A Pakistani passport in the UK costs £30 for 36 pages and 5 years on normal processing, and £45 for 10 years, at the Pakistan High Commission in London and its consulates. Urgent processing costs £50 and £75. The highest fee on the list is £720, for an urgent 100 page, 10 year passport after a second loss.

Pakistani passport fee in UK for 36 pages
The High Commission charges £30 for a new or renewed 36 page passport valid 5 years, and £45 for 10 years, on normal processing. Urgent costs £50 and £75. A first lost passport costs double and a second costs four times.

The table also lists a £10 "endorsement fee (urgent)" against the 5 year normal column, with no 10 year figure. The page does not explain it. Ask about it when you book if you are switching a normal application to urgent.
Fees for 72 and 100 page passports in the UK
A 72 page passport costs £55 for 5 years and £82 for 10 years on normal processing, or £90 and £135 urgent. A 100 page book costs £60 and £90 normal, or £120 and £180 urgent. Loss fees rise to £720.

A lost passport is replaced only after the issuing office in Pakistan or abroad verifies the loss, the High Commission says. That adds time on top of the normal wait. Overseas Pakistanis can also report a first or second loss through the online lost, damaged or full passport route.
The 10 year passport is cheaper per year in the UK too
At £45 for 10 years, a 36 page passport costs £4.50 a year. At £30 for 5 years, it costs £6 a year. For any adult, the 10 year book saves money.

Bring your share code, or you will be turned away
The High Commission now asks every passport applicant to bring the first page of "Your Immigration Status" and a UK share code, to prove the right to stay in the UK. Bring your existing passport for a renewal, or a police report for a lost one.
The share code comes from your UK eVisa account. If you still rely on an old biometric residence permit, switch now. The steps to get a UK eVisa and share code before the BRP cut-off take one evening online.
You do not need forms or photos. Staff take your photo, signature and thumb impressions on the spot, which is why you must attend in person.
How to apply: appointment only, no walk-ins
Passport services at the High Commission and the consulates in Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow are by appointment only. Walk-in applicants are not served. Glasgow appointments are booked by text on WhatsApp at 07378 790 257.
- Book on the High Commission's online appointment system, or by WhatsApp text for Glasgow.
- Bring your immigration status page, share code and current passport or police report.
- Give your photo, signature and fingerprints at the counter.
- Pay the fee for your page count, validity and speed.
- Collect the passport or receive it under the collection procedure.
For a simple renewal, the High Commission points to DGI&P's online passport renewal system, which handles renewals only. Everything else stays with the High Commission's passport section. Once submitted, the usual passport tracking by token and SMS applies.
Phone queries about passports are taken from 10:00 to 13:00. The call centre runs Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 17:30, on 020 7664 9200, and email goes to consularaffairs@phclondon.org. The High Commission is at 34 to 36 Lowndes Square, London SW1X 9JN.
A NICOP costs £51.50 at the same counter
The High Commission charges £51.50 for a new Smart NICOP on normal processing, £64.50 urgent and £79.50 executive. These fees include a £2 bank surcharge and £14 delivery. A NADRA mobile team visit adds £10 per application.
Delivery is listed as about 6 weeks normal, 4 weeks urgent and 2 weeks executive at a NADRA centre. Your parents' and spouse's NADRA cards must be valid before any card is processed. Many people find the PakID app route simpler, and the NICOP online application on PakID shows the dollar fees by zone.
