Prize Bond Draw Schedule 2026 in Pakistan: Remaining Dates and Prizes

Six prize bond draws are left in 2026 under the National Savings schedule: Rs 750 on 15 October at Rawalpindi, Rs 1,500 at Hyderabad and Rs 100 at Faisalabad on 16 November, the Rs 40,000 and Rs 25,000 premium bonds on 10 December at Lahore and Karachi, and Rs 200 on 15 December at Peshawar. A bond must be at least 60 days old on draw day to be in the draw, and a prize can be claimed for six years.

The prize bond draw schedule for 2026 sits on the National Savings website as a scanned letter, dated 21 October 2025 and signed by a National Savings officer, with no text to copy and no way to search it. That one detail explains why every search for the prize bond schedule 2026 lands on aggregator sites instead of the government. We downloaded the letter, read it line by line, and this is what it says.

National Savings pairs the schedule with the tax rule that matters most to winners: 15 per cent of the prize is withheld for filers and 30 per cent for non filers, as its prize bonds page states. On the Rs 3,000,000 first prize of a Rs 1,500 bond, that gap is Rs 450,000.

Which prize bond draws are still to come in 2026?

Four dates remain, carrying six draws. The Rs 750 bond draws on Thursday 15 October at Rawalpindi. The Rs 1,500 and Rs 100 bonds draw on Monday 16 November, at Hyderabad and Faisalabad. Both premium bonds draw on Thursday 10 December, and the Rs 200 bond closes the year on Tuesday 15 December at Peshawar.

The draw numbers are the last published number plus one, so treat them as a guide until the list is out. The last column is the 60 day rule worked backwards: National Savings says a bond qualifies only if it was issued at least 60 days before the draw. Buy a Rs 200 bond on 20 October and its first draw is in March 2027, not December.

National Savings adds one line under the schedule: if a draw falls on a public holiday, it moves to the following working day. None of the four remaining dates is a fixed national holiday, but a holiday declared at short notice would push the draw a day.

What was the full 2026 prize bond schedule?

The letter lists 24 draws across the year: four for each of the six denominations. The regular bonds draw on the 15th of their month, or the next working day, and the premium bonds on the 10th of March, June, September and December.

Rs 40,000 premium10 Mar, Rawalpindi10 Jun, Muzaffarabad10 Sep, Sialkot10 Dec, Lahore

Eighteen of those draws have already happened, including the double draw day of 17 August. If you hold a Rs 200 bond and never checked the 15 September list from Muzaffarabad, that is the first place to look, and it is on the official site now.

How much does each prize bond pay?

First prizes run from Rs 700,000 on a Rs 100 bond to Rs 80,000,000 on a Rs 40,000 premium bond. Every denomination pays one or more first prizes, a handful of second prizes, and hundreds or thousands of third prizes, and the amounts are printed at the top of each official draw list.

Those figures come from the most recent official list for each bond, downloaded from National Savings. The third prize counts for Rs 750 and Rs 1,500 are our count of the numbers on the list, since those two lists do not print a total.

The premium bonds are a different product: registered against your CNIC and bank account rather than bearer paper, which is why their prize money is credited straight to the account with no claim form. How the two kinds work, and which old denominations are no longer drawn, is covered in prize bonds in Pakistan.

How do you check a prize bond result?

Open savings.gov.pk, go to Download Draws, choose your denomination and open the list for the draw date. Match all six digits of your bond number against it. For several bonds in a series, use the Draw Search page, which accepts a number range and a draw date and searches the list for you.

Steps to check a prize bond draw result on savings.gov.pk
  1. Type savings.gov.pk into the browser yourself. On draw day the search results fill with lookalike sites, and a few of them ask for money to "release" a prize. Checking is free.
  2. Open Download Draws. Each denomination has its own list, posted as a text or PDF file after the draw.
  3. Open the list with the right date. Two bonds draw on 16 November, and a Rs 100 number means nothing on the Rs 1,500 list.
  4. Compare every digit. The lists are sorted in columns of ascending numbers, so find your first three digits and read down.
  5. For a bundle of consecutive bonds, use the Draw Search page at savings.gov.pk/latest/results.php. Pick the denomination and date, then enter a range such as 122000 to 122099.
  6. Go back through older lists. You have six years to claim, so a bond bought in 2021 has been through about 20 draws you may never have checked.

