Pesticide Dealer Licence Punjab 2026: Apply on eBiz 1 to 5 November, Training Dates for New and Renewal
Punjab takes pesticide dealer licence applications on eBiz from 1 to 5 November 2026. Training runs 6 to 12 November for new licences, 6 to 8 for renewals.

Punjab's Agriculture Department is taking online applications for new pesticide dealer licences and licence renewals from 1 to 5 November 2026 on the eBiz portal, ebiz.punjab.gov.pk. Compulsory training follows: 6 to 12 November for new licences and 6 to 8 November for renewals. Agriculture graduates do not need the training to get a new licence.
The window is five days long and opens today. We read the department's advertisement on agripunjab.gov.pk on 1 November 2026. Anyone selling crop sprays in Punjab, or planning to, should apply this week. Missing it means waiting for the next round, and the department has not said when that will be.
The application window is 1 to 5 November 2026, online only
The advertisement says applications will be received online from 1 November to 5 November 2026 through the eBiz portal. It covers two groups: people who want a new licence to run a pesticide business, and existing dealers who need training to renew their licence.
| What | Who | Dates |
|---|---|---|
| Online application on eBiz | New applicants and renewing dealers | 1 to 5 November 2026 |
| Training for a new licence | New applicants (not agriculture graduates) | 6 to 12 November 2026 |
| Training for renewal | Existing dealers renewing | 6 to 8 November 2026 |
| Where training is held | Both groups | Tehsil and district level |
The department calls the training mandatory for both groups. So an online form alone does not get you a licence. You also have to sit the course on the dates given.

Apply through eBiz Punjab in five steps
eBiz is the Punjab government's single online window for business licences and permits. The pesticide licence form sits there alongside other agriculture licences. Create an account, find the pesticide licence service, fill the form and submit it before 5 November.
- Open ebiz.punjab.gov.pk and sign in, or create an account if you have none.
- Search the Agriculture Department services for the pesticide dealer licence.
- Choose new licence or renewal.
- Fill in your shop and personal details, upload the papers the form asks for, and submit.
- Note your application number and call the district Pest Warning office to confirm your training slot.
How eBiz accounts work in general, including sign-up and tracking, is covered in the eBiz Punjab business licences steps. The eBiz site did not open from our connection on 1 November 2026, so we could not see the pesticide form itself, its fee or its document list. The advertisement does not state a fee either. Read the fee on the form before you pay.

Training is run by the district Pest Warning office
The advertisement says training will be held at tehsil and district level. For details, contact the office of the Director or Deputy Director (Pest Warning) in your district. That office also tells you the venue and time.
Renewing dealers get a shorter course, three days from 6 to 8 November. New applicants have a week, 6 to 12 November. If you run a shop, plan cover for those days now. The department has not said what happens to an applicant who misses a session, so treat attendance as non-negotiable.
Bring your CNIC and your eBiz application number to the first session. If you are renewing, also carry your current licence. The advertisement does not list what the training covers, and the department has not published a syllabus, so ask the Pest Warning office when you confirm your slot.
Agriculture graduates skip the training
The advertisement carries one exemption: agriculture graduates are exempt from the training for obtaining a new licence. They still apply online on eBiz in the same 1 to 5 November window.
Keep an attested copy of the degree ready to upload. The advertisement does not say whether the exemption also covers renewal training. If you are a graduate renewing an old licence, ask the Pest Warning office before you skip the 6 to 8 November course.

Why the department is pushing licensed sales now
The advertisement presents the drive as a Chief Minister's instruction for people in the pesticide trade. It comes in the wheat sowing season, when farmers are buying sprays and seed in volume and fake products do the most damage.
A licensed dealer is also the only safe place for a farmer to buy. Fake or substandard sprays can be reported, and the penalties are set out in how to report fake fertiliser or pesticide in Punjab. Farmers using the Kissan Card can only buy from registered dealers, listed district by district in where a Kisan Card works in Punjab.
Questions about the drive go to the Agriculture Department's helpline, 0800-17000, which the advertisement says answers daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 1 November 2026. Dates, the exemption, the training levels and the helpline come from the Punjab Agriculture Department's advertisement for pesticide licences, posted on the home page of agripunjab.gov.pk, which we read on that date. The advertisement carries no publication date. ebiz.punjab.gov.pk did not respond from our connection, so we could not check the form, fee, document list or whether the window was already open. We did not call the helpline.
