HEC USAT and HAT December 2026 Test Date: Register 8 to 22 November, Test 13 December (Every ETC Test Listed)

The next HEC USAT and HAT are on Sunday 13 December 2026, and registration on etc.hec.gov.pk runs from Sunday 8 November to Sunday 22 November 2026. Roll number slips come on Friday 4 December and the result on Thursday 31 December. This is the last USAT and HAT sitting of 2026, so a student who misses 22 November waits for the 2027 calendar.

Below are the December dates for USAT, HAT, LAT and Law-GAT side by side, how to register without being rejected, and who should sit in December at all.

Every ETC test date for November and December 2026

Four ETC tests still have a 2026 sitting. USAT and HAT share one timetable ending with the 13 December test. LAT is on 15 November and Law-GAT on 20 December. All dates below are from ETC's revised calendar.

The calendar gives dates, not times. ETC's HAT advertisement for October set the deadline at 24:00 hours on the last day, so treat 22 November as midnight unless the December notice says otherwise. Treat every date as tentative until ETC posts the advertisement, which the calendar puts on 8 November.

Who should sit the 13 December USAT or HAT

Sit in December if you missed October, if your October answer key count looks weak, or if a university's spring 2027 deadline needs a score. The October result arrives on 16 November, before registration closes, so you can decide with your real score.

That gap is narrow. The 25 October result is due on 16 November and registration ends on 22 November, leaving six days. Our USAT result 2026 check and HAT result 2026 check pages explain how to read the score the moment it posts.

Commonwealth applicants, note one thing. HEC's Commonwealth notice says the 25 October HAT was the last test for the 2027 programme, and any test after that date counts for the next year's batch. So the December HAT will not help a 2027 Commonwealth application.

How to register for the December USAT or HAT

Registration is online only, at etc.hec.gov.pk, with your own CNIC. ETC's advertisements set the order: create or open your account, fill the form, pay by 1Bill, verify the payment and press Submit. A saved form is not an application.

1. Sign in at etc.hec.gov.pk with your CNIC and password, or sign up if you are new.
2. Choose USAT or HAT and pick your category carefully. ETC says a HAT category cannot be changed after submission.
3. Check that your name and CNIC number match your CNIC card exactly.
4. Choose your test city from the list in the form.
5. Pay the fee through 1Link 1Bill with the consumer number the portal generates.
6. Click Verify Online Payment on the ETC dashboard.
7. Press Submit, then download your application for your record.

ETC did not print the fee amount on the advertisements we read. The portal shows it on the 1Bill invoice. The fee is non refundable and non transferable, so pick the right test and category before you pay. Lost your password? Our ETC portal password reset page has every screen.

Pick the right USAT or HAT category before you pay

USAT has six categories that follow your intermediate group. HAT has five that follow your 16 year degree. A wrong category wastes the fee, because ETC does not let you change it after you submit.

Test day rules for the 13 December sitting

Bring a printout of your roll number slip and your original CNIC or passport. ETC says phones and electronic devices are not allowed, and a photocopy or a CNIC on a phone screen is not accepted. Arrive well before the reporting time on your slip.

Slips go up on etc.hec.gov.pk and by email about a week before the test, which for December means 4 December. ETC may move you to another centre if fewer than 250 candidates pick your city. Taking or sharing pictures of the question booklet is an offence under ETC policy. Students under 18 need a NADRA Juvenile Card, explained in our page on the Juvenile Card for HEC tests.

Can I change my HAT category after submitting?
