HEC USAT Result 2026: Check by CNIC on the ETC Portal, Due 16 November (All 6 Categories)

The HEC USAT result for the test held on Sunday 25 October 2026 is due on 16 November 2026, and you will check it by signing in at etc.hec.gov.pk with your CNIC and the password you used to register. There is no SMS code and no roll number search page. The score sits inside your own Education Testing Council (ETC) account, the same place your roll number slip came from.

Below is the result date, the exact sign-in steps, what to do if the portal refuses your password, how to mark your own paper with the answer keys while you wait, and the next USAT sitting if you want a better score.

The USAT result is due on 16 November 2026

The revised ETC Test Calendar lists 16 November 2026 as the result announcement date for the fourth USAT sitting, the one held on 25 October. The calendar prints the day as Friday, but 16 November 2026 is a Monday, so watch for the result from that week.

On 31 October 2026 the ETC announcements page still showed USAT under roll number slips and upcoming tests. It had not posted a result. When it does, the page usually adds a line such as "Result Announced" with a link to the portal login, as it did for the August HAT and the September LAT.

How to check your USAT result by CNIC, step by step

You sign in to the same ETC account you registered with. The username is your CNIC and the password is the one you set at signup. Your result appears against the USAT entry on your dashboard.

1. Open etc.hec.gov.pk. If a box called Important Instructions for Candidates appears, read it and press I Understand.
2. Type your CNIC without dashes in the username box and enter your password.
3. Open the USAT entry for the 25 October 2026 test on your dashboard.
4. Note your score and your test category, for example USAT-E or USAT-M.
5. Download or screenshot the result page. Universities ask for it with your application.

Use only the address etc.hec.gov.pk. HEC has warned about a fake site copying its attestation portal, and the same trick is used on students during results week. HEC says it does not phone people for payments or personal information, and that warning is set out on our page about the real HEC portal and the fake site.

If the ETC portal will not let you sign in, reset the password

Most result day failures are forgotten passwords. ETC has published its own reset guide: press Forgot your password, get a 5 digit code by email from etc@hec.gov.pk, and set a new password before the timer runs out.

The code goes to the email you used at signup, so check spam first. If the confirm box shows a red border, the two passwords do not match. After the reset, sign in with your CNIC, not your email. If the reset email never arrives, raise a ticket on HEC's ticket system at onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk or call the ETC helpline on 051-111-119-432 or 0334-111-9432. Both numbers are printed on ETC's test advertisements.

You can mark your own paper now with the answer keys

HEC has posted USAT answer keys for all six categories and all five booklet colours. Match your booklet colour, count your correct answers in the 75 MCQs, and you have a fair idea of Part I before the official result.

The six USAT streams are Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science, General Science, Commerce, and Arts and Humanities. Each Part I paper has 75 MCQs in 100 minutes, and Part II has two short essays. Your own count will not include the essays, so the official score can differ. The next USAT is on 13 December 2026 if you want a better score

The fifth and last USAT sitting of 2026 is on Sunday 13 December. ETC's calendar opens it on 8 November and closes registration on 22 November, with slips on 4 December and the result on 31 December 2026.

That timing matters. Registration for December closes before or around your 25 October result arrives, so if you think you did badly, decide by 22 November. The full timetable and the fee payment route are in our page on USAT and HAT December 2026 registration.

What to do with your USAT score after the result

Download the result page, keep a PDF and a printout, and send it with each university application that asks for a USAT score. HEC's own pages do not publish a single pass mark for USAT, so the cut off is whatever each university sets.

Read the admission notice of each university before you assume a score is enough. Some ask for USAT, some run their own test, and some accept either. Also check that the university and its campus are recognised, because a degree from an unrecognised campus will not be attested later. Our check of whether a university is HEC recognised shows how.

When will the USAT result 2026 come out?

ETC's calendar lists 16 November 2026 for the 25 October test. It labels the day Friday, but the date is a Monday.

Can I check my USAT result by roll number?

No public roll number search exists. You sign in at etc.hec.gov.pk with your CNIC and password and read the result on your dashboard.

Will HEC send my USAT result by SMS?

ETC's notices mention email and SMS for roll number slips, not for results. Do not wait for a message. Sign in to check.

What is the passing score in USAT?

HEC has not published a single pass mark for USAT on the pages we read. Each university sets its own minimum, so read its admission notice.

I forgot my ETC password. Can I still see my result?

Yes. Use Forgot your password on the sign-in screen, enter the 5 digit code sent to your email, and set a new password.

Can I take USAT again in December?

Yes. The next sitting is on 13 December 2026. Registration runs from 8 to 22 November 2026 on the ETC portal.
