Kuwait Visa Check Online by Visa Number: MOI Status, Every Error Message, Fines and Medical Result

To check a Kuwait visa online, use the Ministry of Interior (MOI) Kuwait e-services: enter your visa number on the Visa Fees page and it shows the name, visa type, issue date, expiry date, nationality, occupation and sponsor on that visa, or an error if the visa is not registered. The same MOI residency section also tracks e-visa applications, immigration fines and your medical test result.
Pakistani workers going to Kuwait usually get a visa copy by WhatsApp from an agent or employer. Checking it on the MOI site before you pay anyone or book a flight is the quickest way to spot a fake. We read the MOI Kuwait residency e-services pages on 1 November 2026, including the visa fees, fines and health check forms. Here is each check, what it needs and what the results mean.
The MOI Visa Fees page confirms a visa by its number
The Visa Fees page on moi.gov.kw asks for one thing: the visa number, up to 9 digits. Press Enquire. A valid visa shows the holder's name, visa type, issued date, expiry date, nationality, occupation and sponsor, plus any fee due in Kuwaiti dinars.

The occupation line is the one to read twice. If you were promised a driver's job and the visa says labourer, your iqama will say labourer too. Raise it before you fly, not after.
Check your Kuwait visa in 5 steps
The check is free and needs no login. You only need the visa number from your visa copy. Use the official site, moi.gov.kw, and never a link sent by an agent, because lookalike pages can show whatever the sender wants.
- Open moi.gov.kw, go to E-Services, then the General Department of Residency.
- Switch the page to English if needed, then open Pay Fees and choose Visa Fees.
- Type the visa number exactly as printed on your visa copy.
- Press Enquire and wait for the result.
- Compare every field with your passport and job offer, and take a screenshot.
Do not press Pay unless you mean to pay a fee you owe. The page is a payment page as well as a check. If the result says fees are already paid, there is nothing to pay.
Five set replies tell you what is wrong
The MOI form's code has five set replies besides a normal result. "Visa not Registered in MOI System" is the serious one: the number does not exist in Kuwait's records. The others cover a visa for another person, an expired visa, fees already paid and nationalities that pay no fee.

On screen, the first three replies may simply show as "Invalid entry", and a paid visa shows "Visa fees paid". An invalid result is not proof of fraud on its own. A typo gives the same answer, so try once more carefully. If it repeats, stop paying the agent and ask the sponsor in Kuwait for a fresh copy. Pakistan's Protector of Emigrants process also checks work visas before departure, which is one more reason not to skip it.
Track an e-visa, fines and your medical result on the same site
The MOI residency section lists more checks. Visa Application Status tracks an e-visa you applied for. Immigration Fines looks up fines by Civil ID or visa number. Health Check Status shows whether your medical test result is ready, using a reference number.
- Visa Application Status: for e-visas applied through kuwaitvisa.moi.gov.kw. The status page needs a full browser with JavaScript.
- Immigration Fines: choose Civil ID, which is 12 digits, or Visa Number, 6 to 9 digits, then press Enquire. You can pay fines online from the result.
- Health Check Status: enter the reference number from your medical test in Kuwait to see if the result is ready.
- Latin Name Update and Passport Info Update: for correcting the English spelling of your name or moving your record to a new passport.
The passport update matters for Pakistanis who renew a passport while working in Kuwait. Your residency stays linked to the old passport number until it is moved. The NICOP renewal in Kuwait is a separate Pakistani process at the Embassy.
Call Residency Affairs on 25582960 if the check fails
MOI lists two numbers for the General Department of Residency: 25582960 and 25582961. From Pakistan, add Kuwait's code, +965. For police, ambulance and fire inside Kuwait, MOI lists 112.
