The order is notification No. SO(ME)7-6/2021, dated 23 December 2021. We read it on the department's website on 10 October 2026. That website did not open for us on 27 October, and the hospital's own site, shl.punjab.gov.pk, refused our connection the same day. So the hours below come from the Punjab order, not from a Services Hospital notice.

SIMS says Services Hospital has a seven storied OPD block that runs outpatient clinics for 16 specialties. A separate radiology and specialties block holds neurology, pulmonology, thoracic surgery, dermatology, neurosurgery and ENT wards with their own operation theatres.
The hospital also has two children's wards, one endocrinology (hormone and diabetes) ward and one psychiatry ward, according to SIMS. Its emergency department has full diagnostic facilities on site.

An OPD visit takes five steps. Bring your original CNIC, old prescriptions and test reports, and a list of the medicines you take. For a child, bring the B-form and the vaccination card.
- Go to the OPD block on Jail Road before 9am, Monday to Saturday.
- Register at the counter with your CNIC and get an OPD slip for the right specialty.
- Find that specialty's floor in the OPD block and wait for your turn.
- Take any test the doctor orders to the lab or radiology, and return with the result if asked.
- For chest pain, a stroke, heavy bleeding, labour pains or an injury, skip the OPD and go to the emergency.
A seven storey block can be confusing. Ask the registration staff which floor your specialty is on before you start climbing stairs with an elderly patient.

The address SIMS gives is Ghaus-ul-Azam (Jail) Road, Lahore 54000. The secretariat number is printed in an old seven digit style. If it does not connect, use the UAN, which is the easier line to remember anyway.
