PEL heat and cool inverter ACs start at Rs 97,900 for the 1 ton ATOM on PEL's own store, read on 7 November 2026. The 1.5 ton ATOM is Rs 115,900, and 2 ton models start at Rs 220,900. In heat mode, the 1 ton models with a published figure use about 1 unit an hour at their rating.

A PEL inverter AC in heat mode is the cheapest electric heat most homes can buy per unit. PEL's rating for the 1 ton Fit Graphite is 3,517 watts of heat from 950 watts of electricity, so one unit gives about 3.7 units of heat. A plain electric heater gives about one. We list nine H&C models below (H&C means heat and cool) with PEL's own picture and every price by size, and one cool only model to avoid if you want winter heat.

9 PEL heat and cool models compared by price and tons

PEL's nine current H&C inverter models run from Rs 97,900 to Rs 138,900 for 1 ton and from Rs 115,900 to Rs 181,900 for 1.5 tons. Only some come in 2 tons. Prices are the store's own, and "Not listed" means PEL does not show that size.

T3 is a test rating for very hot weather, and it matters more in June than in January. PEL gives a 10 year compressor warranty and 5 years on the PCB kit and parts on the T3 listings we read. Check the card for the model you buy.

One unit gives 3.4 to 3.7 units of heat on the 4 rated models

PEL publishes heating input for four models on the pages we read. At rating, the 1 ton models use 0.95 to 1 unit an hour and the 1.5 ton Prismo uses 1.53 units. Each makes about 3.4 to 3.7 times as much heat as the electricity it takes in.

Model and size on PEL pageHeat output (W)Heating input (W)Range (W)Heat per unit (our sum)Units a month at 4 hours a day
ATOM 1 ton3,4201,005290 to 1,7203.4121
Fit Graphite 1 ton3,517950400 to 1,1003.7114

Prismo 1.5 ton5,2001,530250 to 1,8003.4184

The ATOM page prints these input numbers with the letter A, which looks like a slip for watts, because its running current in heating is only 4.5 amps. At 1 unit an hour, four hours a night for 30 days is 120 units on the 2026 slab rates, which costs Rs 1,561 at Rs 13.01 and Rs 3,972 at Rs 33.10. Rs 13.01 is the protected home rate for 101 to 200 units, and Rs 33.10 is the unprotected rate for 201 to 300 units, from S.R.O. 279(I)/2026 as recorded by our team. These are energy charges only, before fuel adjustment, fixed charges and tax.

Real use moves inside the range. An inverter slows down once the room is warm, so a closed room may use far less than the rated figure. Outside air matters too: every heat pump gives less heat as it gets colder outside, and PEL's pages give no figure for that. In Lahore or Karachi this is rarely a problem. In Quetta or Murree, ask before you rely on it.

The 9 models with PEL's own pictures and our verdict

Every model below is labelled H&C on PEL's store, so all nine have heat mode. The cheap ones are not worse at heating on paper. The dearer ones mostly add looks, Wi-Fi and T3 rating, so buy the extras only if you will use them.

PEL InverterOn ATOM

Rs 97,900 for 1 ton, Rs 115,900 for 1.5 tons. PEL also shows Rs 112,900 and Rs 134,900 as the higher prices. This is the lowest price of any H&C model on the store, and its heating figure is close to the dearer models. For winter heat on a budget, start here.

PEL InverterOn ACE Pro

Image: PEL

Rs 113,900 for 1 ton, Rs 134,900 for 1.5 tons. PEL lists a 1 ton heating capacity of 12,000 BTU (3,600 to 13,600). The page gives no input watts, so we cannot give a unit figure for it.

PEL InverterOn AERO Extend

Rs 115,900 for 1 ton, Rs 140,900 for 1.5 tons. It sits Rs 18,000 above the ATOM for the same 1 ton size. We see no heating reason to pay that gap from the listing alone, so compare the two side by side in a shop.

PEL InverterOn Prismo T3

Image: PEL

Rs 128,900 for 1 ton (not available on 7 November), Rs 160,900 for 1.5 tons, Rs 222,900 for 2 tons. PEL rates the 1.5 ton at 5,200 watts of heat from 1,530 watts in. It is the only 1.5 ton figure we found, and a fair pick for a big lounge.

