NADRA Jobs 2026: 15 Posts Open, Apply Through PakID by 4 October
NADRA jobs 2026: 15 adverts open on careers.nadra.gov.pk. Posts, age limits, Rs 40,000 Scanning Operator pay, last dates and how to apply with a PakID account.

NADRA has 15 job adverts open on its careers portal, careers.nadra.gov.pk. They include Scanning Operator posts in five regions at a base salary of Rs 40,000 a month, female Data Entry Operator posts in 32 tehsils, and IT officer posts in Islamabad and Quetta. Most close on 4 October 2026. The Scanning Operator posts close on 11 October.
You apply only online, and only after you sign in with a verified Pak Identity (PakID) account. Set that up today. We read every open advert on NADRA's own portal on 2 October 2026. The details below come from those adverts, not from job boards or forwarded images.

NADRA jobs open now and their last dates
NADRA's portal listed 15 open adverts on 2 October 2026. They fall into four groups: Scanning Operators, female Data Entry Operators, IT officers at headquarters, and one officer post at NADRA Technologies Limited. Each group has its own age limit and closing date.
| Post | Where | Minimum education | Maximum age | Last date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scanning Operator (project based, 5 adverts) | Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Faisalabad (Sargodha region), Sukkur | Intermediate | 25 | 11 October 2026 |
| Junior Executive, Data Entry Operator, female only (2 adverts) | 26 posts in Sargodha region, 6 in Sukkur region | Intermediate | 25 | 4 October 2026 |
| Deputy Assistant Director (System Administrator, Network Engineer Core, VAS Operations, Junior Infrastructure Engineer, Junior DevOps Engineer) | NADRA Headquarters, Islamabad | 16 years in CS, IT, software or computer engineering | 30 | 4 October 2026 |
| Assistant Director (Governance, Risk Assessment and Compliance, 2 adverts) | Islamabad and Quetta | 4 year bachelor's in CS, IT or cyber security | 37 | 4 October 2026 |
| Monitoring and Compliance Officer, NTL | Across Pakistan | Master's or 4 year bachelor's, plus 10 years' experience | 55 | 6 October 2026 |
Every age limit above already includes NADRA's 5 year general relaxation. The adverts say no further relaxation will be given. So if you are 26, the Scanning Operator post is closed to you, whatever your circumstances.
The Scanning Operator posts pay Rs 40,000 a month
The Scanning Operator adverts are the largest group for people with only an Intermediate. They pay a base salary of Rs 40,000 a month plus an incentive per scanned form. They are three month contracts, with a target of at least 400 pages a day.
The work is archiving old NADRA records. The project runs three shifts, morning, evening and night, six days a week, and you must accept any shift. The contract is for 90 days and can be extended. NADRA says the incentive per form will be set by the Authority, so the advert does not give the amount.
The adverts also say these posts are temporary and give no right to a regular or contract job at NADRA later. Your services end automatically when the project ends.
Residence decides who can apply. Only residents of the named city, by CNIC or domicile, will be called for interview. Sukkur limits it to residents of Sukkur Tehsil, and the Sargodha region post sits at the Mega Centre in Faisalabad, for residents of Faisalabad.

Female Data Entry Operator posts are tehsil by tehsil
NADRA is hiring 32 female Junior Executives, Data Entry Operators, at named NADRA Registration Centres. You must be a female resident of that tehsil, by CNIC or domicile. You need an Intermediate, with one year of relevant experience preferred. Applications close on 4 October 2026.
In the Sargodha region the 26 posts are spread across Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Hafizabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab and Bhakkar districts. Most centres have one post. Ahmed Nagar in Chiniot and the CFSC centre in Sargodha have two each. In the Sukkur region the six posts are at Madeji (Garhi Yasin), Salehpat, Moro, Thul, Sakrand and Pir Jo Goth.
These posts carry a six month probation. Selected candidates must give a medical fitness certificate and a character certificate, so it is worth starting a police character certificate early if you do not have one.
How to apply for a NADRA job with PakID
You cannot apply with just an email address. NADRA's portal signs you in through the Pak Identity app, and your account must be verified with your face and fingerprints first. Do that before the last day, because the verification can take time.
- Install the Pak Identity app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and press Register.
- Enter your details and the two OTP codes sent to your mobile number and email.
- Verify yourself with a face scan through your phone camera and a fingerprint scan. NADRA issues your digital ID after this.
- Open careers.nadra.gov.pk and press Sign in with PAKID at the top right. Your login ID is your CNIC number, which NADRA calls your Citizen Number.
- Approve the login on your phone. A push notification arrives in the app; tap it and press Yes.
- Open the advert and press Apply Now. Attach your CV and your board certificates. The Scanning Operator adverts also ask for your CNIC or domicile.
If the fingerprint step fails in the app, the same face and fingerprint check is used for PakID biometric verification on other services, and the fixes are the same. If you need help at a centre, you can book a NADRA appointment in the same app.

Documents and conditions in every NADRA advert
Every advert we read asks for the same core papers: CV, board or HEC attested certificates, and CNIC. Government employees need a No Objection Certificate. NADRA pays no travel allowance for the test or interview, and phones and smart watches are not allowed inside.
- Degrees for officer posts must be attested by HEC.
- Originals must come with you to the test or interview.
- Shortlisting: for most posts only shortlisted candidates are called.
- Transfers: the posts are for a fixed location, and NADRA says it will not entertain transfer requests.
- False information disqualifies you at any stage.
None of the adverts we read mentions an application fee. If anyone asks you to pay to "confirm" a NADRA job, treat it as a scam. For a federal job through the public service commissions, the route is different, and applying for government jobs online starts on each commission's own site.
Fake NADRA job adverts and how to spot them
The only official place for NADRA jobs is careers.nadra.gov.pk, linked from the Careers button on nadra.gov.pk. A real advert opens there, has a "Last date to apply", and is applied for only through PakID sign-in. A WhatsApp image or a form asking for money is not NADRA.
Forwarded posters often mix old adverts with new dates. The Scanning Operator posts, for example, opened on 27 September 2026. If a poster shows a different date or salary, check the portal yourself.

Common questions
What is the last date for NADRA jobs 2026?

Can I apply for a NADRA job without the PakID app?
No. NADRA's portal only accepts applications from a PakID account that has passed face and fingerprint verification.
What is the salary for a NADRA Scanning Operator?
Rs 40,000 a month base salary, plus an incentive per scanned form that NADRA has not yet fixed in the advert.
What is the age limit for NADRA jobs?

Is there a fee to apply for NADRA jobs?
None of the 15 adverts we read mentions an application fee.
Can men apply for the Data Entry Operator posts?
No. Those two adverts are for female residents of the named tehsils only. Men can apply for the Scanning Operator and officer posts.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 2 October 2026. We opened all 15 open adverts on NADRA's careers portal, which nadra.gov.pk links from its Careers button, and read each one's terms, age limits, locations and closing dates. We read the portal's How to Apply page for the PakID sign-in steps. The portal's FAQ page was empty when we checked, and its application tracker needs a login, so we could not test it. The Scanning Operator incentive amount and the number of Scanning Operator posts are not given in the adverts.
