The Rs 200 prize bond draw is on Tuesday 15 December 2026 at Peshawar, the last prize bond draw of the year on the National Savings schedule, and if prizes match September it pays Rs 750,000 first, five prizes of Rs 250,000 and about 2,400 prizes of Rs 1,250. One date matters right now: only bonds issued by 16 October 2026 are in it, so a Rs 200 bond bought this week waits for 2027. Below are the prizes, the cut-off, and how to check and collect.

We read the 2026 schedule letter on the National Savings prize bonds page and every 2026 Rs 200 result file on 24 October 2026. The schedule lists 15-12-2026 (Tuesday) for the Rs 200 bond at Peshawar.

Rs 200 prize bond draw date: 15 December 2026 at Peshawar

The fourth Rs 200 draw of 2026 is on Tuesday 15 December at Peshawar. By our count it is the 108th, after the 107th at Muzaffarabad on 15 September. If 15 December became a public holiday, National Savings says the draw would move to the next working day.

The 105th, 106th and 107th draw numbers are printed on the official files. After 15 December, no prize bond draw is left in 2026: the 2026 prize bond schedule ends with this one, and National Savings had not posted a 2027 schedule when we checked.

Rs 200 bonds bought after 16 October 2026 are not in the December draw

National Savings says a bond must be issued at least 60 days before the draw. Sixty days before 15 December is 16 October 2026. A Rs 200 bond issued after that date first enters the March 2027 draw, whenever it is scheduled.

The same 60 days are the shut period, when National Savings Centres and the State Bank stop selling the denomination. So from mid October you may be told Rs 200 bonds are not available until after 15 December. That is the rule, not a shortage.

The State Bank's August result for the Rs 1,500 bond shows the cut-off can be a few days earlier in practice: it included bonds "sold up to" 64 days before that draw. If you bought a Rs 200 bond around 12 to 16 October, check the December list rather than assume either way.

The Rs 200 bond pays Rs 750,000, Rs 250,000 and Rs 1,250 prizes

All three 2026 Rs 200 draws so far paid a first prize of Rs 750,000, second prizes of Rs 250,000 and third prizes of Rs 1,250. The September list printed one first prize, five second prizes and said 2,400 third prizes. Expect the same table in December.

PrizeAmountNumber in SeptemberFiler keeps (15% tax)Non-filer keeps (30% tax)
FirstRs 750,0001Rs 637,500Rs 525,000
SecondRs 250,0005Rs 212,500Rs 175,000
ThirdRs 1,2502,400 statedRs 1,062.50Rs 875

We counted the third prize numbers on the September file ourselves and found 2,394, six fewer than the 2,400 its heading states. We cannot tell from the file whether six numbers were left off or the heading is rounded, so check your bond against the list and, if in doubt, against Draw Search too.

The September first prize was 516806. The second prizes were 381066, 425087, 796229, 799273 and 844138. By our arithmetic, about 2,406 winning numbers out of 999,999 in a series give one Rs 200 bond roughly a 1 in 416 chance of some prize in a draw.

Rs 200 prize bond prizes and what a filer and non-filer keep

A Rs 1,250 prize can be collected at a National Savings Centre or bank

National Savings says prizes up to Rs 1,250 can be claimed at any National Savings Centre, an authorised bank branch or a State Bank branch. The Rs 200 third prize is exactly Rs 1,250, so most winners avoid the State Bank queue. The bigger prizes go to a State Bank BSC branch.

The papers are the same everywhere:

  • The prize claim form, free on savings.gov.pk.
  • A photocopy of your valid CNIC.
  • The original winning bond.
  • A photocopy of the bond, signed by you on the back.

Claims open about three or four working days after the draw and stay open for six years, so a 15 December prize can be claimed until 15 December 2032. There is no fee. The full prize bond claim process explains what the counter checks. Tax is taken at payment, and the tax on prize bond wins sets out who counts as a filer.

Check the Rs 200 result on savings.gov.pk once it is posted

The Rs 200 result goes up as a text file on the National Savings Rs 200 draw page. The September file was posted the day after the draw. Search it for your six digits, or use Draw Search for a range of bonds.

  1. Open savings.gov.pk, then Prize Bonds, then Download Draws, and choose Rs 200.
  2. Open the file for 15 December 2026.
  3. Check the first and five second prize numbers at the top.
  4. Use Find in page for each six digit bond number, leading zeros included.
  5. For a series of bonds, use Draw Search with Rs 200, the draw date and your range.

One label on the September file may confuse you: its heading calls the bonds "premium prize bonds". The National Savings FAQ lists only the Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000 bonds as registered premium bonds, and the March and June Rs 200 files call them national prize bonds. The Rs 200 bond is ordinary bearer paper, so keep it safe and see checking a prize bond result for the Draw Search screen.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 24 October 2026. We read the 2026 schedule scan on the National Savings prize bonds page, the three 2026 Rs 200 result files on its Rs 200 draw page, the scanned Rs 1,500 result of 17 August 2026 for the cut-off example, and the National Savings FAQ for the 60 day rule, the Rs 1,250 claim rule, tax and the six year limit. The 108th draw number, the 16 October cut-off, the third prize count, the net prizes and the 1 in 416 chance are our arithmetic. The December prize table and result are not published yet.
