Xiaomi HyperOS Update in Pakistan: HyperOS 3 Phones and HyperOS 4 Status
Xiaomi's global HyperOS 3 list covers 53 Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones. HyperOS 4 is only a beta, with no global release list. Check yours and how to update.

The latest official Xiaomi HyperOS update for phones sold outside China is still HyperOS 3. Xiaomi's global page lists 53 Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones, plus 13 tablets, in three batches, from October 2025 to March 2026. HyperOS 4 is still a test version. Xiaomi has opened a global beta for seven Xiaomi phones, but there is no global release list yet.
We read Xiaomi's own HyperOS pages on 29 September 2026 and again on 5 October 2026: the global page, Xiaomi Pakistan's page, Xiaomi's global community notice for the HyperOS 4 beta, and the Chinese HyperOS site. The global and Chinese pages tell two different stories, and a Redmi owner in Pakistan needs the global one.
HyperOS is Xiaomi's own software layer on top of Android. It replaced MIUI. Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones all run it, so one schedule covers all three brands.
HyperOS 3 is the current Xiaomi HyperOS update outside China
Xiaomi's global HyperOS page shows the "Xiaomi HyperOS 3 release schedule" and nothing newer. It says the information "applies to global versions" of Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices sold outside the Chinese Mainland. That includes phones bought in Pakistan. Xiaomi Pakistan's own HyperOS page shows the same schedule and the same phones.
The schedule has three batches. Xiaomi calls each one a "soft release", which means the update reaches phones a few at a time rather than all at once. So a date range is when your phone should start to see it, not a promise for a particular day.
| HyperOS 3 batch | When it started | Examples from Xiaomi's list |
|---|---|---|
| First | October to November 2025 | Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15T Pro, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 14, POCO F7 Pro, POCO X7 Pro |
| Second | November to December 2025 | Xiaomi 14T Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi 15, Redmi 14C, Redmi 13, POCO M6 Pro |
| Third | December 2025 to March 2026 | Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 12, Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi 15C, POCO X6 |

All three windows have now passed. If your phone is on the list and still runs HyperOS 2, the update is late for your region or your model variant, not cancelled.
These Redmi and POCO phones are on the HyperOS 3 list
Redmi phones are the Xiaomi models most people carry in Pakistan. Xiaomi's global HyperOS 3 list names 17 Redmi phones, 18 POCO phones and 18 Xiaomi phones, plus tablets and wearables. If yours is not named, Xiaomi has not promised it HyperOS 3.
- Redmi Note 14 family: Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Note 14 Pro 5G, Note 14 Pro, Note 14, Note 14 5G, Note 14S.
- Redmi Note 13 family: Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, Note 13 Pro, Note 13 5G.
- Redmi number series: Redmi 15, Redmi 15 5G, Redmi 15C, Redmi 15C 5G, Redmi 14C, Redmi 13, Redmi 13x.
- POCO: F7 Ultra, F7 Pro, F7, F6 Pro, F6, F5 Pro, F5, X7 Pro, X7, X6 Pro, X6, M7 Pro 5G, M7, M6 Pro, M6, C85, C75, and the X7 Pro Iron Man Edition.
- Xiaomi: 15 Ultra, 15, 15T Pro, 15T, MIX Flip, 14 Ultra, 14, 14T Pro, 14T, 13 Ultra, 13 Pro, 13, 13T Pro, 13T, 13 Lite, 12 Pro, 12, 12T Pro.
Two points to watch. The plain Redmi Note 13 4G is not on the list we read, while the Note 13 Pro and the 5G models are. And the Redmi 13C, a very common budget phone here, is not named either.
Phones launched after the list, such as the Redmi Note 15 and the Xiaomi 17T Pro, are not in this upgrade schedule at all. Check the software version on the box or in Settings, since Xiaomi did not list them.
HyperOS 4 is still a beta, with the China release from 15 October
Xiaomi's Chinese HyperOS site shows a "Xiaomi HyperOS 4 Beta" push plan with three dates: 14 August, 27 August and 17 September 2026. It covers Chinese models only, mostly the Xiaomi 17 family, the Xiaomi 15 family and Redmi K phones.
| China beta date | Phones on Xiaomi's list |
|---|---|
| From 14 August 2026 | Xiaomi 17 Ultra, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro, 17, Redmi K90 Pro Max, Redmi K90 |
| From 27 August 2026 | Xiaomi 17 Max, 17T Pro, 17T, 15 Ultra, 15S Pro, 15 Pro, 15, Redmi K90 Max, K90 Ultra |
| From 17 September 2026 | Redmi K100 Pro Max, K100 Pro, K80 Pro, K80 Ultra, K80, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 |

