Which Samsung monitor to buy

Our opinion from Samsung's printed specs and prices. We have not tested these monitors ourselves.

Which Samsung monitor to buy in Pakistan: S3 for office, Odyssey G4 for fast games, Odyssey G5 G50F for most gamers, ViewFinity S7 for 4K, 34 inch G5 for ultra wide
  • Office, study or home PC: Essential S3 S30GD at Rs 35,000.
  • Fast competitive games on a budget: Odyssey G4 at Rs 81,000.
  • Best all round for gaming: Odyssey G5 G50F at Rs 93,500.

  • Ultra wide: 34 inch Odyssey G5 at Rs 126,000.

Check these before you buy a monitor

  1. Your graphics card or laptop port. A 240Hz or 180Hz monitor only runs that fast if your PC can send it. Check whether your laptop has HDMI or a USB-C port with display output.
  2. Your desk depth. A 32 or 34 inch screen needs about 60 cm of desk depth to sit back far enough.
  3. The cable in the box. Ask the seller which cable comes with it. A fast refresh rate may need DisplayPort or a newer HDMI cable.
  4. The warranty. Samsung's store price comes with Samsung's warranty. A shop may offer only its own.

If your new monitor shows no picture, follow our fix for an external monitor not detected in Windows 11. To check what your laptop can drive, see how to check your laptop's processor, generation and RAM.
