nubia Neo 5 Max PadPhone Launches in Pakistan: 7.5-Inch Screen, 7,100 mAh, Rs 99,999 Reported

The nubia Neo 5 Max, which nubia calls a PadPhone, has launched in Pakistan with a 7.5-inch 1.5K screen, a 7,100 mAh battery, 45W charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chip. nubia's Pakistan site gives the launch date as 31 October 2026. Launch reports put the price at Rs 99,999, with sales from 2 November, but nubia's own site did not print a price when we checked it on 4 November 2026, so treat Rs 99,999 as reported until you see it at an official outlet.

The same reports say the nubia Neo 5 Pro 5G arrived alongside it at Rs 119,999. That model has no product page on nubia's Pakistan site yet. Here is what nubia confirms, what it does not, and who a 7.5-inch phone actually suits.

nubia confirms a 7.5-inch screen, 7,100 mAh and a Dimensity 7100

The nubia Neo 5 Max page on nubia.com/pk lists the screen, battery, charging, chip and cameras. It is a gaming phone first, so most of the page is about cooling and shoulder triggers. The price is missing from both the product page and the home page.

A PadPhone is a phone with a small-tablet screen

nubia uses the word PadPhone for a phone whose screen is close to a small tablet. At 7.5 inches, the Neo 5 Max is well above the 6.5 to 6.9 inches most phones use. It still takes a SIM, makes calls and fits in a large pocket, just about.

nubia says the bigger screen shows up to 40 per cent larger enemy outlines in shooting games, a figure it bases on games that run at a fixed landscape resolution. The same size helps for reading, video and split-screen work. The trade-off is one-hand use. Most people cannot reach the top of a 7.5-inch screen with a thumb.

The page does not give the weight or thickness. Hold one in a shop before you buy if size worries you.

The 7,100 mAh battery fills in 70 minutes

nubia's lab figures give 13.4 hours of gaming, 14.1 hours of video and 15.4 hours of navigation on a charge. The 45W charger takes it from 0 to 10 per cent in 4.3 minutes and to full in 70 minutes, by nubia's own test.

Bypass charging is the useful feature for gamers. With it on, power from the charger runs the phone directly instead of passing through the battery, which keeps the battery cooler during long sessions. The charger comes with a 90 degree cable so the plug does not dig into your palm in landscape.

The two battery cells are nubia's design choice for safer, faster charging. They still add up to one 7,100 mAh battery.

Where the Neo 5 Max sits against other phones near Rs 100,000

If the reported Rs 99,999 holds, the Neo 5 Max competes with phones that official stores sell at about the same price. Each wins on something different.

Our view: the Neo 5 Max is for a buyer who games for hours or wants a tablet and a phone in one device. A buyer who puts after-sales service first should ask where the nearest nubia service point is before paying. Samsung and vivo publish their service centre lists. The wider field is in the best phones under Rs 100,000 in Pakistan.

How to buy the Neo 5 Max without paying more than you should

A new phone with a reported price, not a printed one, needs a little care at the counter. These steps protect you.

1. Ask the seller for the official nubia Pakistan price and compare it with Rs 99,999.
2. Buy from a nubia outlet or an authorised retailer, and ask for the official warranty card.
3. Dial *#06# and match both IMEI numbers with the box.
4. Send the IMEI to 8484 or use the DVS app to confirm the phone is PTA approved.
5. Check the 45W charger and 90 degree cable are in the box, and take a stamped invoice.

The PTA check is explained in checking a phone's PTA status. nubia also sells the RedMagic gaming line in Pakistan, covered in the RedMagic 11S Pro price in Pakistan.

The Neo 5 Pro 5G is reported at Rs 119,999 but not yet on nubia's site

We have not confirmed these figures and will add them when nubia publishes the page.
