Pakistan Consulate Dubai Attestation Fee: AED 20 to AED 60 for Every Document (2026 List)
Pakistan Consulate Dubai attestation fees: AED 40 for a degree or power of attorney, AED 20 for matric or nikah papers. See all 18 documents and the stamps.

The Pakistan Consulate in Dubai charges AED 20 to AED 60 to attest a document: AED 40 for a power of attorney, a degree or an affidavit, AED 20 for a matric certificate or a nikah registration certificate, and AED 60 for papers issued by UAE authorities. The table below has all 18 categories the consulate lists, the papers each one needs, and the stamp you must get in Pakistan first, because that missing stamp is the most common reason people are sent home.
We read the consulate's attestation page at pakistanconsulatedubai.ae on 2 November 2026. Fees are in UAE dirhams and you pay at the counter, in cash or by card. The section opens Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 1 pm and on Friday from 7 am to 11 am, and the consulate says hours can change on public holidays and in Ramadan.
Pakistan Consulate Dubai attestation fees run from AED 20 to AED 60
Most papers cost AED 40 at the Dubai consulate. Matric (SSC) and A Level certificates, nikah, divorce and birth registration certificates and single status certificates cost AED 20. A police certificate issued by the consulate itself and any paper issued by UAE authorities cost AED 60.
| Document | Fee | Stamp needed first |
|---|---|---|
| Power of attorney | AED 40 | None, signed in front of the officer |
| Matric (SSC) certificate | AED 20 | IBCC and MOFA Pakistan |
| Intermediate (HSSC) certificate | AED 40 | IBCC and MOFA Pakistan |
| University degree | AED 40 | HEC and MOFA Pakistan |
| Technical or vocational certificate | AED 40 | Technical board, NAVTTC and MOFA |
| O Level certificate | AED 40 | British Council and MOFA |
| A Level certificate | AED 20 | British Council and MOFA |
| ACCA certificate | AED 40 | British Council, ACCA and MOFA |
| ICAP result card or certificate | AED 40 | ICAP and MOFA |
| Police character certificate from Pakistan | AED 20 | MOFA Pakistan |
| Police certificate issued by the consulate | AED 60 | None |
| Driving licence NOC | AED 40 | MOFA Pakistan on the NOC |
| Gift undertaking for a vehicle | AED 40 a page | None |
| Affidavit, car transfer affidavit, NOC or authority letter | AED 40 | None |
| Relationship or sponsorship affidavit | AED 40 | None |
| Nikah (MRC), divorce (DRC) or birth (BRC) certificate | AED 20 | MOFA Pakistan |
| Unmarried or single status certificate | AED 20 | MOFA Pakistan |
| Any document issued by UAE authorities | AED 60 | UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs |
Two rows look odd but are printed that way. O Level costs AED 40 and A Level AED 20, the reverse of what you might expect. And the police certificate row gives two fees, AED 20 and AED 60, which we read as one for a Pakistani certificate and one for a certificate the consulate issues itself.
The consulate also lists "miscellaneous documents". It decides those case by case, and the fee depends on the category. So if your paper is not in the table, ask at the counter before you queue.

Pakistani papers need the MOFA stamp before Dubai will attest them
The Dubai consulate counter-attests. It does not check a Pakistani degree or certificate from scratch. Your paper must already carry the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) stamp from Pakistan, and for education papers the board, IBCC or HEC stamp under that.
The consulate names the MOFA offices that can do this: Islamabad, and the camp offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Gujrat. If you are already in Dubai, a relative at home can take the paper to one of them. The MOFA online attestation portal also takes bookings.
For a degree, the order is HEC first, then MOFA, then Dubai. Skipping HEC is the usual mistake, and the steps for HEC degree attestation take longer than people expect. Intermediate and matric certificates go through IBCC instead of HEC.
You must come in person, or a blood relative can come for education papers
The consulate says the applicant's presence with original documents is mandatory in most cases. For education certificates, only a blood relative can attest on your behalf. If no relative is in the UAE either, you can give someone an authority letter attested by MOFA or a mission.
That rule matters if you have already left the UAE and your employer still needs the attested degree. A cousin with a copy of your passport will be turned away unless the authority letter is in order.
For every education certificate, bring the original, one photocopy of the certificate and one photocopy of your passport or NICOP. Photocopy and typing services are available inside the consulate, so a missing copy is not a lost trip.
A power of attorney from Dubai costs AED 40 and needs six papers
A power of attorney (POA), the paper that lets someone in Pakistan act for you, costs AED 40. You sign it in person. Bring two typed copies, your original passport or NICOP, photocopies of your passport and Emirates ID, two white background photos and the attorney's CNIC copy.
- Type the POA text and print two copies. Do not sign them yet.
- Get a photocopy of your passport and your Emirates ID or residence visa.
- Take two recent passport size photos with a white background.
- Get a copy of the CNIC of the person in Pakistan who will act for you.
- Dual nationals: bring the NICOP or POC card and the foreign passport too.
- For a deceased parent's property, bring a photocopy of the succession certificate.
- Arrive before 1 pm Monday to Thursday, or before 11 am on Friday, and take a token.
The succession certificate rule catches families after a death. Without it, the consulate will not attest a POA over inherited property. If the property is in Islamabad, read how to register a power of attorney for Islamabad property from abroad before you sign.

Affidavits, NOCs and UAE documents follow their own rules
Affidavits, car transfer affidavits and NOC or authority letters cost AED 40 each, with two typed copies and your passport. A relationship affidavit needs a nikah certificate or FRC. Papers issued by UAE authorities need the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamp first and cost AED 60.
Some details from the consulate's list that are easy to miss:
- A car transfer affidavit must give the engine number, chassis number and model, and you give manual fingerprints at the consulate.
- An NOC for a child's passport also needs a copy of the birth certificate and the marriage certificate.
- If a UAE office wants a relationship affidavit, it must be in Arabic and English side by side.
- A gift undertaking for a vehicle is charged AED 40 for each page, including each stamped passport page you submit to show more than 700 days abroad.
The gift undertaking can get expensive. Someone submitting ten passport pages of travel stamps pays for every page, on top of the undertaking itself. Count your pages before you go.

Common questions
How much is degree attestation at the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai?
AED 40 for a university degree, after HEC and MOFA Pakistan have attested it. Bring the original, one copy of the degree and one copy of your passport or NICOP.
Can I pay the attestation fee by card in Dubai?
Yes. The consulate says cash or credit cards may be used at the counter.
Do I need an appointment for attestation in Dubai?
The attestation page does not ask for one. It gives token times: 7 am to 1 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7 am to 11 am on Friday. The online booking form lists only NADRA and visa services.
Is the Abu Dhabi embassy fee the same?
Not always. The two missions publish separate lists. Check the Abu Dhabi embassy attestation fees if you live closer to the capital.
Where do I track my attested document?
On the consulate's document tracking page, choosing Attestation and entering your tracking number. It also lets you follow TCS delivery if you booked it.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Pakistan Consulate Dubai attestation requirements and its appointments page on 2 November 2026; the consulate is listed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs missions page. Every fee above is the consulate's printed figure. We did not visit the counter, so we could not confirm waiting times, and the page gives no date for when the fees were last revised.
