Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Round 2 Fixtures: 4 Gold Matches From 9 November, and the Test Players Who Miss Out
Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Round 2 runs 9 to 12 November in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Abbottabad. See all Gold and Silver fixtures and which Test players miss out.

Round 2 of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold runs from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November 2026, with four four-day matches in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Abbottabad. It starts on the same day as the first Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Test in Rawalpindi. So Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel and the rest of the Test squad cannot play in it.
We matched the PCB's Gold fixture list and team rosters, which we read on 2 and 4 November, against the 14-man Test squad. Below are the four Gold fixtures and grounds, the six Silver fixtures, which teams lose players to the Test, and how to watch.
Four Gold matches start on 9 November
The four Gold fixtures in Round 2 are Karachi Blues v Multan, Sialkot Blues v Faisalabad, Islamabad v Lahore Whites and FATA v Peshawar Blues. They run from 9 to 12 November at four grounds in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Abbottabad.
| Match | Ground | Dates |
|---|---|---|
| Karachi Blues v Multan | Diamond Cricket Ground, Islamabad | 9 to 12 November |
| Sialkot Blues v Faisalabad | Shoaib Akhtar Stadium (KRL), Rawalpindi | 9 to 12 November |
| Islamabad v Lahore Whites | Abbottabad Cricket Stadium | 9 to 12 November |
| FATA v Peshawar Blues | National Cricket Ground, Islamabad | 9 to 12 November |
The Gold tier has eight teams and seven rounds, ending on 12 December. The final is on 15 to 19 December. The full list of rounds is in our Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2026-27 schedule.

Lahore Whites and Karachi Blues lose the most to the Test
Lahore Whites lose Babar Azam, and Karachi Blues lose their captain Saud Shakeel and wicketkeeper Mohammad Ghazi Ghori. Both are in the Test squad for Rawalpindi from 9 November. Karachi Blues also lose two reserves, Abdullah Fazal and Saad Baig, who are in the Test squad too.
This is a simple date clash. The first Test runs from 9 to 13 November, and Round 2 runs from 9 to 12 November. No player can be in both places. Here is every Test squad member we found in a Gold team's list:
| Test player | Gold team | Listed as |
|---|---|---|
| Babar Azam | Lahore Whites | Main squad |
| Saud Shakeel | Karachi Blues | Captain |
| Mohammad Ghazi Ghori | Karachi Blues | Main squad, wicketkeeper |
| Abdullah Fazal, Saad Baig | Karachi Blues | Reserves |
| Arafat Minhas, Sameer Minhas, Ali Usman | Multan | Reserves |
| Azan Awais | Sialkot Blues | Reserve |
We did not find Mohammad Abbas, Salman Ali Agha, Razaullah, Mohammad Taha or Mohammad Suleman in the eight Gold squad lists we read. They may play for Silver teams or may not be listed. Who captains Karachi Blues in Saud Shakeel's place was not in any PCB release we read.

The Test squad also misses Round 3
Round 3 runs from 15 to 18 November, and the second Test is in Lahore from 17 to 21 November. So the same players are likely to miss Round 3 as well. Babar Azam played Round 1 for Lahore Whites before joining the Test squad.
Round 3 has Islamabad v Karachi Blues, Sialkot Blues v FATA, Multan v Faisalabad and Lahore Whites v Peshawar Blues. The PCB has not said whether Test players who are not picked for the second Test will be released back to their teams. We will update this page if it does.
Some big names stay available for Round 2. Mohammad Rizwan, who made 200 not out for Peshawar Blues in Round 1, and FATA captain Shaheen Shah Afridi are not in the Test squad. Their two teams meet in Round 2 at the National Cricket Ground. Rizwan's double hundred is in our Round 1 day 2 report.
Six Silver matches run on the same dates
The Silver tier plays its own round from 9 to 12 November. The six fixtures are Bahawalpur v Quetta, Lahore Blues v Peshawar Whites, Larkana v Rawalpindi, Abbottabad v Dera Murad Jamali, Karachi Whites v Sialkot Whites and Hyderabad v AJK.
Silver Group A plays in Karachi and Group B in Multan, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur, the PCB release of 2 November says. The winner of the Silver tier is promoted to Gold. Silver's final is on 3 to 7 December.
- Bahawalpur v Quetta
- Lahore Blues v Peshawar Whites
- Larkana v Rawalpindi
- Abbottabad v Dera Murad Jamali
- Karachi Whites v Sialkot Whites
- Hyderabad v AJK
Lahore Blues and Quetta both won by nine wickets in their first Silver round, as our Silver Round 1 report explains.
Every Gold match streams on tapmad and Tamasha
The PCB says all Gold matches are streamed live on tapmad and Tamasha. In Silver, four of the six matches in each round are streamed, but the PCB did not say which two are left out. No TV channel was named in the release we read.
- Install tapmad or Tamasha before Monday morning and sign in.
- Search for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 9 November.
- Pick the match by team name, because all four Gold games run at once.
- If you also want the Test, check the Test listing separately, as it is a different stream.
The PCB has not published a daily start time for these matches. The squads for every team are in our Quaid-e-Azam Trophy squads list.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
The fixtures, grounds, rosters and streaming partners come from the PCB release of 2 November 2026 and its schedule files, as read at source for our schedule and squads pages on 4 November. The PCB website refused our connection on 7 November, so we could not re-open them today. The Test squad is from the ICC report of 24 October. The list of missing players is our own match of the two lists.
