NayaPay Card in Pakistan: Order, Freeze, Block and Use Abroad (Visa Rs 1,000, Virtual Rs 600, PayPak Rs 1,808)
NayaPay card 2026: Visa physical Rs 1,000, virtual Rs 600, PayPak Rs 1,808. How to order, freeze or block it, the helpline, and what it costs to use abroad.

A NayaPay Visa card costs Rs 600 for the virtual card and Rs 1,000 for the physical card with delivery, and the PayPak card costs Rs 1,808 with delivery. You order, freeze, block and replace all of them from the Cards tab in the NayaPay app. The Visa cards work online and abroad; the PayPak card works only in Pakistan.
We read NayaPay's schedule of charges for July to December 2026 and its help pages on debit cards on 1 November 2026. NayaPay is an electronic money institution, a wallet company licensed by the State Bank, so the State Bank's rules on where wallet money is kept apply to it. The schedule marks the three card prices with an asterisk, which means taxes are included.
NayaPay has three cards: virtual Visa, physical Visa and PayPak
The virtual Visa card lives in the app and is meant for online payments and subscriptions. The physical Visa card works in shops, online and at ATMs at home and abroad. The PayPak card works only at shops and ATMs inside Pakistan.
| Card | Price (taxes included) | Where it works |
|---|---|---|
| Visa virtual card | Rs 600 | Online, Pakistan and abroad |
| Visa physical card | Rs 1,000 with delivery | Shops, online and ATMs worldwide |
| PayPak card | Rs 1,808 with delivery | Shops and ATMs in Pakistan only |
NayaPay's help page on the virtual card says you get it in the app "as soon as your wallet is created". The schedule still lists a Rs 600 charge for it. The app shows which applies to you before you confirm.
You can hold only one active physical card, in your own name. NayaPay does not offer an extra card for a family member.

How to order or replace a NayaPay card in the app
Open the Cards tab and tap the plus sign at the top right to order a new card. The same plus sign is used for a replacement after a block or when your card expires. NayaPay sends a reminder 30 days before a Visa card expires.
- Open the NayaPay app and tap the Cards icon at the bottom.
- Tap the + sign at the top right.
- Choose the Visa physical card or the PayPak card.
- Check the delivery address and the price shown, then confirm.
- When the card arrives, follow the app's prompts to start using it.
NayaPay's help pages do not give a delivery time, so we cannot promise one. Keep your wallet topped up so the card fee can be taken when you order.

Freeze a lost card first, block it only if it is gone
If you misplace your card, freeze it at once from Cards, then Freeze Card. Freezing can be undone. Blocking cannot, and a blocked card must be replaced at full price. Without the app, call NayaPay on (021) 111-222-729.
NayaPay gives an international number too, +1 650 468 2078, for calls from abroad. One detail surprises people: saved subscriptions such as Netflix, Amazon and Foodpanda still go through on a frozen card. To stop those, remove the card from each service or cancel the subscription.
| Action | Can you undo it? | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Freeze | Yes, unfreeze any time | New payments stop; saved subscriptions may continue |
| Block | No | Card is dead; order a replacement |
If you are not sure where the card is, freeze first and look for it. Block only once you are sure it is lost or stolen.
Using the NayaPay Visa card abroad and on foreign sites
NayaPay charges $0.25 for each international card payment, on both successful and failed attempts. A foreign ATM withdrawal costs Rs 200 and a balance check abroad Rs 150. NayaPay also passes on "FX settlement costs" for buying dollars, without publishing a rate.
The failed charge is the trap. NayaPay allows 5 failed international payments, from low balance or a frozen card, before it charges a fee to reset the counter. More failures after that can get the card blocked. So top up before a subscription renews.
The State Bank's yearly limit of USD 30,000 on card payments abroad applies across all your cards, and it reset on 1 November. The 236Y tax on card payments abroad comes on top of NayaPay's fee.

Set a spending limit and remove the card from old apps
NayaPay lets you cap what each card can spend in a month. Go to Cards, pick the card, tap More and switch on Spending Control, then enter the amount. Money already spent that month counts toward the cap.
NayaPay says it cannot remove your card from merchant sites for you. Its help page lists removal guides for dozens of services, from Netflix and Spotify to Daraz and Steam. If you no longer use a service, delete the card there rather than letting the charge fail.
Other card charges in the schedule: a local ATM withdrawal costs Rs 35 and a chargeback through Visa's dispute system costs $2. For the full list of wallet limits and transfer fees, see the NayaPay limits and charges. For a dispute that NayaPay support does not settle, the NayaPay complaint routes list every step.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read NayaPay's schedule of charges for July to December 2026, which it publishes as an image, on 1 November 2026. The same day we read its help articles on where the Visa card works, online and international use, the virtual card, lost cards, freezing and blocking, extra cards, expiry, spending control, failed transactions, FX settlement costs, PayPak use abroad and removing cards from merchants. We did not order a card, so delivery time, activation screens and whether the Rs 600 virtual card charge applies to new wallets are not verified.
