Sunday, not a new Sunday price. The association sets its rate once a day, usually in the afternoon. Until a fresh session is reported, any site showing a "4 October" figure is showing Saturday's number or a guess.
We could not read the rate at source. The association has no website we could find, the same gap we have noted on every gold report since mid September. Every rate below is the association's figure as reported. We checked that two independent reports agree and that the daily changes add up.
The gold rate in Pakistan is Rs 436,336 a tola going into 4 October
Gold is Rs 436,336 per tola and Rs 374,087 per 10 grams for 24 karat, the association rate set on 3 October 2026. Silver is Rs 6,522 a tola, down Rs 56. International gold was reported at about 4,138 dollars an ounce, down 43.

| Rate | Set on 3 October | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| 24K gold per tola | Rs 436,336, down Rs 4,300 | Association rate, reported |
| 24K gold per 10 grams | Rs 374,087, down Rs 3,687 | Association rate, reported |
| 22K gold per tola | About Rs 399,975 | Our arithmetic, 22 parts in 24 |
| 21K gold per tola | About Rs 381,794 | Our arithmetic, 21 parts in 24 |
| Silver per tola | Rs 6,522, down Rs 56 | Association rate, reported |
| International gold | About 4,138 dollars an ounce, down 43 | Reported |
The 22 and 21 karat figures are simple fractions of the 24 karat rate. The association's own 22 karat figure can differ from that sum by a few rupees, so expect small gaps. A gram of 24 karat works out at about Rs 37,409.

These are metal prices only. A jeweller adds making charges and a margin on top of the rate above. The tola and karat arithmetic behind every rate list is the one we used here.
Gold erased Friday's rise and fell further on Saturday
Gold rose Rs 2,000 a tola on Friday 2 October, then fell Rs 4,300 on Saturday 3 October. That one session wiped out Friday's gain and then some. Saturday's rate is now the lowest we have tracked since at least 16 September.
- 29 September: Rs 437,336 a tola, the lowest rate in our September reports.
- 30 September: up Rs 4,300 to Rs 441,636.
- 1 October: down Rs 3,000 to Rs 438,636, the rate in our 2 October report.
- 2 October: up Rs 2,000 to Rs 440,636, the rate in our 3 October report.
- 3 October: down Rs 4,300 to Rs 436,336, with the ounce falling about 43 dollars.
The 10 gram rate also adds up: Rs 377,774 minus Rs 3,687 is Rs 374,087. Four of the last five sessions moved more than Rs 2,000 a tola in either direction. That is a volatile week, not a calm one.

Gold is Rs 29,800 a tola below its 1 September rate
Gold started September at Rs 466,136 a tola. At Rs 436,336 it is now Rs 29,800 lower, about 6.4 per cent, by our arithmetic. It is also Rs 14,600 below the Rs 450,936 rate of 26 September, a drop of about 3.2 per cent.
| Compared with | Rate then | Change to Rs 436,336 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 September 2026 | Rs 466,136 | Down Rs 29,800, about 6.4 per cent |
| Before the 21 September session | Rs 460,236 | Down Rs 23,900, about 5.2 per cent |
| 26 September | Rs 450,936 | Down Rs 14,600, about 3.2 per cent |
| 29 September, the previous low | Rs 437,336 | Down Rs 1,000 |
| 2 October | Rs 440,636 | Down Rs 4,300 |
Gold has now closed lower than the previous session on three of the last five days. A buyer who has been waiting through September has not missed a one way move. A seller holding out for the 1 September price is further from it than a week ago.
A weaker ounce price drove Saturday's fall, not the rupee
The Pakistani rate follows the international ounce price turned into rupees per tola. The ounce fell from about 4,181 dollars on 2 October to about 4,138 on 3 October, and the local rate fell with it. The rupee figure behind the rate stayed close to Rs 281.
A tola is 0.375 of an ounce. At 4,138 dollars, a tola of gold is worth about 1,552 dollars. Divide Rs 436,336 by that and you get about Rs 281 per dollar, the same figure we found on 26 September, 2 October and 3 October.

That Rs 281 is our own sum, not an exchange rate you can trade at. It only shows that the local rate is tracking the ounce closely. A move of 43 dollars an ounce is worth roughly Rs 4,530 a tola at this rupee rate, close to Saturday's Rs 4,300 fall.
Buyers should wait for Sunday's rate and compare making charges
If you are buying on Sunday, ask the shop which day's rate it is using. Before a fresh session is reported, a fair answer is Saturday's Rs 436,336. After a new session, it should be Sunday's rate, which may be higher or lower.
- Note the association rate and the date it was set.
- Ask for the gold rate and the making charge as two separate figures.
- Check the karat stamp. 916 means 22 karat and 875 means 21 karat.
- Get the weight, karat, rate and making charge written on the receipt.
- If you are selling, ask for the shop's buying rate first. It is lower than the association rate.
The receipt also matters for tax. The sales tax on gold jewellery is 3 per cent of the sale value, and a proper bill shows what you paid. Rate websites can show old numbers under today's date, and in August we found three different prices within minutes. Rs 436,336 is well short of a record: gold was Rs 466,136 on 1 September and has fallen in four of the last five weeks.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked at about 1:45pm PKT on 3 October 2026, after Saturday's session. Gold rates change every session, so check the day's rate before you buy or sell.
We could not read the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association rate at source, because we found no website for it. The 3 October tola, 10 gram, silver and ounce figures are the association's figures as reported that day, and two independent reports agree on each to the rupee. The 29 September to 2 October and 1 September rates are from our earlier reports. The 22 and 21 karat rates, the per gram rate, the changes over the week and month and the implied rupee per dollar figure are our own arithmetic.
