Pakistani Passport Fee in Jordan: JD 30 to JD 176 at the Amman Embassy (2026 List)
Pakistani passport fee in Jordan: JD 30 for 5 years and JD 46 for 10 at the Amman embassy, paid at the Arab Bank. Delivery times, papers and newborn steps.

A Pakistani passport at the embassy in Amman costs JD 30 for a normal 5 year, 36 page passport and JD 46 for a 10 year one, rising to JD 176 for an urgent 10 year, 100 page book. You pay the fee at the Arab Bank branch near the embassy, and it is not refunded. Below is the full Jordanian dinar table, the papers for adults and children, delivery times and the steps for a baby born in Jordan.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan in Amman's pages on mofa.gov.pk on 6 November 2026. The embassy serves Pakistanis living in Jordan and in the State of Palestine. Its passport page lists the fee, the documents and the rules for a lost passport in one place.
Pakistani passport fee in Jordan for 5 and 10 years
The Amman embassy charges JD 30 to JD 118 for a 5 year passport and JD 46 to JD 176 for a 10 year one. It lists two book sizes, 36 and 100 pages, at normal and urgent speed.
| Passport | 36 pages, normal | 36 pages, urgent | 100 pages, normal | 100 pages, urgent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 years | JD 30 | JD 50 | JD 59 | JD 118 |
| 10 years | JD 46 | JD 76 | JD 89 | JD 176 |
One oddity on the page. The table is headed "Passport Fee in USD (to be paid in the local currency)", yet every figure under it is written in JD. Read the amounts as dinars, which is how the embassy prints them, and confirm at the passport counter before you go to the bank.
The page does not list a 72 page passport, which other missions offer. It also still uses the label Machine Readable Passport (MRP), while Pakistan has been moving applicants to the e-passport. Our page on the MRP stop from 15 October explains that change.

The 10 year passport costs less per year
A normal 36 page passport costs JD 6 a year over 5 years and JD 4.60 a year over 10 years. Adults with a valid CNIC or NICOP get more for their money from the 10 year book. The embassy says children under 15 get a 5 year passport only.
Those per year figures are our arithmetic from the embassy's table. Urgent processing costs about 1.6 to 2 times normal, so pick urgent only if you really need the passport within three weeks.
Normal takes 25 to 30 days and urgent 15 to 20
The embassy gives approximate delivery times after a successful application: 15 to 20 days for urgent and 25 to 30 days for normal. Inside Pakistan the same passport is quicker, as our page on how long a Pakistani passport takes shows.
| Service | Approximate time in Amman |
|---|---|
| Urgent | 15 to 20 days |
| Normal | 25 to 30 days |
| Form S-1 birth registration | Same day |
Pay at the Arab Bank, then bring the receipt and five papers
The embassy asks you to deposit the fee in its account at the Arab Bank near the embassy. Collect the deposit slip from the passport section first. Check all your papers before you pay, because the fee is non refundable.
- Get the deposit slip from the embassy's passport section.
- Pay the fee at the Arab Bank branch near the embassy.
- Bring the original bank receipt to the embassy.
- Bring your original CNIC, NICOP or Smart Card with one photocopy.
- Bring your old passport with a copy of its first pages.
- Bring an NOC if you are a government servant.
- Appear in person for photo and fingerprints.
For a child under 18, bring the original NICOP or Child Registration Certificate (CRC) with one copy. A NICOP is required if the child is over 14. Bring copies of both parents' CNICs or NICOPs, a consent letter signed by both parents and the foreign passport if the child is a dual national. One parent must come in person.

A lost passport needs a police report with its number
If your passport is lost in Jordan, report it to the local police first. The police report must mention the number of the lost passport. Bring a photocopy of the lost passport showing its number, date and place of issue and expiry date.
The fee then depends on whether this is your first, second or third loss. The Amman page does not print those amounts, so ask the passport section. After a third loss, the embassy says it will issue an emergency passport for the trip back to Pakistan and refer the case to the Director General of Immigration and Passports. Our guide to a lost Pakistani passport abroad covers the wider steps.
Register a baby born in Jordan within six months
A child born to a Pakistani father or mother can get a Pakistani passport. The embassy asks parents to register the birth within six months. It issues Form S-1 on the same day, then the parents apply for the child's NICOP online, and the passport follows once the NICOP is issued.
For Form S-1, bring two recent photos of the child (2 by 1.5 inches, white or blue background), the Jordanian birth certificate with both parents' names, copies of both parents' passports and NICOPs, and both parents' Jordanian residence permits. The mother's NICOP must carry her husband's name. A foreign mother signs an affidavit of no objection.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Amman's passport page, newborn registration page, consular jurisdiction page and contact page on 6 November 2026. All fees are the embassy's printed figures. The page carries no date for the fee list and no lost passport amounts, and its USD heading does not match the JD figures, so confirm the amount at the counter.
