In an emergency in Islamabad, dial 15. For a complaint against Islamabad Police, dial 1715; for the women's helpline, 1815; for traffic, 1915. Every police station's own landline is in the table below, all 27 of them, as Islamabad Police list them on their website.
A station number is what you need when the matter is not an emergency. You may want to ask whether your FIR is ready, find out if an officer is on duty, or check that a relative brought in last night is there. We copied every number from the Islamabad Police contact page on 31 October 2026. Four stations have no number listed, and two numbers look wrong. Both problems are marked below.
Islamabad Police helplines: 15, 1715, 1815 and 1915
Islamabad Police list four short codes. Dial 15 for emergencies, 1715 for the IGP complaint cell, 1815 for the online women helpline, and 1915 for traffic. A WhatsApp live chat on 0332-6001069 and a general inquiry line, 051-9259370, are also listed.

Note on Koral: the website gives Koral police station the same number as the Women Police Station, 051-9252517. One of the two entries is probably a copying error. If you need Koral, try the number and ask, or call the Rural zone office instead.
Zone offices handle matters a station will not settle
Each police station sits under a Superintendent of Police (SP) zone. If a station does not answer or does not act, the SP office for that zone is the next number to call, before you move to a formal 1715 complaint.

The SP Soan and SP Rural offices share one number on the website, 051-2326115. That may be a shared exchange or another copying slip. Ask which office has answered before you explain your matter.
What to do when a station number does not answer
Station landlines are busy at night and some ring out. If nobody answers, do not wait. Use the next line in this order, and keep a note of each call's time.
- For an emergency, call 15 straight away. Do not try the station first.
- Call the station number twice, five minutes apart.
- Call the zone SP office for that area from the table above.
- Send the details on WhatsApp to 0332-6001069 so there is a written record.
- If the station still does not act, complain to the IGP cell on 1715 and note the complaint number.
For services such as character certificates, tenant registration or a lost report, a station is not the right place. Those are handled at a Police Khidmat Markaz in Islamabad, and two of those centres are open 24 hours.
Beware of calls claiming to be from a police station
Fraudsters in Pakistan often call people claiming to be police officers and ask for money to settle a case. A real police station will not ask you to send money by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer. If someone calls you this way, hang up and call the station back on the number in this list. A number shown on your screen can be faked, so call back yourself instead of trusting it.
