Why the U17 series matters

Under-17 cricket is where the PCB tests players before the under-19 level. A series against a full-member nation gives these boys their first international experience, and the selectors get to see them under pressure.

Players reach this level through the PCB's age-group trials. If your child wants to follow the same route, the PCB U15, U17 and U19 trials list the dates and grounds for 2026-27.

The tour is the same one that brought Sri Lanka's U17 side to Multan for the three-day match from 9 October. The Sri Lanka U17 tour of Pakistan page has the full schedule as first announced.
