WWF Hajj Ballot 2027 for Workers in Islamabad: 15 Places, Eligibility, Documents and Result Status
WWF is sending 15 Islamabad industrial workers on Hajj 2027 by ballot. See who could apply, the nine documents, the 17 September deadline and the result status.

The Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) is sending 15 Muslim industrial and mine workers from Islamabad-based establishments on Hajj 2027 at its own cost, chosen by ballot. Applications closed on 17 September 2026, and as of 1 November 2026 WWF had not posted the ballot result on its website. Workers aged 40 to 60, registered with EOBI or social security and in pay scale 1 to 9 or equivalent, could apply.
For a factory worker on a small wage, a fully paid Hajj is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. We read WWF's Urdu advertisement for the ballot and its news page on wwf.gov.pk on 1 November 2026. Here are the rules, the papers it asked for, and what applicants should expect next.
WWF is paying for 15 workers, qurbani included
WWF's advertisement says it will send 15 registered Muslim industrial or mine workers from Islamabad on Hajj 2027 through a ballot. It will pay the Hajj expenses, including the sacrifice (qurbani), under the government's Hajj Policy 2027.
The ballot follows the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Hajj policy. One cost is not covered. If a woman worker wins, the expenses of her mahram, the male relative who must travel with her, are her own.
There is no cash option either. The advertisement says a winner who cannot use the place is not entitled to money in its place. WWF's decision on the ballot is final and cannot be challenged in any forum, according to the same notice.

Eight conditions decided who could apply
The worker had to be 40 to 60, registered with EOBI or the Employees' Social Security Institution, a worker under the Industrial Relations Act 2012, and in pay scale 1 to 9 or equivalent. The employer had to be registered in Islamabad and paying its WWF contribution.
| Condition | What WWF required |
|---|---|
| Age | Between 40 and 60 |
| Registration | EOBI or Employees' Social Security Institution |
| Worker status | Worker under IRA 2012; pay scale 1 to 9 or equivalent, citing a Religious Affairs letter of 8 September 2025 |
| Faith and past Hajj | Affidavit of being Muslim, and of not having done Hajj before at government expense or under a government scheme |
| Employer contribution | Paying 2% or 5% to WWF, with the 2025-26 challan paid |
| Employer location | Registered as an industrial or mining establishment in Islamabad |
| Women | Mahram's expenses paid by the worker |
| If Hajj 2027 cannot happen | Winners keep their place for the next year |
The faith and past Hajj condition is our summary of a long Urdu clause. Read the original advertisement on wwf.gov.pk if the wording matters to your case.
Nine documents went with each form
The advertisement says an application missing any of these papers would not be considered. Winners will likely be asked for originals, so keep them together now rather than hunting for them when the call comes.
- Attested copy of the worker's CNIC.
- Attested copy of the EOBI or social security card.
- Copy of the office card.
- Attested copy of the appointment letter.
- Original service certificate from the employer, showing name, CNIC, father's name, age, post, kind of work and length of service.
- Original affidavit on stamp paper.
- Passport-size photo on a white background.
- Copy of the employer's registration as an industrial or mining establishment in Islamabad.
- Copy of the employer's WWF tax challans for 2025-26.

Applications closed on 17 September 2026
WWF took applications from 3 September to 17 September 2026, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, at its G-10/4 office. It said late or incomplete forms would not be accepted and there would be no extension. The form was a download on wwf.gov.pk.
So a worker who missed that window cannot join this ballot. The advertisement also says winners whose Hajj falls through in 2027 keep their right for the following year, and will not be entered in that year's fresh ballot.
The result has not been posted yet
On 1 November 2026, WWF's latest news item was still the August ballot advertisement itself, and its downloads page still listed the Hajj application form. We found no list of winners, ballot date or announcement on the site.
WWF's new online system, mis.wwf.gov.pk, lists Hajj grants among its services for registered workers. Applicants who are registered there should watch their account and their phone for an SMS. Others can call the officer who signed the advertisement, the Assistant Director (Welfare), on 051-9106325, extension 207.
The government's own Hajj scheme ballot is a separate process with its own results, covered in the Hajj 2027 balloting result. Employers who want to send workers at company cost use the labour quota, explained in Hajj 2027 labour quota applications.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 1 November 2026. We read WWF's Urdu advertisement "Qura andazi baraye Hajj 2027", posted on its news page on 31 August 2026, together with the news list and downloads list on wwf.gov.pk and the services list on mis.wwf.gov.pk. The conditions are our English summary of the Urdu text. The advertisement gives a weekday beside 3 September that does not match the calendar, so we give the dates only. We found no ballot result or ballot date, and did not call WWF.
