Zong and Jazz 5G Coverage Map in Pakistan: 950 Zong Sites by City and How to Check Your Area
We counted Zong's 950 live 5G sites and Jazz's 155 coverage areas city by city on 6 November 2026. Karachi leads with 268 Zong sites. Check your area here.

Zong's 5G coverage map lists 950 live 5G sites in Pakistan on 6 November 2026, and 268 of them are in Karachi. Islamabad has 174, Lahore 130 and Peshawar 106. Jazz's 5G map draws 155 coverage areas, most of them in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi. Ufone has no 5G map yet.
We opened both official maps on 6 November 2026 and counted every site and area ourselves, city by city. A map is the quickest way to know if 5G will work on your street before you buy a 5G phone or a 5G package. Here is what each map shows, the counts, and how to check your own area in two minutes.
Zong 5G sites by city
Zong's 5G coverage page lists each 5G site with an address and a city. The page header text says 760 sites, but the live list on the same page holds 950 sites, and the map shows that live number. We counted the 950.
| City | Zong 5G sites |
|---|---|
| Karachi | 268 |
| Islamabad | 174 |
| Lahore | 130 |
| Peshawar | 106 |
| Rawalpindi | 66 |
| Sialkot | 62 |
| Quetta | 57 |
| Hyderabad | 35 |
| Gujranwala | 16 |
| Multan | 7 |
| Faisalabad | 7 |
| Abbottabad, Depalpur area | 3 each |
| Sukkur, Kohat, Mardan, Topi, Sheikhupura | 2 each |
| Attock, Jhelum, Sahiwal, Kasur, Larkana, Mian Channu area | 1 each |
| Total | 950 |
Some sites Zong files under Islamabad have Rawalpindi addresses, such as Ghalora More and Chishtiabad near Haji Camp. So treat the twin cities as one 5G area of 240 Zong sites. Faisalabad and Multan are big cities with only 7 sites each, so 5G there will be patchy.

Jazz 5G coverage areas by city
Jazz's map works differently. It does not list sites. It draws shaded shapes over the areas Jazz says have outdoor 5G coverage. We counted 155 shapes and placed each one in its nearest city.
| City | Jazz 5G coverage areas |
|---|---|
| Islamabad and Rawalpindi | 57 |
| Karachi | 38 |
| Lahore | 19 |
| Multan | 14 |
| Faisalabad | 9 |
| Peshawar | 6 |
| Quetta | 6 |
| Gujranwala | 5 |
| Sialkot | 1 |
| Total | 155 |
One shape can cover a single tower or a whole neighbourhood, so these counts are not towers and cannot be compared with Zong's 950 sites one to one. They show where Jazz has 5G, not how much. Jazz's map notes that it shows outdoor coverage only, and that indoor signal can be weaker.

Ufone has no 5G map yet
Ufone's 5G page says its rollout will come in phases, starting with major cities, and that the list of 5G areas will be on its website and the U PTCL app. On 6 November 2026 Ufone had no 5G area list or map. Its coverage page has 4G and 3G maps only.
Ufone says you can dial *4# to check if you are in its 4G area. Where Ufone stands on 5G is in Ufone 5G status and cities.
How to check 5G in your area
The map tells you where 5G should be. Your phone tells you if it actually works where you stand. Use both.
- Open zong.com.pk/5g-coverage-map or Jazz's 5G coverage maps page under its Help Center.
- On Zong's map, pick your city in the drop-down. On Jazz's map, zoom into your area and look for the shaded shapes.
- Find the nearest site or shape to your home, office or campus.
- Check your phone supports 5G and that 5G is switched on in its mobile network settings.
- Stand outdoors near that spot and look for "5G" next to the signal bars.
- If it shows 4G only, try a few metres away, then indoors, and compare.
Whether you need a new SIM for 5G is answered in do you need a new SIM for 5G. The phone lists are in Zong 5G supported phones and Jazz 5G supported phones.

Which network to pick for 5G in your city
Pick by your own street, not by the national total. Here is how the two maps compare.
| Point | Zong | Jazz | Ufone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Map type | Site list with addresses | Shaded coverage areas | No 5G map |
| Count on 6 November 2026 | 950 sites | 155 areas | None listed |
| Strongest city | Karachi, 268 sites | Islamabad and Rawalpindi, 57 areas | Not given |
| Cities or places shown | 24 | 9 | Not given |
In Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, Zong lists far more sites. In Multan and Faisalabad, Jazz draws more areas than Zong has sites. Coverage grows every week, so check again before you pay for a 5G package. PTA told the National Assembly on 3 November that 2,300 towers had been upgraded, as reported in 5G in Karachi 70 per cent rolled out.

Jazz area counts come from the coverage file behind Jazz's 5G coverage maps page, grouped by nearest city by us. Ufone details come from Ufone's 5G page and Ufone's coverage page.
