A Pakistani e-passport at the embassy in Manila costs PHP 2,800 for a normal 5 year, 36 page passport and PHP 4,700 for urgent, according to the embassy's own fee table. A 5 year, 72 page book costs PHP 5,150 normal and PHP 8,400 urgent. The 10 year rows on the page contain a clear error, which we explain below, so confirm the 10 year price before you pay. Below is the full peso table, the papers, the processing times and how to get your passport by courier.

We read the Embassy of Pakistan in Manila's pages on mofa.gov.pk on 6 November 2026. The embassy issues the e-passport to Pakistanis living in the Philippines, with valid or expired old passports. Every applicant must appear in person for fingerprints, photo and an interview.

Pakistani passport fee in the Philippines for 5 years

For a 5 year e-passport, the Manila embassy charges PHP 2,800 to PHP 8,400. These four figures are consistent with each other: urgent costs about 1.6 to 1.7 times normal, which matches the pattern at other Pakistani missions.

5 year e-passportNormal (PHP)Urgent (PHP)
36 pages2,8004,700
72 pages5,1508,400

Children under 18 can only get the 5 year passport here. The embassy marks its 10 year table "Not for children under 18". That is stricter than the under 15 rule that DGIP and several other missions use, so if your child is 15 to 17, ask the embassy which rule it applies.

The 10 year fee rows on the Manila page do not add up

The 10 year table lists PHP 8,400 for a normal 36 page passport and PHP 7,000 for an urgent one. Urgent cannot cost less than normal. The 72 page row, PHP 7,700 normal and PHP 12,550 urgent, is cheaper than the 36 page normal figure too. So at least one number in that table is wrong.

10 year e-passport, as printedNormal (PHP)Urgent (PHP)
36 pages8,4007,000
72 pages7,70012,550

We are not guessing at the correct figure. Call the embassy on +63 2 8817 2772 or 8817 2776, or email Parepmanila@mofa.gov.pk, and ask for the 10 year fee before you pay. The same page also refers to "the Embassy of Pakistan Nur-Sultan" in one line, which looks like text copied from another mission's page.

For a sense of scale, the same 36 page, 10 year e-passport costs Rs 13,500 inside Pakistan under DGIP's fee list. Our page on 5 or 10 year passport fees in Pakistan sets out the home prices.

Regular takes 30 business days and urgent 10 to 15

The embassy gives 30 business days for regular service and 10 to 15 business days for urgent. It warns that delivery can slip because of technical problems at DGIP headquarters in Islamabad. A lost passport takes longer, because the embassy first checks your details with the office that issued the old one.

Urgent10 to 15 business days
Lost passportSubject to verification by the issuing office
NICOP or POC3 to 6 months, no urgent service

Bring your NADRA card, old passport and proof of residence

The embassy asks adults for a valid CNIC or NICOP, the latest passport and proof that you live in the Philippines. Fix any mismatch with NADRA first. A married woman who uses her husband's name must change her NADRA card before she applies.

  1. Check that your CNIC or NICOP is valid and matches your old passport.
  2. Copy both sides of the card.
  3. Copy the first four pages of your latest passport, valid or expired.
  4. Bring your resident permit, visa or work authorisation.
  5. Bring an NOC if you are a government servant.
  6. Appear in person for fingerprints, photo and interview.

For a child under 18, bring the original CRC or NICOP with two copies and both parents' original NADRA cards with copies. A NICOP application from the Philippines must quote your 13 digit NADRA number, or a child's CRC number, or NADRA rejects it. Our guide to apply for a NICOP online explains the form.

Steps to apply for a Pakistani e-passport at the embassy in Manila, Philippines

Collect in person or by return courier

You can collect your passport in person, and one adult can collect for the whole family. If you live far from Manila, send the embassy a self addressed return courier envelope with your previous original passport and token. You pay the courier cost, and the embassy says it is not liable for loss in transit.

Collect on time. The embassy says passports not collected within a month of the collection date are sent back to DGIP headquarters in Islamabad.

For a lost passport, bring your original CNIC, NICOP or CRC with a copy and a photocopy of the lost passport. After a third loss, the embassy may issue an emergency passport for the trip back to Pakistan. Our guide to a lost Pakistani passport abroad covers the first steps.

The embassy is on the 6th floor of Alexander House, 132 Amorsolo Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Metro Manila.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the Embassy of Pakistan Manila's passport page, NICOP and POC page and contact page on 6 November 2026. All fees are the embassy's printed figures, including the 10 year rows that do not add up. The inland Rs 13,500 figure is DGIP's own e-passport fee list. The fee list carries no date.
