Pakistan beat China 3-0 to win the men's volleyball bronze medal at the Asian Games on Saturday 3 October 2026. The set scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-18. The match in Okazaki, Japan, took 67 minutes. Murad Khan led Pakistan with 18 points.

Pakistan beat China 3-0 for the volleyball bronze
Pakistan won the bronze medal match against China in straight sets, 3-0. They won every set by at least seven points: 25-18, 25-16 and 25-18. The match started at about 12:05 pm Pakistan time and finished at about 1:15 pm.

Murad Khan scored 18 points to lead Pakistan
Murad Khan, Pakistan's opposite hitter, was the top scorer with 18 points. He scored 14 from spikes, 2 from blocks and 2 from aces. Usman Faryad Ali and Afaq Khan added 14 points each, so three players scored 46 of Pakistan's 75 points.

Pakistan won the match at the net
Pakistan won the attack and the block by wide margins. They won 46 of 72 spikes, a rate of 64 per cent. China won 27 of 70, under 40 per cent. Pakistan made 13 blocks to China's 3.
This was a big change from the semi-final. Against Iran on Friday, Pakistan made only 1 block and won 27 of 81 spikes. Against China, the blockers stopped the attack again and again.

Pakistan now have 10 medals at the 2026 Asian Games
The volleyball bronze was Pakistan's ninth medal of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The hockey bronze an hour later made it ten. Before these two matches Pakistan had eight: silver in men's squash and cricket, and six bronze. Now they have two silver and eight bronze, with no gold.

Pakistan's road to the bronze medal
