Steps to book a Shalamar Hospital Lahore appointment on the patient portal

Book online on the Shalamar Patient Portal or app

Shalamar's website links its Book Appointment, Find a Doctor and Request Labs and Reports buttons to the Shalamar Patient Portal at patientapp.shalamarhospital.org.pk. The same portal is an app, Shalamar Patient Portal, on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

  1. Open patientapp.shalamarhospital.org.pk, or install the Shalamar Patient Portal app.
  2. Choose Find a Doctor to look up a consultant.
  3. Choose Book Appointment and follow the on-screen steps.
  4. Sign in when the portal asks, using the details you register with.
  5. If the portal fails, call 042-111-205-205 and give the department's extension.

Keep the same registration details for every visit, so your reports and appointments stay under one record. The portal loads as an app inside the browser, so it needs a modern phone browser with JavaScript on. The hospital does not publish OPD hours or consultation fees on its website, so ask either on the UAN. If you would rather use a government hospital, see the Mayo Hospital Lahore OPD timings or the Services Hospital OPD timings.

The lab runs 24 hours and reports results online

Shalamar's clinical laboratory has run since 1990 and says it tests 24 hours a day across all specialties, more than 400,000 tests a year. It has taken part in the College of American Pathologists' external proficiency testing since 2019. Results are available online.

For lab queries, the pathology page gives extension 330 on the UAN or 0333-0427582. The blood bank is licensed as a category A blood bank by the Punjab Blood Transfusion Authority, collects about 400 donations a month, and works round the clock. A family arranging donors can check any other blood bank's status the same way, through the Punjab blood bank licence check.

Patients who cannot pay can ask for welfare support

Shalamar's Patient Welfare Services give free or subsidised care to needy patients for consultations, admissions, tests, surgery, medicine, food and lodging. The hospital says it subsidised treatment for 467,518 patients worth Rs 234 million in 2019-20 alone.

The welfare page promises a single-window, single-visit assessment and eligibility checks, but it does not publish the criteria or a form. Ask at the hospital's welfare desk before admission, not after discharge. Complaints about care go first to the complaint cell on 0335-4617958; if that fails, the provincial route is a complaint to the Punjab Healthcare Commission.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read Shalamar Hospital's extensions page, contact page, pathology, accident and emergency, patient welfare and welfare support pages, and the home page links to its patient portal, on 1 November 2026. The portal pages load only in a full browser, so we did not see its booking screens, and the hospital does not publish OPD hours, fees or welfare criteria.
