Sindh University Merit List 2027: First List 10 November, All 5 List Dates and CNIC Check
Sindh University's first 2027 merit list comes out on 10 November 2026. See all five list dates, each fee window, the CNIC check and how to file an objection.

The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, puts out its first provisional merit list for Admissions 2027 on 10 November 2026, and you check it by CNIC on the admission portal at admission.usindh.edu.pk. Four more lists follow in December, each with its own short fee window, and classes start on 4 January 2027.
Missing a fee window is the most common way a selected student loses a seat. Below are all five list dates, the fee window that goes with each, how to search by CNIC, and what to do if your name is missing or wrong. We read the university's official schedule, posted on its news site on 30 July 2026, and its Admissions 2027 advertisement on 24 October 2026.
The first Sindh University merit list for 2027 comes out on 10 November 2026
The first provisional list for Bachelor and BS (3rd Year) admissions is due on Tuesday 10 November 2026. Objections run from 10 to 12 November, a revised first list follows on 15 November, and selected students pay fees from 16 to 27 November.
The word "provisional" matters. A name on the first list is an offer, not an admission. The seat becomes yours only after you pay the fee and hand in your documents inside the window. If you passed the pre-entry test, the 40 per cent bar explained in the Sindh University pre-entry test results, you are in the pool these lists are drawn from.

Sindh University publishes five lists between 10 November and 29 December
The university's schedule lists five provisional merit lists, three special lists for leftover seats, and a separate fee window for each. The last fee window closes on 2 January 2027, two days before classes begin on 4 January.
| List | Date | Objections or revised list | Fee and documents window |
|---|---|---|---|
| First provisional list | 10 November 2026 | Objections 10 to 12 November, revised list 15 November | 16 to 27 November 2026 |
| Second provisional list | 1 December 2026 | Objections 2 December, revised list 3 December | 4 to 11 December 2026 |
| Third list and first special list (leftover seats) | 15 December 2026 | None listed | 15 to 19 December 2026 |
| Fourth list and second special list | 22 December 2026 | None listed | 22 to 26 December 2026 |
| Fifth list and third special list | 29 December 2026 | None listed | 29 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 |
Look at the gap between list and deadline. The first window is 12 days long. From the third list onwards it is five days, sometimes less. A family that waits for a weekend trip to Jamshoro can miss it.
You check the merit list by CNIC on admission.usindh.edu.pk
The Directorate of Admissions runs two merit list pages: one searched by CNIC and one by department. Bachelor and BS (3rd Year) lists sit on separate pages. Your e-portal account dashboard is where the fee challan appears once you are selected.
- Open admission.usindh.edu.pk, the University of Sindh admission portal.
- Choose "Bachelor Provisional Merit Lists" if you applied for a first-semester programme, or the BS (3rd Year)/Master list if you hold a two-year degree.
- Pick the search by CNIC, type the 13-digit CNIC or B-Form number you registered with, and search.
- If your name appears, note the programme and campus. Then log in to your e-portal account.
- Download the fee challan from the dashboard and pay it inside the window for that list.
- Take the printed application form, original transcripts and attested copies to the Directorate of Admissions in Jamshoro, or to your campus if you were placed at one.
The department-wise page is useful too. It shows the full list for a programme, so you can see how far down the merit went.

The merit list portal still shows last year's notices before 10 November
When we opened the CNIC merit list page on 24 October 2026, it carried an "Admissions 2027" heading but its notices still described the previous cycle's selection lists and dates in December 2024 and March 2025. Do not act on those dates.
This is normal for a portal between cycles, but it confuses people. The 2027 dates above come from the university's own July 2026 schedule. If the portal shows a different fee date after 10 November, follow the portal, because the latest notice from the Directorate wins.
Use only the usindh.edu.pk addresses. Lookalike result sites copy the lists, and some ask for a fee to "confirm" a seat. The university does not charge anything through a third party.
Pay the admission fee inside your window or the seat goes to the next list
The advertisement says selected candidates must pay the admission fee within the prescribed deadline. A seat left unpaid is offered again in the next list, so missing the window can mean waiting for a leftover seat in a programme you did not want.
The university's advertisement says the Rs 3,000 application processing fee was paid through an HBL branch or 1-Bill supported banks and wallets. The admission fee challan is a separate document, generated only after selection. The amount depends on the programme and on whether the seat is merit or self-finance, so read it on your own challan rather than on any list online.

If money is the problem, look at help early, because scholarship money rarely arrives before the first fee is due. The Sindh Zakat university scholarship and the SEEF scholarship for Sindh students are the two provincial schemes to read first.
Name missing or details wrong: file an objection in the two-day window
Objections are allowed after the first list (10 to 12 November) and the second list (2 December). Use them if your name, marks, category or district quota is wrong. The revised lists on 15 November and 3 December reflect accepted objections.
Typical reasons people raise objections: a quota seat not applied, test marks entered wrongly, or a programme choice order mixed up. Take your test result, CNIC or B-Form, domicile and PRC, and the printed online form. The Directorate's phone numbers on the advertisement are 022-9213166 and 022-9213199, and its email is admission@usindh.edu.pk.
If you are not on any list after 29 December, your choices are a leftover seat in a special list, a different university, or the next cycle. The Karachi University open merit admission for 2027 runs on a different calendar and is worth comparing.
Classes for Academic Year 2027 begin on 4 January 2027
The university's schedule sets 4 January 2027 as the start of classes for the 2027 academic year. Students selected in the fifth list pay until 2 January, so they arrive with one working day to spare.
The advertisement also notes that an evening programme needs at least 40 students to run. If an evening class does not fill, students are offered another programme or a refund of the admission fee. Keep that in mind if you choose an evening seat at a smaller campus such as Badin, Dadu, Thatta or Naushahro Feroze.
Common questions
When is the first Sindh University merit list for 2027?
On 10 November 2026, according to the university's admission schedule. Objections follow from 10 to 12 November and a revised first list on 15 November.
How do I check the Sindh University merit list by CNIC?
Open admission.usindh.edu.pk, choose the Bachelor or BS (3rd Year) provisional merit list, select the CNIC search and enter your 13-digit number.
What is the last date to pay fees after the first list?
27 November 2026. The first-list fee window runs from 16 to 27 November.
How many merit lists will Sindh University publish for 2027?
Five provisional lists, on 10 November, 1 December, 15 December, 22 December and 29 December, plus three special lists for leftover seats.
What happens if I do not pay the fee on time?
The seat is treated as vacant and offered to the next candidate in a later list. You would then compete for leftover seats only.

No. Forty per cent makes you eligible. Your place on the merit list depends on your combined merit against other candidates for the same programme and quota.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the University of Sindh news item "SU finalises admission schedule for Academic Year 2027; classes to begin on January 4", posted on news.usindh.edu.pk on 30 July 2026, the Admissions 2027 advertisement PDF on admission.usindh.edu.pk, and the portal's merit list pages, all on 24 October 2026. The first 2027 list was not yet published when we checked, so we could not confirm cut-off marks or the admission fee amount for any programme. The schedule is the university's own and it reserves the right to change it.
