NEPRA has advertised 4 regular jobs at its Islamabad head office for candidates with a Balochistan domicile: Dispatch Rider, Aaya, Security Guard and Driver, aged 18 to 30, and applications must reach NEPRA by 19 November 2026. You can apply through the National Job Portal, njp.gov.pk, or send your papers by post or courier. Applications delivered by hand are not accepted.

NEPRA, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, posted the English advert on its website on 25 October 2026 and an Urdu version on 28 October. We read both. The posts are small in number but they are permanent, regular jobs in the federal capital, and the education bar is low.

NEPRA's 4 posts, qualifications and age limits

NEPRA is hiring one Dispatch Rider and one Driver at NSG-2, and one Aaya and one Security Guard at NSG-1. Every post has an age range of 18 to 30 years. The Aaya post is for women only, and the two driving posts need a valid licence.

PostGradeQualificationAgePosts
Dispatch RiderNSG-2Matric or equivalent, valid motorcycle driving licence18 to 301
Aaya (female only)NSG-1Primary or equivalent18 to 301
Security GuardNSG-1Primary or equivalent18 to 301
DriverNSG-2Primary or equivalent, valid LTV driving licence18 to 301

NSG is the grade label NEPRA uses in the advert. The advert does not state the salary for either grade, so do not trust any figure you see on a forwarded image.

NEPRA jobs 2026 posts and qualifications for Balochistan domicile holders

Only Balochistan domicile holders can apply

The advert is a special dispensation for Balochistan. Only candidates who hold a valid Balochistan domicile are eligible. The place of posting for all four jobs is NEPRA's head office in Islamabad, not an office in Quetta.

That matters for planning. If you are selected, you will live and work in Islamabad. NEPRA does not pay travel or daily allowance for the test or interview either, so budget for the trip if you are shortlisted.

NEPRA's advert gives extra age relaxation for this round

The upper limit is 30, but the advert adds relaxation. It keeps the general five year relaxation under government rules and says candidates in this special exercise also get a five year upper age relaxation instead of the usual three years.

The advert does not print a final maximum age after both relaxations. If you are over 30, call NEPRA's Admin and HR Department on 051-2013200 before you apply and ask how the two relaxations combine in your case. Government servants must apply through proper channel with a no objection certificate from their department.

NEPRA jobs last date 19 November 2026

How to apply online or by post

Apply online on the National Job Portal through the tab NEPRA set up for this recruitment, or post your application by courier. Either way it must reach NEPRA by 19 November 2026. Write the post name in the top right corner of the envelope.

  1. Decide which post you qualify for. Check the licence rule for Dispatch Rider and Driver.
  2. Collect your CV, attested copies of your CNIC, Balochistan domicile, educational certificates and driving licence where needed, and two recent photographs.
  3. Apply online at njp.gov.pk using the NEPRA tab, or prepare the envelope.
  4. For postal applications, write the post name at the top right of the envelope and address it to the Director General (Admin and HR), NEPRA Tower, Ataturk Avenue (East), G-5/1, Islamabad.
  5. Send it by post or courier early enough to arrive by 19 November 2026, and keep the tracking receipt.

Incomplete applications and those that arrive after the closing date will not be considered, the advert says. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview.

Steps to apply for NEPRA jobs 2026 online or by post

Check the advert on NEPRA's own website

NEPRA's website carries the advert under its careers listing, dated 25 October 2026, with the Urdu advert dated 28 October. Fake job adverts using regulator logos do circulate, so match any copy you receive against NEPRA's own file before sending documents.

NEPRA's advert asks for no application fee. If anyone asks you to pay to "confirm" one of these jobs, treat it as a scam. Other energy sector jobs open in Balochistan this month include the QESCO jobs for 2,798 posts, which close on 14 November. NEPRA's office phone numbers, if you need to confirm anything, are listed in NEPRA office contact numbers.

The advert also carries NEPRA's banner for its complaints app. If you have an electricity problem rather than a job question, that route is explained in the NEPRA Asaan Approach app.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the English advert Job Opportunities listed on NEPRA's home page on 25 October 2026 and the Urdu advert listed on 28 October 2026, both on 1 November 2026. The advert is signed by Wasim Anwar Bhinder, Director General (Admin and HR). We did not open the National Job Portal tab, and the advert does not state salaries or a final maximum age after relaxation.
