NEPRA's head office in Islamabad answers on 051-2013200, and its nine regional offices in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Peshawar and Quetta each have their own phone and complaints email. All ten are listed below with the full address, as NEPRA publishes them. Two of NEPRA's own pages give different addresses for Lahore and Karachi, so we show both and tell you which to confirm before you travel.
NEPRA, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, regulates every power company in Pakistan, from LESCO to K-Electric. Its regional offices exist mainly to take consumer complaints that a company has failed to fix. We read NEPRA's contact page, each regional office page and its complaint system on 31 October 2026.
NEPRA's head office is in NEPRA Tower, Islamabad
The head office is at NEPRA Tower, Ataturk Avenue (East), Sector G-5/1, Islamabad. The main number is 051-2013200 and the fax is 051-9210215. NEPRA lists its open hours as 9 am to 5 pm, and its complaint system says Monday to Friday.

Complaints go to the Consumer Affairs Division. Comments on tariff petitions and licence requests go to the Registrar. Sending a complaint to the wrong desk only slows it down.

NEPRA lists nine regional offices on its contact page. Each has a landline and a complaints email that starts with "cad" and the city name. The table gives each office as NEPRA's own regional page shows it on 31 October 2026.

NEPRA's own pages disagree on Lahore and Karachi
NEPRA's complaint system shows older details for two offices. For Lahore it gives 212 National Towers, opposite LDA Plaza, Edgerton Road, with 042-99203483. For Karachi it gives Office No. 101, 1st Floor, Balad Trade Center, with the same 021-34893001.
The regional office pages under NEPRA's main contact page give the Model Town address for Lahore and Office No. 706 for Karachi, as in the table above. We cannot tell from the website which is current. Phone the office before you go, and use email if you only need to send papers.
Gwadar also appears as a regional office choice on NEPRA's net metering complaint form, but NEPRA's contact page has no Gwadar page and no address for it.
Which NEPRA office should you contact
Pick the office nearest to you, not the one nearest your power company's head office. NEPRA's online complaint form asks you to choose your nearest office, and that office then handles your case.

This pairing is our guide by geography. NEPRA does not publish an official office for each company, so if you live nearer another office, choose that one.
Call your company before you call NEPRA
NEPRA expects you to complain to your power company first. Its complaint affidavit says you raised the matter with the company's senior officers and they did not fix it. A company complaint number makes NEPRA's job, and yours, much easier.
- Complain to your company on 118 or its own helpline and note the complaint number.
- Wait for the company's time limit for that problem to pass.
- File with NEPRA online, or call or email your nearest NEPRA office.
- Keep the NEPRA tracking number and check the case on NEPRA's Track Complaint page.
Company helplines for the larger areas are in IESCO complaint numbers, MEPCO complaint numbers and K-Electric complaints in Karachi. Billing disputes in Punjab can also go to the Electric Inspector offices in Punjab. The general route is in complaining about a wrong electricity bill.
NEPRA staff will not ask for money to take your complaint. Anyone who does is not acting for NEPRA.

We read NEPRA's contact page, its nine regional office pages and the contact block of its Complaint Management System on 31 October 2026. Email addresses were shown in protected form on the pages, and we decoded them; we list only office addresses, not staff ones. The Lahore and Karachi conflict is between NEPRA's own pages, and we could not confirm which is current. The company to office pairing is our suggestion. We did not phone the offices.
