The Cup final is Australia vs Afghanistan at 12:10 pm PKT

Match 25, the Cup final, is Australia v Afghanistan from 3:10 pm to 4:05 pm Hong Kong time on Sunday. That is 12:10 pm to 1:05 pm PKT. Prize distribution follows at 4:40 pm in Hong Kong, or 1:40 pm PKT.

Australia beat the UAE by 53 runs in the first Cup semi-final

Australia made 141 for 3 in 6 overs after batting first. Max Bryant hit 60 off 15 balls and Nick Hobson 53 off 11. The UAE innings ended on 88 for 6 in 5.3 overs.

Bryant and Jack Wood opened with 62. Bryant then added 71 with Hobson. Bryant hit 6 sixes and 4 fours, and Hobson the same. Chris Green and Alex Ross took two wickets each for Australia, with one each for Bryant and Wood.

The UAE had earned their place by winning Group C, ahead of Pakistan. They beat India by 6 wickets on Saturday morning, chasing 95 in 4.2 overs without losing a wicket.

Afghanistan beat Scotland by 21 runs in the second semi-final

Afghanistan made 121 for 4, led by captain Gulbadin Naib's 51 not out off 16 balls. Scotland reached 100 for 3. Jack Jarvis scored 54 not out off 17 for Scotland before he retired.

Karim Janat gave Afghanistan a fast start with 37 off 9, and Sediqullah Pacha added 27 not out off 9. Gulbadin and Karim took a wicket each. Afghanistan had already beaten Oman by 6 wickets on Saturday morning, chasing 121 in 5.2 overs with Pacha on 45 not out off 10.

Every Saturday result we could confirm

The organisers' report gives scores for nine of Saturday's ten matches. The early game, England against Australia, is not described. Australia still finished top of Group A, because they played the Cup semi-final as group winners.

The most dramatic game was the Bowl semi-final. Bangladesh made 129 for 4, with Habibur Rahman's 60 off 14 and a fourth over in which Blake Simpson went for 36, six sixes in a row. South Africa needed 21 off the last over, and van Schalkwyk got them with three sixes and a four.

One figure does not match inside the report. India's Rahul Tripathi is listed with 54 off 12 in the summary, but the match text gives 56 off 14 in the Bowl semi-final. We could not open a scorecard to settle it.

Sunday decides all 12 places

Every team plays once more on Sunday. The Cup final decides the champion and runner-up. The play-offs and the Plate and Bowl finals decide places 3 to 12. Pakistan can finish no higher than fifth.
