SPSC announced two written test results on 3 November 2026: 44 candidates passed the test for Associate Professor Botany (BPS-19), and no candidate passed the test for Senior Instructor Mathematics (BS-18). The Botany qualifiers have seven days to send attested documents to SPSC. SPSC is the Sindh Public Service Commission, which hires officers for the Sindh government.

Both results were posted as public notices on the SPSC website. We read both notices, and the latest interview roll number lists, on 4 November 2026. Below are the numbers, the cut-off marks, the documents Botany qualifiers must send, and the SPSC interviews due on 6 and 10 November.

44 candidates passed the Associate Professor Botany test

SPSC held the pre-interview written test for Associate Professor Botany in the College Education Department in September 2026. Of those who sat it, 25 men and 19 women qualified, a total of 44. Marks were out of 100.

The notice, No. PSC/EXAM(S.S)/2026/494, lists each qualifier by roll number, name, domicile and marks. Rural and urban are the two parts of the Sindh quota, decided by your domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC). Here is how the 44 split:

General merit, female91019
All qualifiers251944

The highest mark among men was 67 and among women 62, out of 100. The lowest qualifying mark was 37, in the male urban group.

The datum marks ranged from 37 to 46 out of 100

SPSC sets a "datum mark" for each group. It is the cut-off mark worked out from the marks statement, and it differs by gender and by rural or urban domicile. For this Botany test, the datum marks were 46 for rural men, 37 for urban men, 44 for rural women and 46 for urban women.

The notice says it is issued as an intimation only. Errors and omissions will be considered, and SPSC can correct the result if a mistake is found later. So keep checking the SPSC website until your interview letter arrives. Our guide to checking an SPSC written or interview result shows where results are posted.

Botany qualifiers must send attested documents within seven days

Every qualified candidate must send attested copies of the listed documents to the Assistant Director (Recruitment-III) at SPSC within seven days, and bring the originals on the interview day. Seven days from the 3 November notice is 10 November 2026.

The notice lists these documents:

  1. A copy of the online application form, signed by you.
  2. Three attested photographs, attested on the back.
  3. An attested copy of your CNIC.
  4. A copy of the fee challan, if you paid manually.
  5. The Matric certificate showing your date of birth, attested.

  8. All marks sheets and transcripts, attested.
  9. The original No Objection Certificate, if you are already in government service.
  10. Domicile and PRC on Form D, attested.
  11. Any other certificate the advertisement asked for, attested.

Our checklist on what to bring to an SPSC interview explains attestation and the common mistakes.

No candidate passed the Senior Instructor Mathematics test

SPSC held the pre-interview written test for Senior Instructor Mathematics (BS-18) on 25 August 2026. The post is in the Provincial Institute of Teachers Education (PITE), under the School Education and Literacy Department. The notice, No. PSC/EXAM(S.S)/2026/493, says no candidate secured the minimum passing marks.

The notice does not say how many people sat the test, what the pass mark was, or whether the post will be advertised again. If you applied, keep an eye on new SPSC advertisements. A fresh advertisement would mean applying again from the start.

SPSC interviews on 6 and 10 November 2026

SPSC's interview programme No. 484, dated 30 October 2026, sets interviews for four posts before its committee in Karachi, at 10 am. On 31 October, SPSC posted the date-wise roll numbers. Check your roll number in the list for your post before you travel to Karachi, not Hyderabad, where SPSC's head office is.
