The National Savings helpline number is 051-111-267-268, the UAN of the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) in Islamabad. For complaints, call the Complaints Resolution Cell on 051-9215747. App and internet banking problems go to 051-111-728-464 or digital@savings.gov.pk.

The UAN is only one of several numbers, and calling the wrong one wastes a morning. We read every contact page on savings.gov.pk on 2 November 2026 and put the numbers for each kind of problem in one place: profit not paid, a debit card that will not work, a stuck app transfer, an overseas account, and the 12 regional offices that sit above the 374 National Savings Centres.

The main National Savings helpline is 051-111-267-268

The CDNS head office lists 051-111-267-268 as its helpline and UAN, with a call centre on 051-9226635 and 051-9215741. Its general email is info@savings.gov.pk, and the website says email replies take up to 3 business days.

The head office is at 23-N, Savings House, G-6 Markaz, Civic Centre, Islamabad, according to the contact page. The site footer gives G-6/4 Melody Market, which is the same area. If you only need the current rates, they are in National Savings profit rates from 21 October 2026.

App, internet banking and debit card problems have their own lines

For the National Savings mobile app and internet banking, call 051-111-728-464 or email digital@savings.gov.pk. You can also file a complaint inside the app through its Complaint Management option. Digital account opening queries go to nsdigitalaccount@savings.gov.pk, answered within 7 working days.

The CDNS UnionPay debit card has a 24-hour contact centre on 111-267-268, 051-9226635 and 051-9215741. CDNS says the card works at over 12,000 ATMs and over 50,000 shop terminals in Pakistan, and online with local merchants only. To get a card, CDNS asks you to submit an online request through the form linked on its ATM Card page.

If an app transfer to a bank failed and the money has not come back, the steps are in getting a refund for a failed National Savings app transfer. If your card was used without your knowledge, block it first through the 24-hour line, then report it.

Complain to the CRC first, then the Wafaqi Mohtasib

Start with your own National Savings Centre, then the Complaints Resolution Cell on 051-9215747. If CDNS does not resolve it, the Wafaqi Mohtasib (federal ombudsman) handles complaints against National Savings, and CDNS names a focal person on 051-9215754.

  1. Visit or call the National Savings Centre that holds your account and ask for a written complaint number.
  2. If nothing happens in a week, call the CRC on 051-9215747 and give that number and your account details.
  3. Email info@savings.gov.pk with your CNIC, account or certificate number and a short account of the problem.
  4. If CDNS does not reply or refuses, file with the Wafaqi Mohtasib and mention the CDNS focal person.
  5. Keep copies of every slip, email and reference number.
Five steps to escalate a National Savings complaint in Pakistan

The ombudsman process and its time limits are covered in checking a Wafaqi Mohtasib complaint online. Problems with a lost certificate or a deceased holder's savings have their own procedure, set out in getting a duplicate certificate and claiming a deceased holder's savings.

All 12 Regional Directorates of National Savings, with phone numbers

CDNS runs 12 Regional Directorates of National Savings (RDNS), each with a Regional Director and an Assistant Director (HQ). The Assistant Director (HQ) at each is also the focal person for overseas Pakistanis. Call your region if your centre cannot help.

Phone numbers of the 12 Regional Directorates of National Savings in Pakistan

The contact page lists a different Assistant Director number for Peshawar, 091-9218340, than the regional directorates page, which gives 091-9218338. Try both. The centres themselves are listed by region, with phone numbers, on the CDNS contact directory page.

Never share your PIN or OTP with a caller who says he is from National Savings

CDNS asks for a PIN for every card and app transaction, and no genuine helpline needs it. If someone calls about a prize bond win or a profit refund and asks for an OTP, PIN or CNIC photo, hang up and call 051-111-267-268 yourself.

If a caller mentions a draw, such as the Rs 100 prize bond draw on 16 November, check the result yourself. A real prize is claimed in person with a form and the bond, as set out in claiming a prize bond prize. Nobody needs your PIN for that.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 2 November 2026. We read the CDNS Contact Us page, the Regional Directorates page, and the UnionPay Debit Card, ATM Card and National Savings Digital pages on savings.gov.pk, all on 2 November 2026. Every number and email above is as CDNS prints it. We did not call any number to test it, and the two Peshawar numbers conflict between pages, so both are given.