A beta is a test version, not the final update. The Chinese page also says it applies to the Chinese Mainland only, and that models and timing may be "fine-tuned". There is no Redmi Note or POCO phone on it at all.
The final version is next in China. Xiaomi's official update account on its Chinese community said on 17 September that the stable HyperOS 4 will start reaching the first existing phones in China on 15 October 2026, and then more models. That notice is for China only.
The global HyperOS 4 beta covers seven Xiaomi phones
Outside China, Xiaomi has opened a HyperOS 4 Global Beta Test through its community app. Its notice, dated 10 September 2026, names these phones in their Global and EEA versions:
- Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi
- Xiaomi 17
- Xiaomi 17T Pro and Xiaomi 17T, from 17 September
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15, from 17 September
This is a sign-up test, not an update for everyone. You apply in the Xiaomi Community app under Me, then Beta testing, and pass a short quiz. Xiaomi warns that a beta may be less stable and that going back to HyperOS 3 needs a full flash at a service centre, which can erase your data. Do not try it on the only phone you use for banking or work.
Lists of global HyperOS 4 phones and dates are already doing the rounds online. Xiaomi has not published a release list on its global HyperOS page, which still shows HyperOS 3. Until it does, treat those lists as guesses. The wider picture for Android is in our list of Android 17 phones in Pakistan.
Check and install the HyperOS update on your phone
HyperOS updates arrive over the air through Settings. Open Settings, tap the phone's name or About phone at the top, and look for the update option. It takes a few minutes to check, and the download is large, so use Wi-Fi.
- Back up your photos and WhatsApp chats.
- Connect to Wi-Fi and charge the phone well above half.
- Open Settings, then About phone, and tap the HyperOS version.
- Tap the option to check for updates.
- Download, install and restart when asked.

Menu names vary a little between models. If you cannot find it, search Settings for "update". Do not flash a HyperOS file from a YouTube link or a shop's USB stick. A bad install can leave the phone stuck on the logo, and a repair after that may not be covered by your phone warranty.
Common questions
Is HyperOS 4 available in Pakistan?
Not as a final update. On 5 October 2026, Xiaomi's global page still showed the HyperOS 3 schedule. The only global HyperOS 4 build is a beta test for seven Xiaomi phones, which you must apply for.
Will the Redmi Note 14 get HyperOS 3?
Yes. The Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro, Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Note 14 5G and Note 14S are all on Xiaomi's global HyperOS 3 list.
Does the Redmi 13C get HyperOS 3?
It is not on the global list we read. Xiaomi names the Redmi 13 and 13x, but not the 13C.
When will HyperOS 4 come to Redmi Note phones?
Xiaomi has not said for global phones. No Redmi Note phone is on the China beta plan or the global beta, and there is no global HyperOS 4 release list yet. Reports say Redmi Note phones are in a later phase of the China release, but we could not read that list on a Xiaomi page.
Is HyperOS the same as MIUI?
HyperOS replaced MIUI as Xiaomi's software for Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones. It still runs on top of Android.
My phone is on the list but has no update. Why?
Xiaomi uses a soft release, so updates reach phones in stages and by region. Check again every week or two.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We checked on 29 September 2026 and again on 5 October 2026. The HyperOS 3 schedule and the note that it covers global devices outside the Chinese Mainland are from Xiaomi's global HyperOS page, which we read through a text reader because the page blocked our direct request, and Xiaomi Pakistan's HyperOS page shows the same list. The global beta phones are from Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 Global Beta Test notice on Xiaomi Community. The HyperOS 4 Beta push plan is from Xiaomi's Chinese HyperOS site, and the 15 October China date from Xiaomi's official update notice on its Chinese community, both translated by us. Xiaomi has not published a global HyperOS 4 release list, so we give none. The Settings path may differ slightly by model.