PEL InverterOn Fit Graphite T3

Image: PEL

Rs 128,900 for 1 ton, Rs 162,900 for 1.5 tons, Rs 222,900 for 2 tons. The 950 watt rating is the lowest input we read, and 3.7 units of heat per unit is joint best. A grey front helps it hide on a dark wall.

PEL InverterOn Turbo DC Ultimate T3

Rs 128,900 for 1 ton, Rs 164,900 for 1.5 tons, Rs 228,900 for 2 tons. The listing we read gives no heating input. Ask for the spec sheet before you assume it matches the Fit Graphite at the same 1 ton price.

PEL InverterOn Jumbo Cool T3

Rs 129,900 for 1 ton, Rs 165,900 for 1.5 tons, Rs 220,900 for 2 tons. PEL lists heat output of 3,550 watts (800 to 4,200) with no input figure. It has the lowest 2 ton price of the H&C models on the store.

PEL InverterOn Jumbo X T3

Rs 134,900 for 1 ton, Rs 176,900 for 1.5 tons, Rs 227,900 for 2 tons (not available on 7 November). The black body is the main reason to pay more. PEL rates the 1 ton at 970 watts in for 3,550 watts of heat.

PEL InverterOn Jumbo DC Prime Wifi T3

Rs 138,900 for 1 ton, Rs 181,900 for 1.5 tons, Rs 232,900 for 2 tons. Wi-Fi is the point of this one, for switching heat on from your phone before you get home. It is Rs 41,000 above the 1 ton ATOM.

The Cool Pro has no heat mode, so skip it for winter

PEL's Cool Pro is labelled cool only and costs Rs 102,900 for 1 ton and Rs 129,900 for 1.5 tons. It gives no winter heat. The H&C ATOM costs Rs 5,000 less at 1 ton and Rs 14,000 less at 1.5 tons, so check the label first.

Rs 102,900 for 1 ton, Rs 129,900 for 1.5 tons. Shown here so you can spot it. The same warning goes for the Cool Breeze, also labelled cool only on the store.

Switch your PEL AC to heat in 5 steps

Heat mode needs a few simple checks before the first cold night. The remote, the filters and the outdoor unit are what usually go wrong after a summer of use. Do these five checks once at the start of winter, and read your meter a week later.

  1. Clean the indoor filters, because dust from summer will blow out with the first warm air.
  2. Check nothing blocks the outdoor unit, since it now pulls heat from outside air.
  3. Set the remote to heat mode and pick about 22 degrees Celsius.
  4. Close the door and windows, and let the unit run for a few minutes before you judge it.
  5. Read your meter after a week and compare it with the table above.

Before you buy, you can also check the AC for a PSQCA standard and read the energy label on the AC.

Questions people ask about PEL heat and cool ACs

What is the price of a PEL 1 ton inverter AC?

On PEL's store the H&C models start at Rs 97,900 for the ATOM and reach Rs 138,900 for the Jumbo DC Prime Wifi, as read on 7 November 2026.

Does a PEL inverter AC use less electricity than a heater?

Yes, at the rated figures. PEL rates the 1 ton Fit Graphite at 950 watts in for 3,517 watts of heat, while a 2,000 watt electric heater gives about 2,000 watts of heat.

How many units does a 1 ton PEL AC use in heat mode?

The rated figure is 0.95 to 1 unit an hour on the three 1 ton models with a published input. The range goes from 0.29 to 1.72 units depending on model and room.

Which PEL AC has no heat?

The Cool Pro and Cool Breeze are labelled cool only. Check for H&C in the model name before you pay.

Is 1 ton enough to heat a room?

For a small closed bedroom, usually yes. Ask the dealer about your room size and your city, since PEL's pages do not give a heating area.

Does PEL install the AC for free?

The listings we read do not settle it. Ask for the installation and pipe cost in writing before you order.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read prices, stock and specifications on PEL's own air conditioner store on 7 November 2026. Pictures are PEL's own. Rates are from S.R.O. 279(I)/2026 as recorded by our team, and the heat per unit and monthly unit figures are our own arithmetic. We have not run these ACs ourselves.
