IIUI Admission Spring 2027: Last Date 15 December, Rs 2,000 for Five Programmes (Merit Formula and Refund Rules)

IIUI admission for Spring 2027 follows the university's fixed spring window: online forms from the first week of November to 15 December, with classes from the first working day of February 2027. You apply at admission.iiu.edu.pk and pay one Rs 2,000 processing fee that covers up to five degree programmes. On 31 October 2026 the spring advertisement itself was not yet up, so watch the portal from 1 November.

IIUI Spring 2027 forms run from early November to 15 December

IIUI publishes a general admission schedule with two windows a year. The spring window runs from the first week of November to 15 December, and spring classes start on the first working day of February. Spring 2027 should follow that pattern.

Other Islamabad universities publish their own spring calendars, such as the one in our page on NUML admission for Spring 2027. Test, interview and merit list dates are not on IIUI's general schedule. IIUI posts them per faculty after the advertisement. The Spring semester itself runs from February to June under IIUI's academic rules.

One Rs 2,000 fee lets you apply to five programmes

IIUI's portal says the admission processing fee is Rs 2,000, non refundable and non adjustable. One payment allows an applicant to apply for a maximum of five degree programmes. Foreign applicants pay USD 50 or the rupee equivalent by SWIFT.

That five programme rule is worth using. If you are borderline for BS Computer Science, add two or three programmes with lower cut offs in the same form, at no extra cost. A sixth choice needs a second fee.

2. Sign up on admission.iiu.edu.pk with your name, email, CNIC or B-Form and a password.
3. Select your level, such as BS, MS or PhD, and fill the form.
4. Download the Rs 2,000 challan and pay it at a designated bank branch.
5. Upload the paid challan to complete the application.
6. Choose up to five programmes before you submit.

IIUI merit formula for BS, LLB, MS and PhD

IIUI uses different formulas by level. Most BS programmes are merit on marks alone: 40 per cent SSC and 60 per cent HSSC. LLB adds a 60 per cent weight test, and MS and PhD need a test score of 50 and 60 per cent.

A quick example of the BS formula, our arithmetic: a student with 80 per cent in matric and 70 per cent in FSc scores 32 plus 42, an aggregate of 74. Result awaited? You can apply for BS, not for MS or PhD

IIUI accepts undergraduate applicants who have already sat their exams and await results. Their merit is worked out on 60 per cent of the actual Part I marks. They get provisional admission and must submit the result within 15 days of the semester starting.

The undertaking is strict. If the result misses the required marks, IIUI says the admission is cancelled at once. MS, LLM and PhD forms are not accepted on a result awaited basis at all, and IIUI says admission to MS and PhD is not allowed on a hope certificate.

Students for the Faculties of Islamic Studies (Usuluddin) and Shariah and Law also sit an Arabic and English level test. Those who fall short start with a language programme before the regular degree.

IIUI refunds tuition only on HEC's sliding scale

IIUI's portal sets the tuition refund by days after classes begin, weekends included: 100 per cent up to day 10, 80 per cent to day 15, 60 per cent to day 20, 50 per cent to day 30, and nothing from day 31. The Rs 2,000 processing fee is never refunded.
