PM Youth Loan Status Check by CNIC: Track Page, 5 Stages and What to Do If Nothing Shows
Check your PM Youth Loan status by CNIC on the PMYP Track page. See the 4 fields it needs, what each stage means, and what to do when it shows nothing at all.

You check a PM Youth Loan application on the scheme's own Track page at pmybals.pmyp.gov.pk/pmyphome/TraceApplication. Type four things exactly as you gave them in the form: your CNIC, mobile number, CNIC issue date and date of birth, then press Submit. The page does not ask for a tracking ID or a password.
Most failed checks come from one wrong field, not a lost application. Below we cover each field, the stages the scheme counts, what to do when the page shows nothing, and when to call your bank instead. We read the Prime Minister's Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme (PMYB&ALS) site on 24 October 2026.
The Track page needs four details that match your application
The Track page asks for your CNIC, mobile number, CNIC issue date and date of birth. It wants the details "which you have entered during your form submission", so a new SIM or renewed CNIC can hide an old application.
| Field on the Track page | What to type | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Applicant's CNIC | The 13 digits from the card you applied with | Using a father's or spouse's CNIC |
| Mobile No. | The number you put in the loan form | Typing a newer number |
| CNIC Issue Date | The issue date printed on that card | Using the date of a renewed card |
| Date of Birth | As printed on the CNIC | Swapping day and month |
If you renewed your CNIC after applying, try the old issue date first. The page matches records, so it can only find what the form saved.

How to check your PM Youth Loan status in five steps
Open the PMYB&ALS home page, choose Track, fill the four fields and submit. The whole check takes about two minutes on a phone. Keep your CNIC in front of you, because the issue date is the field most people guess.
- Open pmybals.pmyp.gov.pk and tap "Track: Check status of your loan application".
- Type your 13-digit CNIC and the mobile number from your form.
- Enter the CNIC issue date and your date of birth.
- Press Submit and read the result on the screen.
- Take a screenshot, so you have a dated record if you need to complain later.
We did not submit a real application, so we cannot show the exact wording of each result screen. Use the stages below to read what you see.
The scheme counts five stages, from applied to disbursed
The scheme's public dashboard counts loans as Applied, In Process, Approved, Disbursed and Rejected. Approved is not the same as paid. Money reaches you only at the Disbursed stage, after the bank completes its own checks and paperwork.
| Stage | What it usually means for you |
|---|---|
| Applied | Your online form reached the system |
| In Process | The bank you chose is reviewing it |
| Approved | The bank agreed, documents and security may still be pending |
| Disbursed | The loan amount has been released |
| Rejected | The bank declined it; ask the branch for the reason |
Sindh Bank, one of the lending banks, says on its own scheme page that its representative contacts the applicant after the online application arrives. So an "In Process" result with no call for weeks is a reason to phone the bank, not to apply again.
Loan size decides your tier and markup
The scheme has three tiers. Tier 1 is up to Rs 0.5 million at 0 per cent markup. Tier 2 goes above that to Rs 1.5 million at 5 per cent. Tier 3 goes up to Rs 7.5 million at 7 per cent.

Applicants must be Pakistani residents aged 21 to 45. For IT and e-commerce businesses, the lower age limit is 18. The site says non-resident Pakistanis and government employees cannot apply, and there is no paper form at branches. If you have not applied yet, the steps to apply for the PM Youth Business Loan come first.
Sindh Bank's page adds detail for its own customers: a Rs 100 processing fee, a tenor of up to 8 years for long-term loans, and a target of 25 per cent of loans for women. Other banks may set different charges under their own schedules.
About 290,000 loans show as disbursed on the dashboard
The dashboard's provincial panel listed 299,367 eligible applications and 289,995 disbursed loans across all regions when we read it. Punjab alone showed 233,420 disbursed, about 80 per cent of the total. The panel did not state a period.

The full panel, region by region, eligible then disbursed: Punjab 241,383 and 233,420; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 21,294 and 20,774; Sindh 20,248 and 19,611; AJK 8,539 and 8,506; Gilgit-Baltistan 2,973 and 2,907; Federal 2,976 and 2,892; Balochistan 1,954 and 1,885. The totals are our own addition. Other counters on the same page showed zero when we loaded it, so treat the figures as a snapshot, not a live count.
When the Track page finds nothing, check the fields, then the bank
A blank result usually means one field differs from your form. Retry with the old mobile number and old CNIC issue date. If it still finds nothing, contact the bank you selected, because the bank processes the loan, not the website.
- Old number: if you changed SIMs, the form still holds the old one.
- Renewed CNIC: the issue date changed; use the date on the card you applied with.
- Wrong bank: the bank you chose is the one that calls you. Note its name before you phone anyone.
- Applied twice: a second form can confuse the record. Ask the bank before submitting again.
For help with a business plan, the site names the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) as its free adviser, on 111-111-456 with the local area code. Before you sign, know what a bank must tell you about a loan offer.
Nobody needs a fee to check or speed up your status
Checking your status is free and needs no agent. The Track page asks only for your own details. Anyone who asks for money, your bank PIN or a one-time code to "approve" your youth loan is not part of the scheme.
Apply and check only on pmyp.gov.pk addresses. Do not share the OTP your bank sends. If someone has used your CNIC for a loan you never asked for, read the warning signs of a loan in your name and report it to the bank at once.

The same CNIC-and-mobile pattern works for other federal schemes. A Bait-ul-Mal case, for example, is checked on the PBM application tracker.
Common questions
Can I check my PM Youth Loan status by SMS?
We found no SMS code on the scheme's own site. The official route is the Track page at pmybals.pmyp.gov.pk, plus the bank you selected in your form.
Do I need a tracking ID to check?
No. The Track page asks for your CNIC, mobile number, CNIC issue date and date of birth. There is no tracking ID field.
My status says approved but I have no money. Why?
Approval comes before disbursement. The bank still needs documents, guarantees or security, depending on the tier. Call the branch and ask what is pending.
Can I apply again if my loan was rejected?
The site does not set a waiting period. Ask the bank for the reason first, fix it, then decide. A second form while the first is open can confuse your record.
Is there a paper form at bank branches?
No. The scheme's own FAQ says all applications are submitted online and no physical form is required.
Can overseas Pakistanis apply?
No. The scheme's FAQ says it is only for resident Pakistanis. Government employees are also not eligible.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the PMYB&ALS home page, its Track page and its dashboard at pmybals.pmyp.gov.pk on 24 October 2026, and Sindh Bank's PMYB&ALS page the same day. We did not submit real details, so we could not see the result screens. The dashboard totals are our addition of its regional figures, and the panel gave no period.
