Short answer: Islamabad Police lists 11 Police Khidmat Markaz centres. Two are open 24 hours, PKM Cascade in the Diplomatic Enclave and PKM F-6 near Super Market. Pakistan Asaan Markaz in G-9 runs 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The other eight open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

It is 6:30 pm and you need a lost report for your CNIC. Most counters are shut. Two are not. Knowing which ones saves a wasted trip across the city.

We read the Islamabad Capital Territory Police service pages on 13 October 2026. The list below is copied from the Police Khidmat Markaz table on those pages. A Police Khidmat Markaz is a police service centre where you apply for documents instead of going to a police station.

Two centres never close

PKM Cascade, on Isfahani Road in the Diplomatic Enclave, and PKM F-6, near Super Market, are listed as open 24 hours. Both offer the widest range, including driving licence work, character certificates, tenant registration and lost reports. F-6 also offers vehicle verification and copies of FIRs.

For a night or weekend need, these are the two to try first. Phone before you go. The listed numbers are 051-9259022 for Cascade and 051-9201522 for F-6. Opening hours on the page may not match staff on a given night, and we did not test that.

Nine more centres keep office hours

Nine more centres are on the list. Eight run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Pakistan Asaan Markaz in G-9 runs from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. All offer character certificates, tenant registration, foreigner registration and lost reports.

What each centre can do for you

Every listed centre handles character certificates, tenant registration, foreigner registration and lost or missing reports. Driving licence work varies. Only the larger centres do driving tests, international driving permits, vehicle verification and FIR copies.

  1. For a lost CNIC, licence or car papers, see the steps in the guide to an Islamabad Police lost report.
  2. For a certificate for visa or work, use the page on the police character certificate in Islamabad.
  3. For a tenant, follow tenant registration with Islamabad Police.
  4. For a foreign guest or worker, check the rules for registering a foreigner with Islamabad Police.

Use the helplines when a centre cannot help

Islamabad Police lists four numbers on its pages: 15 for emergencies, 1715 for the IGP complaint cell, 1815 for the online women police station and 1915 for the traffic helpline. A service centre is not the place for an emergency. Call 15.

Islamabad Police helpline numbers 15, 1715, 1815 and 1915

If a counter refuses a service that the page lists, you can complain through the IGP cell or the Islamabad Police online complaint route. Keep your receipt and the time of your visit. Note the name of the centre, because a clear complaint is easier to act on.

A practical rule helps here. Go to a 24 hour centre for anything urgent at night or on a weekend. Use the centre nearest your home for routine work such as a tenant form, because the clerks there handle the same forms as the big centres. Bring your original CNIC every time, and a photocopy of it, since most services ask for both.

The page does not give a fee for each service at each centre. Fees are set per service, so check the fee on the page for that service, such as the one in the guide to the character certificate, before you leave home.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 13 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read the centre table on Islamabad Police's character certificate page and the home page. The table has no revision date. We did not visit any centre, so we could not confirm that the 24 hour counters are staffed at night. Addresses for several centres are short on the page, for example G-14 and Bani Gala.
