JazzCash Business Account for Shops in Pakistan: Free to Open, 0.25% Fee on Raast QR
A JazzCash Business account is free to open with a CNIC. Raast QR sales cost the shop 0.25%, bank transfers 2% and payment links 3%. See every fee and step.

Short answer: a JazzCash Business account is free to open with your CNIC, and a customer paying you by Raast QR costs your shop 0.25% of the sale, including tax. On Rs 100,000 of QR sales a month that is Rs 250. Other ways of getting paid into the same account cost 0.75% to 3%.
Those rates come from the JazzCash Business section of the October to December 2026 schedule of charges, which Mobilink Microfinance Bank issued on 1 October 2026. We read it, and JazzCash's own business pages, on 20 October 2026.
The JazzCash Business account is meant for small shops, kiryana stores and home businesses that want card and QR payments without a bank branch visit. The fee you pay depends almost entirely on how the customer pays. That is the part most shopkeepers never check.
A JazzCash Business account is free to open with a CNIC
Any Pakistani with a valid CNIC who runs a business can apply in the JazzCash Business app. Registration, maintenance, SMS alerts and statements are free. You can keep a personal JazzCash wallet and a business account on the same CNIC.
JazzCash's business page says basic onboarding "takes only a few minutes", with final approval subject to verification checks. A CNIC is mandatory and more documents "may be required depending on business type". The page does not list those extra documents, so expect a request if you register a company rather than a sole shop.
Once the account is approved, the app generates a Raast QR for you. No machine is needed. A printed or on-screen QR is enough, and the page says the account also supports a Till ID for customers who pay without scanning.
Raast QR payments cost the shop 0.25% of each sale
The schedule lists the standard merchant discount rate, or MDR, on Raast QR and Till payments at 0.25% including federal excise duty. MDR is the cut the provider keeps from each sale. The customer pays nothing, because Raast QR payments are free for consumers.

Raast is the State Bank of Pakistan's instant payment system. A customer can scan your QR from any bank app or wallet that supports Raast, and the money lands in your account in real time. How customers do it is covered in paying a shop with Raast QR.
| How the customer pays you | Fee to the shop, October to December 2026 |
|---|---|
| Raast QR or Till ID | 0.25% including FED |
| Customer to merchant in the JazzCash account | 0.75% |
| Raast Request to Pay | 1% including FED |
| Incoming bank transfer (IBFT) | 2% including FED |
| Funds received from a JazzCash account | 2% including FED |
| Tap on Phone card payment | 2% |
| Other QR or Till payments | Up to 2.5% including FED |
| Pay via link | 3% |
Other ways of getting paid cost 0.75% to 3%
Every other payment route costs more than Raast QR. A bank transfer into your business account costs 2%, Tap on Phone card payments cost 2% and a payment link costs 3%. On the same Rs 100,000 of sales, that is Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000.

Our arithmetic on Rs 100,000 of monthly sales: Raast QR Rs 250, customer to merchant Rs 750, Request to Pay Rs 1,000, a bank transfer Rs 2,000, Tap on Phone Rs 2,000 and a payment link Rs 3,000. The cheapest habit is simple. Point customers at the Raast QR rather than giving out an account number.
Tap on Phone turns an NFC Android phone into a card machine, with no monthly subscription fee. The schedule adds one useful rule: refund a card payment on the same day and the MDR is not charged, refund it on a later day and it is. The schedule does not say whether a JazzCash customer scanning your Raast QR is billed at 0.25% or at the 2% wallet rate, and we could not test it.
Moving money out is free up to Rs 50,000 a month
Sending money from the business account to any bank is free up to Rs 50,000 a month. After that each transfer costs 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is less, plus a Rs 1.55 processing fee. Transfers to another JazzCash account and agent cash withdrawals are free.
| Business account service | Fee |
|---|---|
| Registration and maintenance | Free |
| Send to another JazzCash account | Free |
| Send to a bank account | Free to Rs 50,000 a month, then 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is less |
| Cash deposit at an agent | 0.50% |
| Cash withdrawal at an agent | Free |
| Pull money in from a debit or credit card | 3% |
| App or USSD platform fee | Rs 1 per transaction |
| Mastercard debit card for merchants | Rs 799 issue, no annual fee |
The business Rs 50,000 free limit is double the Rs 25,000 a month on a personal wallet, compared in JazzCash and Easypaisa charges. Instant loans for merchants cost 1% a day for up to 28 days, a maximum of 28% per loan. That is expensive money, so treat it as a last resort.
Open the account and print your QR in six steps
Download the JazzCash Business app, register with your CNIC, pass verification, then share or print the Raast QR the app generates. Settlement into the account is in real time, and your fee for each Raast QR sale is 0.25%.
- Install the JazzCash Business app on the phone that will receive payments.
- Enter your mobile number and CNIC number with its issue date, and complete the verification asked for.
- Wait for approval. JazzCash says final approval depends on verification checks.
- Open the Raast QR section once the account is active and save or print the QR.
- Display the QR at the counter and test it with a small payment from another bank app.
- Check the fee shown in the app before relying on it, since JazzCash says fees are disclosed in the app and may be lower.
If you would rather keep payments in a bank account, banks offer the same Raast P2M QR through a branch. That route is set out in registering a shop for Raast QR.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the JazzCash Business (Merchant) Application section of Mobilink Microfinance Bank's branchless schedule of charges, Inst Circular/42/2026 dated 1 October 2026 and valid to 31 December 2026, on JazzCash's schedule of charges page on 20 October 2026. The schedule is scanned, so we read it page by page. We also read JazzCash's business account registration page and its Raast QR and Tap on Phone pages the same day. We did not open a business account, so we could not see the in-app fee screens or confirm which rate applies when a JazzCash customer scans a Raast QR.