Two warnings from our own reading. The Draw Search page carries a notice that its database is being updated and some draw dates may not appear yet, so a blank result there is not proof of a loss; the downloadable list is the authority. And the site's footer still says it was last updated on 26 August 2025, even though 2026 draw lists are being added, so do not take that stamp as a sign that the lists are stale.

National Savings does not phone or text winners. The list is published and you check it. Any message announcing a win before you looked is somebody else's scheme, and the same pattern runs through the fake e-challan SMS scam doing the rounds this year.

How do you claim a prize, and how long do you have?

Claim within six years of the draw date. Prizes up to Rs 1,250 are paid at any National Savings centre, authorised bank branch or State Bank office. Larger prizes are paid only at State Bank branches, against a claim form, the original bond and a CNIC copy, from three or four working days after the draw.

Prize bond claim rules including the six year limit

The documents, as National Savings lists them: the prescribed claim form, downloadable from its site at no charge, a photocopy of a valid CNIC, the original winning bond, and a photocopy of the bond signed on the back by the claimant. Do not sign the original until the counter asks.

The Rs 1,250 threshold decides your day. Every third prize on the Rs 100 and Rs 200 bonds fits under it, so a Rs 1,000 win is paid over the counter at the nearest savings centre. A Rs 9,300 third prize on a Rs 750 bond does not, and that means a State Bank Banking Services Corporation office, which exists in the larger cities only.

Tax comes off at payment. A filer loses 15 per cent, a non filer 30. On the Rs 700,000 first prize of a Rs 100 bond that is Rs 105,000 against Rs 210,000, a difference that one tax return would have closed. Checking your own status takes one SMS, as set out in checking filer status in Pakistan. The returns for tax year 2026 are due by 30 September, and the process is set out in how to become a tax filer in Pakistan.

Common questions about the prize bond schedule 2026

When is the next prize bond draw?

Thursday 15 October 2026, the Rs 750 bond at Rawalpindi. The next one after that is 16 November, when Rs 1,500 and Rs 100 bonds draw on the same day.

Can I buy a bond now for the November draw?

Only if it is issued by 17 September 2026, 60 days before the draw. A bond bought after that date is first eligible in February 2027.

How long can I claim a prize?

Six years from the draw date, according to National Savings. After that the prize lapses.

Where do I claim a big prize?

Any prize above Rs 1,250 is paid only at State Bank branches, with a claim form, the original bond and a CNIC copy.

Is there a Rs 7,500 or Rs 15,000 draw in 2026?

No. The 2026 schedule lists only Rs 100, 200, 750, 1,500 and the two premium bonds. Holders of older denominations should ask a State Bank office about conversion or encashment.

Last checked and sources

Last checked 17 September 2026. We read the Schedule tab of the prize bonds page on savings.gov.pk, which carries the Central Directorate of National Savings letter No. F.3 (12) Sch-2/PB-15/Draw Schedule dated 21 October 2025 as a scanned image, and transcribed every date, weekday and city above from it, along with its note on public holidays and the page's statement of 15 and 30 per cent tax. We read the Download Draws page and the six most recent official draw lists, one per denomination, for the prize amounts and counts: Rs 100 on 17 August 2026, Rs 200 on 15 September 2026, Rs 750 on 15 July 2026, Rs 1,500 on 15 May 2026, and both premium bonds on 10 September 2026; the third prize counts for the Rs 750 and Rs 1,500 lists are our own count. We read the Prize Bonds section of the National Savings FAQ page for the 60 day rule, the six year claim window, the Rs 1,250 payment threshold, the claim documents, the three to four working day wait, and the helpline (051) 111 267 268, and the Draw Search page for its range search and its database update notice. Draw numbers for upcoming draws are the last published number plus one and are our arithmetic, as are the 60 day cutoff dates. We could not read any page on sbp.org.pk on the day, including its own copy of the schedule, so nothing here is cited to the State Bank directly. National Savings can reschedule a draw for a public holiday, so confirm the date on savings.gov.pk or the helpline in the week of the draw.
