You can track a Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal application on the PBM tracker at mis.pbm.gov.pk/track. Choose the scheme, type the beneficiary's CNIC and mobile number, enter the captcha and search. The tracker covers five schemes: medical assistance, education stipend, cochlear implant, special friends and wheelchair.

A family that hands a form to a PBM office often hears nothing for weeks. Many then travel to the office again just to ask. The tracker lets you check from home first. We opened the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal website and its tracker page on 15 October 2026, and every detail below comes from those pages. We did not run a search, because that needs a real person's CNIC.

The PBM tracker asks for four things: scheme, CNIC, mobile number and captcha

The tracker form has a scheme list, a box for the beneficiary's CNIC, a box for the mobile number and a captcha code. All four must be filled. PBM's home page links to the tracker as "Track case status online".

The labels on the form say "Beneficiary", not "Applicant". That matters when someone else filled the form for a patient or a student. Use the details of the person the help is for, the same details you wrote on the application.

ProjectThe scheme you applied under
Beneficiary CNICThe CNIC number of the person getting the help
Beneficiary Cell NoThe mobile number written on the application
CaptchaThe code shown on the page

The tracker covers five schemes and not every PBM programme

The scheme list on the tracker has five choices: Medical Assistance, Education Stipend, Cochlear Implant, Special Friends and Wheelchair. PBM's forms page lists 13 categories, so some applications, such as thalassaemia or orphan care, are not on the tracker list.

If your scheme is missing from the drop-down, do not try a different one. A search under the wrong scheme will show nothing, and that tells you nothing about your case. Ask the PBM district office that took your form.

Forms page categoryOn the tracker list?
Disabled persons and special friendsYes, as Special Friends
Medical help, such as cancer, heart or surgeryYes, as Medical Assistance
Education assistanceYes, as Education Stipend
Pakistan Thalassemia CentreNot listed
Pakistan Sweet Home for orphansNot listed

The tracker also lists wheelchairs and cochlear implants as separate choices. For those two schemes, see the steps to get a wheelchair or hearing aid from Bait-ul-Mal and to register a child for a free cochlear implant.

Five Bait-ul-Mal schemes on the tracker and two forms page categories that are not

Track the application in five steps

Open the tracker, choose your scheme, type the beneficiary's CNIC and mobile number, copy the captcha and press search. The whole check takes about one minute. Keep the receipt or slip from the PBM office beside you in case the tracker asks for a number.

  1. Open mis.pbm.gov.pk/track in your phone browser.
  2. Choose the scheme from the Project list.
  3. Type the beneficiary's CNIC and the mobile number on the form.
  4. Type the captcha code exactly as shown.
  5. Submit, then note down the status and the date.

The tracker page does not say how the result is worded or how often it updates. Write the status down with the date, so you can show it to the office later.

Five steps to track a Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal application online

A blank result usually means a data mismatch, so check your papers

If the tracker finds nothing, the CNIC or mobile number may differ from the form, or the file may not be entered yet. Compare the numbers with your copy of the application first. Then check that the papers PBM asks for were all attached.

PBM's forms page lists these documents for medical help: the PBM medical form signed by a government hospital, the estimate form signed by the hospital, a simple application to the Managing Director, all test reports, a Sehat Sahulat card signed by the hospital, and a CNIC copy. For a patient under 18, it asks for a B-form.

Eligibility rules sit in PBM's policy pages. For medical and education help, PBM lists a monthly household income at or below Rs 74,000. It does not accept government servants and their family members, or people who already get help from another government body. The steps and limits for medical cases are in the guide to Bait-ul-Mal medical assistance.

Use PBM's own complaint channels if the status does not move

The tracker page carries a Feedback/Complaint button. PBM also held virtual E-Kachehry sessions, on 23 July 2026 and 20 August 2026, where the Managing Director heard public grievances on medical, stipend and rehabilitation cases. Raise a stuck case there.

Go to a PBM office only if the tracker and the complaint button both fail. Pay nobody to "push" a file. The pages we read list no fee for tracking or for applying. If an agent asks for money, treat it as a red flag and tell the PBM office.

Common questions about tracking a Bait-ul-Mal application

Where is the official PBM tracker?

It is at mis.pbm.gov.pk/track, linked from the PBM home page at pbm.gov.pk as "Track case status online". Use only that address, and do not enter your CNIC on look-alike sites.

Do I need a login to track an application?

No login field appears on the tracker page. It asks for the scheme, CNIC, mobile number and a captcha only.

Which schemes can I track?

Medical Assistance, Education Stipend, Cochlear Implant, Special Friends and Wheelchair. Other programmes, such as thalassaemia care, are not in the tracker list we saw.

Which CNIC should I enter, mine or the patient's?

The form says "Beneficiary CNIC", so enter the CNIC of the person who will get the help. We could not confirm how it treats a child's B-form number, so ask the PBM office if a search fails.

Is there a fee for tracking?

The tracker page shows no fee. PBM's pages we read list no fee for applying either.

What if the tracker shows nothing?

Check that the CNIC and mobile number match your form and that you picked the right scheme. If they do, use the Feedback/Complaint button or ask the PBM district office that took your file.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 15 October 2026. We opened the PBM home page, its forms page, its projects page and the tracker page at mis.pbm.gov.pk, all on PBM's own domain. The scheme list, the form fields, the document list, the Rs 74,000 income limit and the press-release dates come from those pages. We did not submit a search. PBM can change the tracker without notice.
