Open a KTrade Stock Account From the JazzCash App in Pakistan: Steps, Limit and Checks
Open a KTrade share trading account inside the JazzCash app with your CNIC. See the steps, the Rs 3,000,000 Sahulat cap and what to check before you deposit.

Short answer: You can open a stock trading account from inside the JazzCash app. Tap More, choose KTrade under Banking and Finance, accept the conditions, add your CNIC and fill in your details. JazzCash says to expect an email in 1 to 2 working days. Only resident Pakistani individuals can open one, and a Sahulat account holds at most Rs 3,000,000.
Buying shares used to mean a visit to a broker's office and a stack of forms. Now the first step is a screen in an app you already use for bills and top-ups. That makes it easy to start. It also makes it easy to start without checking what you are signing up for.
We read JazzCash's own KTrade section on 12 October 2026. We did not open an account. Here are the steps JazzCash lists, the limits it states and the checks to make before you put money in.
You open the KTrade account from the More menu in JazzCash
JazzCash puts KTrade in the Banking and Finance section under More. You accept the conditions, enter your CNIC, give personal and occupation details and verify your email with a code. The account is confirmed by email in 1 to 2 working days.
- Open the JazzCash app and tap More.
- Select KTrade in the Banking and Finance section.
- Accept the conditions and press Continue.
- Add your CNIC.
- Enter your personal information.
- Enter the OTP sent to your email.
- Provide your basic information.
- Enter your occupation details.
- Check your email in 1 to 2 working days for confirmation.

Keep your email address active. JazzCash says the confirmation comes by email, so check your spam folder too.
Who can open it and what JazzCash asks for
JazzCash says all resident Pakistani individuals can open a JazzCash KTrade account, in a single name only. The only document it names is a CNIC or SNIC, used as proof of identity. Joint accounts and overseas residents are outside what the page describes.
| Question | What JazzCash says |
|---|---|
| Who can open it | Resident Pakistani individuals |
| Account type | Single capacity, one person |
| Document needed | CNIC or SNIC as proof of identity |
| Proof of income | None extra for low risk customers |
| Cap on a Sahulat account | Rs 3,000,000 invested |
| Confirmation | By email in 1 to 2 working days |

On income proof, JazzCash says no extra document is needed to establish your source of income when you are classed as a low risk customer. That is the company's classification, so a higher risk profile may be asked for more.
A Sahulat account caps your holding at Rs 3,000,000
JazzCash says the maximum investment you can keep in a Sahulat account is Rs 3,000,000. Sahulat is the Pakistan Stock Exchange's simplified account for small investors, with no borrowed-money trading. Over the cap, you would need a regular account.
The cap matches what the exchange itself publishes. We covered the account, the short form and the trading limits in how to open a PSX Sahulat account with a CNIC. Read it for the full list of what the account cannot do, such as margin trading.
For most beginners the cap is no problem. If a share costs Rs 500 and you buy 100 of them, you have invested Rs 50,000. Rs 3,000,000 is a long way off.
After approval you fund the K Wallet and trade from the app
Once the email arrives, you deposit money into a K Wallet inside KTrade. From there you buy and sell on the Trade tab, check the order and confirm with a Trade PIN. You can follow a watchlist, the Market tab and your portfolio.
- Deposit funds into the K Wallet, or withdraw them from it.
- Go to Trade and choose to buy or sell.
- Verify your order before you place it.
- Enter your Trade PIN to continue.
- Build a watchlist and follow prices on the Market tab.
- Check what you hold in the Portfolio section.

The Trade PIN is separate from your JazzCash MPIN. Do not use the same number for both. If someone sees one, they should not get the other.
Check the broker and the risks before you deposit
An easy app does not change the risk. Share prices fall as well as rise, and the app does not guarantee any return. Before depositing, confirm that the broker behind KTrade holds a trading licence from the Pakistan Stock Exchange, and know where to complain if something goes wrong.
Both steps have their own pages. Checking that a broker is a PSX TREC holder takes two minutes. If a trade or withdrawal goes wrong, the complaint route runs through PSX and SECP.
Start with an amount you can afford to see fall by half. Fees and charges are not listed on JazzCash's page, so ask the broker for its commission schedule before you trade.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read JazzCash's KTrade stock trading section on 12 October 2026. We did not open an account, and the page lists no fees. The exchange's own account rules are on the Pakistan Stock Exchange website. Check both before you deposit.
