MEPCO has approved planned power cuts on 53 feeders between 8 and 17 November 2026, in Multan, Sahiwal, Taunsa, Vehari, Mian Channu, Ali Pur and nearby areas. Most cuts start at 7:30 or 8 am and end by about 1 pm. The Kameer grid has the longest, until 3:30 pm on 17 November.
Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) posted the approvals on its Electricity Shutdown page. We opened the letters dated 4, 5 and 6 November 2026 and copied every feeder that still has a date on or after 8 November. Monday 9 November is Iqbal Day, and the letters still list cuts that day.
Sahiwal has the most feeders in this schedule
Sahiwal has 15 feeders in these letters, all with a single day of cuts on 10 or 11 November. Multan Cantt has 10 feeders with up to five days of cuts. Find your feeder name on your bill, then check the tables below.

The Sahiwal-III cut is for new steel structures and a new independent feeder for a housing scheme on Old Harappa Road. The Kameer work is for two newly built line bays, and the letter names the Arifwala operation division. The scheme's name and letter details are on MEPCO's page.

Multan Cantt feeders lose power on up to five days
Ten feeders on the 132 kV Mesco grid in Multan Cantt are off from 9 am to 1 pm. Eight of them are off on five days and two on two days. Other Multan area feeders have cuts on 11 November only.
| Grid station | Feeders | Dates left | Hours |

| 132 kV Lar | Lar City, Air University | 11 Nov | 8:30 am to 12:30 pm |
Cardiology and Children Complex are hospital area feeders by name, so patients' families should plan around those hours. MEPCO says the work includes road widening on the Multan to Vehari road and poles for a Punjab Mass Transit bus depot.
Taunsa and Vehari have the longest run of days
Taunsa's three feeders and Vehari's two feeders each lose power on seven days between 8 and 15 November, from 8 am to 1 pm. Ali Pur and Dammar Wala cuts run 7:30 am to 1:30 pm on alternate days.

| 132 kV Lodhran | Colony | 11, 14 Nov | 7:30 to 11:30 am |
The Taunsa cuts are for poles and new lines for National Highway Authority road widening. MEPCO's letter says Lodhran work is part of the Lodhran to Multan section of the N-5 and the flyovers on the Lodhran bypass.
These are planned cuts, separate from load shedding
A shutdown is a planned cut for line work, and it lasts for set hours on set days. Load shedding is a regular daily cut based on a feeder's losses. The letters tell grid staff to apply a revised load shedding programme alongside these cuts.
Each letter also tells the area office to warn the public through newspapers and mosque loudspeakers, and to warn key consumers in writing. The letters ask staff to load the changes into the Roshan Pakistan app and to inform PITC, the Power Information Technology Company. You can check a single feeder on PITC's load shedding portal. The daily pattern for this company is in MEPCO's load shedding schedule.
- Read the feeder name printed on your electricity bill.
- Find it in the tables above, or in the files on MEPCO's page.
- Note the date and the end time.
- Charge phones and fill your water tank before the cut.
- If power stays off well after the end time, register a complaint.

What to do if power does not come back on time
Call MEPCO's 118 helpline or use its complaint channels if supply stays off past the end time. The letters order that the timings be kept strictly and that supply be restored on schedule, so an overrun is a fair complaint.
Numbers for each circle are in MEPCO's complaint numbers. Earlier files for October and November are listed in the October and November schedule. NEPRA's limits on planned cuts are in the planned power cut limit.
Common questions
Is there a MEPCO shutdown on 9 November 2026?
Yes, for some feeders. Taunsa, Vehari and Ali Pur feeders are listed for 9 November in the letters we read, even though it is Iqbal Day.
How long is the longest cut in this schedule?
Eight hours, on the nine Kameer grid feeders, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on 17 November 2026.
How do I find my MEPCO feeder name?
It is printed on your electricity bill. If you only know your reference number, PITC's portal shows the feeder for that number.
Are all MEPCO shutdowns on this page?
No. MEPCO posts more files, including a November file for Rahim Yar Khan transmission lines. Check MEPCO's Electricity Shutdown page if your feeder is not here.
Can MEPCO change these dates?
Yes. Work can move because of weather or field conditions, so treat the dates as the plan on the day we read them.
What we read
We read MEPCO's Electricity Shutdown page on 7 November 2026 and four scanned approval letters from it. Feeder names are tidied from the scans. We did not read the Rahim Yar Khan file or every older notice, so this page is not MEPCO's complete list.
